The community is very clean, the staff members have been excellent and have continued to follow through with their promises. The meals and dining service is exceptional. Our loved one is overall happy with the activities, they are always encouraging the residents to get involved as much as they can. It is expensive but you do get what you pay for and we feel that way about this community, our loved one is safe, happy and treated well.

I think it's a beautiful place. They have nice little spots to sit, both indoors and outdoors, if you wanted to. The people are friendly. I know my loved one says her biggest complaint was there was too much food, but I think that's just her personally. She also felt like they were coming in really often, which isn't a bad thing, but it bothered her. It was hard for her to think of it as a place to stay for a long time because it didn't feel like a home with so many interruptions. They were just doing their job and providing the care she needed, but she progressed pretty quickly after an injury and stopped needing quite as much care.

Activities are getting much better, and I think I am getting a great value. The people and staff here are so friendly, when I was looking for a place to live I wanted to find a community that you could bond and really communicate with other people and that's exactly what i get here. The only problem is this community is supposed to be independent living, but they allow everyone in here and just charge families extra if they need more care and more assistance.

We chose StoryPoint because it was very nice facility and it just seemed to be the best fit out of the ones that I saw. The residential rooms are good size, they have 1 and 2 bedroom apartments. The assisted living rooms are small studio apartments. They have been pretty good with communication with everything that is going on. I would recommend them as long as you can afford it.

The biggest thing is to make sure you understand how the medications will work from refills to distribution. Communication has been good and we would get a weekly newsletter and good at returning calls. I would recommend this community to others.
