I LIVE AT STORY POINT SOUTH AND HAVE BEEN HERE A YEAR AND A HALF AND I AM VERY SATISFIED WITH MY HOME. THIS IS AN AMAZING PLACE TO BE IN MY LATER YEARS BUT WE HAVE FUN AND EXCITEMENT AND SPECIAL EVENTS AND THE STAFF THAT PROVIDE THESE WONDERFUL TIMES ARE RIGHT THERE WITH US TO BE RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF OUR GOOD TIMES AND THEY MAKE SURE WE HAVE MANY EVENTS AND THEY ARE AS MUCH FUN AS THE ENTERTAINMENT. I LOVE MY APARTMENT IT IS VERY NICE, I HAVE TWO SMALL DOGS AND EVERYONE LOVES THEM AND FEEDS THEM SCOOBY SNACKS WHEN THEY SEE THEM AND THEY GET PETTED ALL THE TIME. THE CLEANING STAFF ARE SO KIND AND HELPFUL AND WILL HELP YOU NO MATTER IF THEY ARE BUSY SOMEWHERE ELSE THEY WILL STOP IF THEY CAN AND HELP YOU OR WILL MAKE A TIME TO HELP YOU. OUR YOUNG LADY AT THE FRONT DESK IS AN EXCEPTIONAL PERSON. SHE IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND VERY PERSONABLE TO EVERYONE SHE MEETS.

The facility is very clean, lots of activities, and the staff is fantastic!

As a home health care provider, we have the opportunity to work closely with many senior living communities, and our experience with StoryPoint Romeoville has been exceptional. Working alongside with their Director of Nursing and clinical staff (nurses and care partners) is easy and collaborative and they treat outside providers as partners in care, and that level of teamwork makes a meaningful difference for the residents we serve together. We truly appreciate our partnership with StoryPoint Romeoville and look forward to continuing to work together to provide the highest level of care for our shared patients. We moved our parents into StoryPoint Oshtemo in September. The staff are all friendly and attentive. I would recommend them to anyone. When my Mother in Law needed to be moved to memory care they were able to make that transition easy for everyone.

[Name Removed] the Executive Director is the best. She works with you, is great at communicating with you, and is very professional. She did her best to respond for any questions or concerns, even after the office was closed. [Name Removed] and her staff [Names Removed] are impressive, hard working and the best I've ever dealt with!!!! Springwood is an impressive place to call “home” All of their smiles, helpfulness and kindness hospitality will make you feel like you are family.

I looked at between 10 and 12 facilities for my mother prior to moving her here from Florida. Story Point (Provisions at the time) offered the best of everything that I was looking for. We wanted a single-story facility to encourage her to meet people and participate in events. She was used to a very large balcony overlooking a major river and sitting there was important to her. Now she has a large patio with chairs, plants and a bird feeder which she really loves. She is very withdrawn and opinionated but has really gotten into weekly manicures and Happy Hour. The staff does a wonderful job of trying to encourage her to do things. The head of activities is great and really tries to get my mom involved. The executive director is very hands on and is always there. The care givers are all wonderful. I have never regretted the decision I made.

Clean and well maintained property. Care staff are kind, compassionate and devoted to the residents. Fun and engaging activities as well as exercise offered daily. Unique special seasonal events for holidays and just because. Day trips to local restaurants, shops, casinos, etc planned multiple times per week. On site salon and physical therapy services. Live entertainment/happy hour provided twice a week. Strong community atmosphere with residents encouraging and uplifting one another. On site chefs prepare fresh tasty cuisine three times daily.

Moving here has made me feel safe and welcomed. I have been able to progress physically by utilizing therapy partnerships that are available. When I came here, I considered it my home away from home, but now I feel that this is my permanent home where I belong. There were no fears of moving in because I felt the comfort of the staff and residents were also welcoming. This community has given me pure joy, which I wasn't sure would be possible after leaving my home of 69 years. I love my apartment and enjoy the balcony that is right off my living room. There is so much natural light that comes into my apartment and it is comforting. I had been at another facility and it was a complete different feeling to come here. Everyone is kind, welcoming and have given me a sense of belonging and purpose. They truly care about my well-being. I am so thankful to be here!

Mom is a resident with special care needs and has had great care with Oliver Woods and their staff. They always treat her with respect and dignity. They always greet her with a smile and are eager to help.

My husband and I first looked at 'Blossom Ridge' when it was first opening and decided this was where we wanted to spend our ending years. I lost him in 2021 and came here by myself in 2024. IT WAS EXACTLY THE RIGHT DECISION FOR ME. THE STAFF IS FRIENDLY AND CARING, AND SO HARD WORKING, AND THERE IS A NEVER ENDING LIST OF THINGS TO DO: GAMES TO PLAY, TRIPS TO SHARE, PROGRAMS TO ENJOY. The staff is friendly and caring, AND THEY LISTEN. They may not always get things done as quickly as we might like, but they are working at them constantly. Friendly staff, SAFE and lovely place to live, good food and great neighbors...what more could I ask at this stage of my life?

I have been very pleased with Crestwood so far as a new home for my mom. When we were going through the process of looking at assisted living options, I found Crestwood's management to be much more responsive and helpful than other facilities. Everyone we have dealt with has been great, answering all of our questions, and making the transition for my mom as smooth as possible. The people at Crestwood seem kind, helpful and genuine. They offer a variety of activities for residents and encourage them to particpate whenever possible.

We put mom on a waitlist in[Date removed] and a suite became available the end of [Date Removed}. The entire “move in” was easy and [Name Removed] was so helpful. EVERYONE was and still is so helpful. This move was very difficult for my mom. After touring different facilities to care for our mom, my sister and I hands down picked StoryPoint. It’s a beautiful place and so clean. My husband told mom it was as if she was living in a resort. All of the staff have had a part in my mom settling in. So very kind. Mom has really taken to Kelly, the receptionist at the front and she cuts up with the main chef [Name Removed]. The facility plans each day with lots of fun activities. Mom is slowly starting to get more involve.

Best facility ever. Moving my mom in, staff is so supportive. We had a chance to try the food which was really good.

Wife has no regrets about being placed there. She says the staff have gone out of their way to make her stay pleasant and said the food is excellent. As a last comment, staff always go to her room any time there is an activity to see if she would like to participate. She is not left to just sit in her room and pass the time.

[name removed] and [name removed], who are on the administrative staff, are genuinely invested in the well being of the residents and are generous with their time and attention. The residents are very welcoming and friendly. The building is clean, fresh, and bright and common areas are a pleasure to spend time in.

I moved my mother to Danbury Mt. Vernon 26 months ago when she could no longer care for herself. [name removed] and the staff are very welcoming and loving to my mother. It is comforting to me to know that she is safe and being cared for. The facility is clean and there are plenty of activities for her to enjoy, I know we made the correct choice when choosing Danbury Mt . Vernon

The professional care team at Danbury have been wonderful to work with to help our parents make the move from their own home and transition into assisted living. Their kindness and caring support is like an extended family. All the staff are so committed to providing high quality personal support and are so attentive, providing a good, happy and healthy environment. We highly recommend Danbury.

Danbury Mt. Vernon is my first choice for my wife. The facility is beautifully designed and decorated. The dining room is bright and cheery. The Chef, [Name Removed] plans and prepares delicious and healthy meals. Life Enrichment Director,[Name Removed] plans and oversees activities, scenic drives, shopping trips, and special events for families to enjoy time with their loved one. The smiles on the resident and Danbury staff is infectious. The social interaction and friendships between the residents and Danbury Staff is just outstanding! I enjoy the comfort knowing my loved one is being cared for with loving hands and loving hearts. Danbury Mt. Vernon is my First Choice.

I felt this was the right solution for me after taking a tour. It was clean, bright with an energy among staff and residents. I liked the apartment for an independent lifestyle, with options to meet my future needs. The staff has been warm and welcoming. I am happy I made the decision to join StoryPoint.

Very accommodating with care requests. Change in schedules and very friendly staff and always asking how my sister is doing. She has had alot of health issues and changes in her meds and hospital stays. Hopefully that will change soon. At the end of her radiation treatments and so on.
