We toured Danbury of Broadview Heights during our search for an Independent Living facility for our loved one. This facility seemed very nice. The cleanliness was good. However, the apartments were a little bit smaller than some of the other facilities that we toured.

What sticks out the most about Danbury of Cuyahoga Falls would be the help from the staff in adjusting from home and living alone to retirement community living. The apartment sizes here have been adequate for my needs. I would recommend Danbury to others looking for retirement living.

My father-in-law was put in the memory care to start which is also the most expensive. They found that as time went on he should be in a lower level of care and suggested that to us. Of course, the less care the less costs. It made me feel like they cared about the patient and not just the money. That bought a great deal of trust with us. He is now in secured care and is much happier. They keep in contact on a regular basis and provide updates when needed. They even prevented my father-in-law from an online scam. StoryPoint provided transportation to the VA which was a huge selling point for us. We are very happy with Storypoint. They have been a Godsend.

It's a very friendly and clean place. Staff are very pleasant and attentive to residents. I would recommend to other families. We picked this community, because it was closer for family to come and visit.

Everyone was so kind and helpful during my mother's move in. We have definitely been recommending this place already. We love it there so far. We picked this community, because it was pretty, clean, had full kitchen, patios,and everyone so nice!!

The staff is very friendly and the community welcoming and engaging. [name removed] (Business Development) and [name removed] (sp Receptionist) are awesome! They were a bit slow on maintenance items at the beginning, but even that has resolved itself. I would highly recommend Storypoint to anyone who asks (especially after our experience with the community prior from where we had to move Mom after only 4 months...night and day!)

Love the atmosphere. Very clean and updated. New owners, so got off to a rough start, but things are improving. All the residents are very happy and seem content and have become family to each other. Staff has a lot of change over, but those that have been there are excellent. Needs improvement with bathing and a regular schedule in place. Schedule is very inconsistent, hoping that improves. Needs more outside activities and more variety.

We think that StoryPoint Fort Wayne West is more set up for people needing only some assistance. Not major assistance. They have lots of activities and you have to be somewhat mobile to participate. My mother was in hospice very soon after moving to StoryPoint. At that point, the dining room and activities were not a good match for her.

My loved one is a resident of Hathaway Hills in the Memory Care unit. I would rate this facility above average in every category. The staff rotates between both Assisted Living and Memory Care and know all of the residents' names. The menus are posted weekly and look and smell good. The facility is always clean and odor free. They're helpful in arranging transportation for Medical Care. The activities seem plentiful and varied. Visitors are always welcomed, the Director greets me on weekday visits. Emails are sent as needed. We've had no issues at this facility. Unless you want more facilities or a bigger room, this is a very nice place at a comparable price for the region.

We picked this community, because I was told they would take her and it was cheaper than where she was. it was also closer too. They were for the most part good and patient with her.I would recommend it to others. The aids were very good with her.

[Name removed] is the lead sales person. She is very good and can answer about any question.

We were treated with great respect. The sales manager worked with us diligently to find a good trial for my parents. Dad loves it there. He signs up for every activity and stays stimulated. Mom loves to just sit and read so that's mostly what she does. She loves not having to fix any meals or clean up after. The only complaint either have had is that the food is not very good. Parkside is one of only 2 that offer outside patios and that was a deciding factor. Also they are more affordable than most.

Physical facilities are excellent and very well maintained. Staff who works directly with resident are as professional as one could ask for. Rarely are they delayed in helping.

Very friendly staff. Very clean environment. Many activities. Dining room rules - stringent.

I enjoy living at StoryPointe. I have made a lot of friends I enjoy the activities. Most of all, the food is good and made fresh

The staff on the IL side was caring, courteous, friendly. Facility is clean, a bit dated but pricing is favorable. Would not recommend [community name removed]. [name removed] is understaffed, several caregivers were ill suited for the job

The caregivers need to understand dementia better, even with a high functioning person. You can't really as would you question, but rather that let's do this etc. There is a new cook, so things are improving. The activities person works hard to engage everyone. There need to be more variety and less changing of the times. The residents can't understand why a specific activity time keeps changing. The price seems a little high when comparing to the previous place, especially the meals/snacks that are offered. Overall, my mom is happy and the family is pleased. They need to improve a lot on communication, as there have been many days and weekends that no one answers a phone. When the phone then goes to trying to locate a person you are hung up on. My experience has been varied whether staffing is strained or not.

I found the staff were very helpful and open to questions when getting my mom signed up. I find the overall community very friendly.

I was told trash and light housekeeping would be done on a daily or semi daily basis. I'm not finding that to be the case. I think the staff is great, very friendly. My husband has falling issues. He is in memory care, but his falling remains an issue. This is probably not the best place for him, but for the time being, this is where he will remain.

My mother is a resident at Independence Village of Avon and overall, everything has been very good at this facility. The meals have been wonderful. Every staff member that I've met has been great! I would recommend this facility to family and friends.
