The staff this include front desk nurse, food prep and cleaning people have been very mindful of my dads day to day needs. And they all have been kind and friendly to my dad my brother and I. We appreciate all of their effort.

All is well with mom. She is in the highest level of care and it is getting expensive but she is getting good care and that is what is important. Facility is clean and the staff is always very helpful. We visit three to four times a week, so the staff stays very attentive to mom.

We’ve been very happy with our mother’s new home in assisted-living. They were very accommodating by letting us move in all of her furniture the week before she moved in so that she was pretty settled within a week. Her studio apartment is beautifully appointed with fresh new paint carpet, appliance and cabinetry. In very close proximity, she has a beautiful library/study/family room, huge living room, Large homestyle theater, and large game room. There are also four lovely outdoor Patio areas, two rooftop, two main floor. There are many activities and our mother is slowly becoming involved with more and more. There is a Starbucks type bistro area in the lobby and a large dining room. Our only disappointment is that she often waits 30 to 45 minutes to get waited on in the dining room.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the move to Independence Village. It is an entire, different life than what I enjoyed previous. I am extremely busy in good way which I like.

Great apartments, great activities and super nice workers. The only issues are related to food and automatic debits for rent have been messed up but our Mom is living her best life so we are working on those few issues and confident we can work it out

The staff met us on grandma’s move-in day and were very nice and helpful. She has been cared for well despite being ornry and not being overly kind and nice herself to staff and residents. She has a nice looking apartment and really likes her space. There seems to be a lot of social activities which is great.

It is a good place and comfortable atmosphere. We picked them because of the proximity.

Very friendly residents, staff very considerate and friendly, ready to listen to issues and inquiries. My husband and I moved here [date removed], he passed in [date removed] and the love from staff was very comforting. I also have the privilege to do some volunteer work.

We have been here 17 mo. and plan to stay. The PT is very very good. Any minor problems we have has were minor and fixed promptly. Staff and facility very good. The people are friendly and daily services good. We would StoryPoint

Very friendly residents, nice trees, and lovely dining area. It was very warm and inviting. I haven't compared to other facilities so not sure on the value. They have increased prices every year but I'm sure most places have done that.

Danbury has been helpful during a difficult time of transition for my father and our family. [name removed] was an angel. [name removed] is always friendly. [name removed] assited me with professionalism.

Activity coordinator, [name removed] gave our relative a lovely manicure, that brightened her day! Thank you for making this experience part of her week- very appreciated.

The biggest issue for us has been the caregivers. They use an outside company and there is always huge turnovers not only with caregivers but also managers My brother has already suffered an injury due to caregivers not carefully working with him and lifting him by his arm causing him injury to bicep tendon. I would not recommend these caregivers.

Very nice place to live. Wonderful staff. Many activities to participate in. Good location.

The change in company reduced apartment cleaning from 1x weekly to 2x month. And they increased her rent!! So she pays more for less services. Mostly she is satisfied Consistent staff turnover but long term staff are very dedicated. So getting repairs completed in timely manner is an issue at times.

It's a very good place to be and I'm supremely happy. We enjoy the prayer group and movies and singing.

Very friendly and rewarding experience, I feel like this is very much my home all of the staff makes me feel like a very important person, always greeting me as if I'm part of their family.

They do a good job of activities / entertainment. The staff is friendly (most of the them) and we would recommend this community to other families who may need a place for their loved ones

I would recommend IVFS to anyone! Overall our experience was great! Nothing is perfect and we recognize that. However we made the right choice in IVFS and would choose them again if needed. Always clean throughout. Always a pleasant scent throughout. There was never a time where mom's room was not clean. We generally always felt like mom was safe and well taken care of. They quickly learned to love her and loved on her. The reason for the 4 and not 5 is because they weren't always staffed according to their needs. Often the night shift was very light in number of staff which caused concern. As far as cost, can never put a price on care for a loved one. However fortunately for us we had a little bit to get us through the few months ahead was there.

Well I'd say they are were trying to make life easier.
