Carmel Senior Living is a new community with high hopes for servicing its residents and their families with compassion. This month I relocated my mother to Carmel, IN, after being of help to her in an out-of-state, independent facility for five years. Needless to say, it was a difficult parting. The communication between the directors of Carmel Senior Living was admirable and evident when I first entered the building. The executive, move-in, dining, and maintenance directors were very hands-on and available during my four-day stay with my mother. As a director myself in a residence community, I know first hand how important it is for families to witness their own genuine interpersonal communication with the directors of a facility. I extend a sincere thank-you for their efforts.

We're very happy with how things have turned out at Senior Star. The staff here is very attentive to my loved one, and check in on her all the time. They've really gone out of their way to help her settle in, and to make sure she remains happy and content!

We have been very happy with the services at StoryPoint for our mother. We toured all of the facilities in the area and StoryPoint was head and shoulders above the rest. Since moving mom in, we have not been disappointed. The care she receives is excellent and we feel as though she is in very good hands. The building is always clean, they keep her room clean and the food has been very good from what we have seen. Overall a very good experience for us.

At Independence Village of Plymouth the staff are very open to making any activity available that the resident would like. They like to keep the residents happy. The only thing I would change is they have too many staff members that I have to talk to. i would like that stream lined. I would also prefer more e-mail rather than them calling me. Every time I hear the phone ring I think it's an emergency. Other than that everything is going well.

Our experience with Spring Meadows has been a very good one. The facility is clean and well kept, and the staff is friendly and caring. Once we got in touch with them they were a big help throughout the whole process!

Can't say enough about this truly special place. Our family struggled with finding a new home for my Father, not only did StoryPoint help us with the process, they made it it easy! The professionalism, compassion and thoughtfulness is felt from each and every staff member that I have come into contact with, and what's most Important is that my father is happy, relaxed and healthy! Food is a 10, activities are abundant... Facility is immaculate! [removed]

I am not getting a lot of updates from the staff at The Village at Legacy Pointe. I really have to seek them out for that information. The property itself is beautiful. They do physical therapy twice a week so no complaints there. I would like see mom get outside a little more as she has been prone to depression. The staff really relate with mom well and help assure me that everything is normal with her dementia. Overall I am very pleased with everything here.

The staff is tremendously helpful at Independence Village of Avon Lake. They go over and above what they should in dealing with the residents at this facility. They are just really good staff members. I have no complaints here.

We're very pleased overall with The Inn at Cass Lake! It's taken my loved one a little bit to adapt and settle in, but overall it is a very nice place.

They care about their residents. Very clean and upscale facility. Impresive food services and taste is wonderful. Good job on activites also.

The staff was really, really good at The Manor at Steeplechase. They were great through the initial process of moving us in and my dad loves it. The food is very good and the people there are extremely nice.

My parents (95 and 93) are residents as is my 101 year-old Aunt. What a great place! The only thing nicer than what they do for their residents is the way they do it. So friendly and efficient! We are so fortunate to find such warm home for them where we know they get the best of care, food and activities. Dad spends much of his time in their workshop with a couple of other residents making bird houses and feeders, holiday art items, etc... not an activity you find in most such facilities...and exactly what he needs to keep active. My thanks to Tammy and her entire staff... what great people!!!!!!

It is always difficult to put your loved-one’s care into someone else’s hands. With open communication from the Governor’s Village staff and their caring and supportive ways, they helped both our mom and us with this transition. Governor’s Village staff is wonderful! They treat our mom with respect and care for her as if she was their mom. We are so pleased with the activities, comfort, care and open communications from the G.V. staff. We look forward to the opening of the new wing which will bring additional activities for residents and family members. Governor’s Village staff has become my second family. Love them dearly!

So far things are going pretty well. We don't have any major concerns, so far. I haven't heard any complaints over food, or being bored, so things are working out well. We chose them because they were more reasonably priced.

I think they are doing very well. She's only been there two months, but they are attentive and personable and they are very welcoming whenever you come through the door.

I think they are all excellent, all the caregivers, nurses, and staff. They are just wonderful, they know everyone by name and really, really care about the residents and keep us informed about whats going on.

Parkside Court is truly a wonderful place for my parents. Great staff, comfortable living unit, clean facility, great food.

I think they do a great job at Independence Village of Waterstone. The people here are very very friendly, and every member of the staff goes out of their way to be nice to you and learn your name. When I walk down the hall to head to a meal or to an activity everybody I see greets me by name, it's nice!

I wanted to take the time to THANK YOU,my mom was well taken care of.Thanks for all the love you showed her. She is at peace now,but her time there was great. Continue the great work. Once again THANKS

So far i have been impressed with Senior Star at Weber Place. From what I have seen, they are very thorough with everything they do. They did a great job showing us the place and all the programs that they have. We have visited there a few times and are considering placing a loved one there soon.
