I have made good friends and find many opportunities to help those who need assistance. The staff is friendly and positive. The food is good with a variety of offerings Apartments are comfortable. Maintenance is excellent. Activities are plentiful, but participation could be better. The executive director is available and quite helpful. The life enrichment team provide activities for residents in Memory Care. The outdoor surroundings are well cared for and there are areas for walking or sitting outside.

Boulder Creek is an excellent facility. While my Mom was only there for a short time, she received very good care. The Administration and Staff were very kind and helpful. While there are always a few hiccups and learning moments throughout the process, everything went smoothly and I was very pleased. I would definitely recommend Boulder Creek to those in need of Assisted Living or Memory Care.

Springvale is a great assisted living home. The Staff is amazing and super kind and gentle. The facilities are very clean and fairly well kept up. The only negative we have with Springvale is the food. It is very institutionalized and not presented in a very nice way to the guest. Often the food lacks seasoning and/or not enough sauces or gravy to make the food taste good. They have good variety of foods, so their menus read as though the foods will be great, however their execution of making the food and presenting it to the guest lets us down each time.

When entered I feel welcomed and encourage to let staff know my needs, daily routines and how they can assist me. They are always willing to give a hug or listen when I'm feeling down as a result. Forest Glen feels like home.

What I like the most about Creekside at Shallowford are the different activities they have for the residents as well as the meals and dining services. I would recommend this community based on the experience I have had so far.

The staff and atmosphere at Ludington Woods is always friendly and welcoming! There are many varied activities planned for the residents. It is fun that some of these activities may be shared with family members. The caregivers keep me up to date with any issues with my family member. They are pleasant to talk with and interact with. The only negative I have is that sometimes when I call it is difficult getting ahold of someone, but once I do I’m happy with the interaction. I love that the facility has an outdoor area for residents. The facility is always clean and bright! The caregivers really seem to care about the residents and know them personally.

The experience has been very good. The only problem we have experienced have been meds and communication between medical and local staff.

The facility and staff are nice and there are plenty of activities provided to keep residents busy. They need to improve on the variety and the taste of the food.

Very nice. Games are fun. We keep busy all day. Meals have been very good. Lots of activities. I have found it to be very activity-oriented. Love it.

I would say that it is a very nice and clean facility. Might be a little pricey for the food quality and choice of activities, but overall it is a fairly good option with friendly staff.

I wanted a complete assistance for my sister who had many difficulties during her 69 years. She has a good but not great experience some of the staff could have more training.

Enjoy daily experiences, having staff to have lunch. Staff are nice & helpful in everything I do. There is always something morning, noon and evening. Would recommend to many of my friends.

Our experience has overall been great. A few not so great experiences were missing bed linen, missing glasses, missing blankets. Bed without bed sheets. Staff is kind, but often on devices.

Everyone has been extremely nice. We have cameras in the room due to my mother-in-law's confusion, and she fell 4 times in the first month there (mostly due to her not asking for help). But the secondary benefit to the cameras was seeing how kind and patient the the staff always was with her. We are having an issue with them sending her to ER frequently for non-urgent issues. She has been sent 4 times in the last 2 weeks. Not sure if there are actually any nurses there who can really assess the residents before just sending to the hospital. My mother-in-law really likes the food- mostly that they always have dessert! They have many activities, and they are very proactive in getting the residents to the activities. It is a very expensive endeavor, (thankful that my in-laws saw the value in purchasing long term care many years ago) but as the family all still work full time it is an option that is best for all involved. She gets the care and assistance she needs, and we have some peace of mind knowing that she has 24/7 assistance/care that it is difficult at best for the family to provide.

My mom didn’t have the greatest experience with the nursing staff. But overall she had a good experience at Danbury. The staff was nice. She made many friends while there. The facility was also affordable compared to others that we looked into at the time.

Food/Dining is not what they profess it to be. The meals are reasonably sized. I thought all 3 meals were included but they are not. For Independent living I only get a continental breakfast which I rarely have, and dinner. Dinner is ok 3 times out of the week. I am disappointed. The location is great. I have 5 cats and they let me bring 5 cats. When my cat population decreases I will probably move. The cost is exorbitant. I pay [fee removed] a month. I'm paying for the location, security, and safety which is all the same thing.

I'm not very familiar with Independence Village since they just recently took over. I have heard that the food is not as good as when [removed] owned/managed the facility. The staff is usually very friendly when I go in and visit my parents.

She has not been happy of late with the meals, which is discouraging.

The staff is wonderful. The facility is very clean. The food is very good most of the time. I would highly recommend Danbury of Cuyahoga Falls to others looking.

We've been here a year. Still haven't gotten over leaving our home. But this is the best place for us now. Meals provided and help if it's needed. Lots of activities and nice friends.
