Very nice place! Everything was bright and open and welcoming. Kim took a lot of time for our questions.

I did do some checking around and the amount that we're paying I presume is reasonable but it's hard to tell. What I like about them is they have an in house rehabilitation nurse or doctor so the care was right there. That was very handy. The grounds are really nicely kept and the food, from what my mother says, is really good. You always get tired of eating the same thing but they have such a variety, it's good.

They're great, it's been wonderful. The activity that he enjoys the most is they have what they call a "mens club" and they get to have a beer (its O'Douls or something like that). He's been over to the regency which is right next door; I guess they get to go when there's a bowling thing or crafts, they've got some sort of connection with them so they get to go over there every once in a while. The staff is top notch, everybody knows his name, they know my name, there's always somebody mulling about and you never have to go and find somebody. When you walk in there's a hallway going to the right, the left and straight in front of you and the end in windows. There's big wide hallways, lots of windows and there's a courtyard they can go to. If I had to choose a place to go to when I got older, just on floorplan, I would chose this place. it has everything a person would need without walking out the door.

Very nice and resonable

At this time I would give them a five. I think the cares been good, they take good care of him, hes clean, hes good, he seems to be in good hands. I stop in to visit and he's always taken care of. They have a lot of activities going on all the time, I would say three or four times a day, they have different activities and they encourage him to participate. He doesn't really particiapte a lot at this point, not because they don't encourage him but he just isn't.

I loved this facility and thought it would be a perfect fit for my mother, but she refused to even visit.

Mom was there for about 2 weeks and then had to go to the hospital and then rehab, so she wasn't there for too long but I can tell you she really loved it for two weeks and then we haven't been there but our desire is to have her be back there. The residents and the people were all very helpful, it was a very positive situation. I think they did a great job, I really don't have anything to complain about. Our was an unusual circumstance, we went there just to go have lunch, she knew someone there and she just really liked it. It all just clicked, we didn't even look anywhere else, it all just fell right together. I guess maybe that's why it's a little harder to rate it. It's not assisted lviing, it's independent, but they have people who can come in and make it more of an assisted living.

we had a very good experience here, my mom wasn't there very long, her health declined to the point where she couldn't be there any longer. The care was very good and they worked very hard to try to accomodate her, but they were very good about letting her out of her lease also. She participated in the sing along a couple of times and in bingo. She basically went in with a chip on her shoulder and left with it, but I thought they were great, they really knocked it out.

My mom doesn't have any care here - she's independent. The activities she's involved in she enjoys very much. She does the bridge and goes to some of the programs like the music programs and movies and things like that. She hasn't gone out or done any of those activites yet. My mom is very, very happy. It's the best move we've made for her. She enjoys the food too. She has no complaints so neither do I.

I'm very happy with it. The price is a little high. I haven't seen much of the care services, myself, but they have a lot of activities. I wish they did a little more hands on stuff with the residents but I guess that's not a part of their program. I do like the program so I can't say anything bad about them. When I found them I had given up. They called me and said they heard I was looking and that was so refreshing. My parents love it.

I'm pleased with it - they're great and the value is good too. Everybody is friendly, the food is good, the service is good and the caretakers are just wonderful. There are all different kind of atcivities but my mother doesn't participate in those so I won't go into that. They're just wonderful!

We LOVED this place! Very bright, cheery, and homelike. The monthly fee is all inclusive (meals, housekeeping, activities). The staff and residents all seemed extremely happy and friendly. A person is allowed to stay in the same room and just add services as needed. Super nice! This is the place for our Mom!

We chose the community because of all the reason we rated above. We just can't say anything bad about Glen Oaks. They really tried hard to make it work for us and still continue to try hard. They are very accommodating. We are pleased with Glen Oaks.

When we were looking for communities we went during dinner time. Most of the communities that we visited the people were just eating there was no talking or anything going on. When we visited Aurora Pond the residents were laughing, talking and just having a good time. It seems like if they were truly happy with being here. The community is really pretty and the studios are very comfortable. I did get a chance to look at a two bedroom and those are very spacious as well. The staff is really friendly and helpful they really show a willingness to help.

The facility was clean, up-to-date. Staff very friendly. Any resident we talked to loved the place--one likened it to living on a cruise ship on land. Apartments were unique and built to accommodate seniors and their safety needs. Had dinner there, the food was good, observed the service was a bit slow--could have been an off-day.

We chose Parkside because it is very nice, clean, and everyone is very friendly. We put our father in-law in the memory care unit so that it would make it easier on our mother in-law and since him moving into the memory care unit it has been a huge relief on our entire family. We are very happy with Parkside and would recommend it to anyone.

We chose The Manor because it is a really clean community. The staff is really friendly and is helpful. I have eaten here with my loved one and the food is really good. Overall the entire community is just terrific. It was the entire package for my loved one. We are very pleased with our decision and would recommend it to anyone.

One great place to live! All the staff really go out of there way to meet the needs of its residents,they are allways friendly,with a smile. The decor is very tasteful and every inich is very clean. Any maintenance issues are resolved quickly.It sets in a almost country like setting with views of lush green grass with trees in the background again all well maintained and groomed. Which is all very nice but the important thing is the care and concern for the tenants.

My wife and I talked with Aurora Ponds sometime back, but it seemed to offer more than what we needed at the time. After my wife died and several friends died at once my daughter and I started looking into places. Aurora Ponds turned out to be the best of all the options. I haven't been involved in the activities yet but they look to be going on.

Great place! Mom wanted first floor, apartment is on third so that is a drawback. View is poor but the place is beautiful. Many amenities you don't find in other places. I would really like to see if financially we could work this out. The close proximity to my home is a plus.
