We're very pleased with how things have gone at Aurora Pond so far! It's an absolutely beautiful facility, and they have a lot to provide the people who live here. The meal service is very good, the food they serve is high quality, and they serve 3 meals a day, including snacks during off-times. They've also got all kinds of different activities and trips outside the facility for things like grocery shopping.

My mom loves her apartment and all of the amenities. It is friendly and comfortable and she feels safe and secure. She enjoys the food that is provided and she is eating better now than when she was on her own and she doesn't get so bored and lonely. Its nice to see her enjoying herself in this new environment.

OMG...Laura is the bomb. What a wonderful person to have on your staff. She is definitely an asset to Senior Star. My mom was having a difficult time moving on to the next stage in her life. Laura came to my home a few days after our tour to see how my mom was. She brought some info she had googled about my mom's cancer and my mother loved loved loved the personal touch that article brought to her. My mom is an independent person. ..she is a pancreatic cancer survivor...yes survivor....because she is a fighter. Although the cancer has returned, Laura saw a gleam in my mother's eye that showed a willingness to survive. We were passing by the dining room at dinner time and my mother met other ladies from Chicago...I had to practically pry my mom away to finish the tour. (I think she might become a social butterfly!) The cookies are awesome! The staff engaging. Clean, airy and nicely decorated. Large enough so during the bad weather my mom could walk inside. Laura invited us to stay for dinner. How awesome is that. She knew all the right things to say and do. Salesperson or not. ..I felt she was very genuine. Food was tasty ...my mom has lost her appetite from the cancer, but she ate everything on her plate!!!!! I was so pleased that my mom is still well enough to make her own decisions and that she choose Senior Star. Laura walked her patiently thru the process. After surgery, the next chapter should go pretty smooth because of the help we got from Laura.

The Vintage Hills at Prairie Trail has been really good. The only complaint we have is about the food. The food use to be really good but they have a different chef now. Everything else has been good. My loved one seems to be comfortable there. The facility is really clean. Everyone is nice. The staff seems to be good. They seem really caring. We don't have any major issues or concerns. The Vintage Hills is nice.

Very impressed with the staff, facility and care options. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We toured with my mother in mind but would gladly move in myself.

I thought it was a very nice community. They had two nice activity centers. I saw a posting while I was there, and they actually have quite a bit of different activities. It is on the pricey side.

It has been great at the Beaverdale Estates. Everything is very well kept and the staff is wonderful! My experience has been positive. I have had no issues so far. This is a nice place.

We toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. This community gave me a really good feeling. What stood out was that people seem more lively and happy, they were more content, it was just a more social environment in general. I saw the residents singing at dinner and having a good time.

We chose Arbor Grove for our loved one. She is adjusting well. They are doing a good job so far.

The Senior Star at Weber Place is very welcoming. Everyone is friendly. The atmosphere is really good. Overall, This is a nice community. Everything has been going pretty good. I would recommend this place.

Mostly positive. My father had an issue with falling asleep during dinner time. They would barge in and wake him up. He did not like that at all. Other than that it has been well. My overall rating of the Spring Meadows Libertyville is 5 stars. I rated all the categories 5 stars, except for the Activities. I rated the activities 4 stars. The activities are great but they don't do a lot of traveling. My father is a Gardner and wants to go to Nursery's but they only take him to the Low's across the street.

So far we are very happy with them. There have been no complaints about the staff, or the food, it's very clean. They are wonderful. We really like it. I would give it a five so far.

Everyone was super helpful helping us convince my mother that this was the right move to the right place. Their follow up has been fantastic and they are doing all they can to help her get acquainted and acclimated to her new home. The food is excellent. Her disposition has improved greatly just in her first week.

We moved Mom into Independence Village one week ago and the facility and the staff have been over the top with support for my Mother and our family. The best decision we have ever made for Mom!! Thank you for guiding us to this wonderful facility!

Staff was caring & considerate of my dad's needs during the 5 months he lived there. It was a safe environment. Friendly people working there as well as those living there.

From the moment we walked in, we were impressed with the cleanliness and welcoming staff and residents. Spring Meadows is bright, open, and upbeat. My folks, who are 90 & 91, are enjoying every aspect of this new adventure. We are so grateful to everyone who have made this transition such a wonderful experience!

It's a very nice facility. She [mom] is being well cared for there. It has a lot of activities. The facility is well kept up. She's getting physical therapy there. They have in house physical therapy. They have a physical therapy assistant that makes rounds two times a week. The other day she needed an x-ray on her leg, and they came in and did the x-ray right in house. She is very well taken care of.

Staff is truly wonderful, caring and so very helpful people. Live as independently as you wish but assisted care is there when and if you need it for a short time or for extended care. Many accommodations to make living there as enjoyable and as carefree as you wish. I just moved my parents there and am actually considering moving in myself.

We dealt with Ellen Niell, very patient, very helpful, every step of the way. So far we love the place. The food is exceptional, staff very friendly, quick response when mom pulls the cord..we were in 2 different facilities prior and really appreciate this place. We are paying for the highest degree of care, incontinence etc....and getting it.

Gorgeous property with many amenities. Management lives on site. Husband and wife Michael & Gabbi spent several hours with us and were extremely attentive and helpful. Residents we met loved living there. Property is beautiful, spacious common areas, lovely well kept grounds. They have raised beds for community gardening and back to a wetland area. Two professional care companies are on-site for medical and occupational needs of residents. Apartments are clean, bright, new, and fresh feeling. Upper floors include balconies. I was very impressed and so far The Marquette is my #1 choice for Dad.
