I think they do an excellent job at Glen Oaks Alzheimers Care. The staff really went out of their way to help my loved one get settled in and comfortable, and they've done a great job taking care of him. I like that the whole community is focused on memory care, and he's not just in a specialized wing. They're definitely worth a look if you're searching for memory care options in the area!

We came across Glen Oaks through "A Place For Mom". Tara from Glen Oaks was the first person to call me after " A Place For Mom" sent out our information, and that was literally within the hour of getting off the phone with them. We scheduled a tour and were very pleasantly surprised at the flow of the facility. The fact that it specializes in Alzheimer's/Dimentia kind of sealed the deal for us. My Grandma was in a different facility at the time and just wasn't getting the care we'd hoped for. Neglect, filth and loneliness pretty much sums that previous place up. But Glen Oaks has been such a delightful change of pace and reassuring to say the least. There are always activities going on, the staff makes you feel very comfortable and let you know you're not alone in any of this. They also do monthly support groups which have helped my mom immensely and she's only gone to one so far! I definitely recommend this facility to anyone who is at a loss as to where they can take their loved one when Alzheimer's starts taking over. If you're like "where do u even start?" "A Place For Mom" is spectacular as well. Thank you Glen Oaks and all your staff. You have made us very confident in knowing Grandma is safe and being cared for when we can't be there!

Just moved father in law in and love everything about this place. It is like living at a resort.

My family had another place already picked out for my mom, however, I was going to check a few more places to confirm that our first pick was the best. After talking to my advisor, Gail, at Senior Advisor.com and explaining what we were looking for, she gave us the information about Independence Village. She had toured Independence Village and was very enthusiastic about it. We took a tour and were given choices of different rooms and signed up immediately that same day. My mother is very happy with her rooms and with the whole community. She is very glad we were there to help her and to pick such a beautiful place. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

My loved one has only been here a short time, but so far our experience has been a very positive one! She is really enjoying herself here! All of the people are very nice, she's made a lot of new friends, and is enjoying all of the activities they offer. The facility itself is well kept and clean, and Mom really likes her apartment and balcony. The only negative thing I've heard from her is a complaint about the food every now and then.

Our experience with The Fountains has been a positive one, overall. The staff have been very responsive and accommodating in regards to any requests or questions that I've had for them. The facility itself is well kept and clean, and they take good care of the people who live here.

It's been really good. We haven't had any complaints about the maintenance or other residents or anything. We liked the location it's convenient for us. The lady that helped us was extremely knowledgeable, and once we told her what are situation was, she knew exactly what we were looking for, and the services they provide were just what we needed.

We're very pleased with how things have turned out with Beaverdale Estates, it's a very nice place! The staff here is friendly and caring, and I love that the staff learn the names of all the residents and family members! The facility itself is clean and well kept, and they do a great job looking out for the people that live here!

My mother is very happy at the Fountains.

It was very nice. Everyone was very nice. This didn't end up being the best fit for us though, and the memory care was very expensive here. They worked with me on the final bill.

Lots of activities, clean, 2 meals a day. Buttercup is the 1 bedroom unit we like. Can do a no commitment trial stay for a weekend and we could come for dinner with her.

Mom fell in love with the Marquette, and her apartment is just beautiful! She's only been there for 2 days, and has already made friends that have alot in common with her. i can't thank the staff enough for all of their help, they are the best!!! The food is WONDERFUL, and they are VERY family orientated. Thank you so very much for being there, when we needed a place for Mom!

We're very pleased with how things have turned out with The Marquette, it is a very nice place! It's a fairly new facility, and very well appointed in terms of the cleanliness and decor. The staff is accommodating and supportive, and they've been a big help throughout the whole process.

We have not been at the Senior Star at Weber Place facility for very long now, only about a month and a half, but we do not think that we could have found a better place than where we are at right now.

The rooms are clean. The property is a little outdated. My father is in his early 60's and I'm not sure how much longer he will be there. He does not like the fact that there are a lot of old people there. I also like that they are socially active with my father.

The managers are friendly and make an effort to know their residents and family by name. Requests for maintenance are handled in a timely manner as well.

We're very happy with how things have turned out at Danbury, it's a wonderful place! The facility itself is clean and well kept, and the staff is friendly and professional. I've heard nothing but good things from my loved one!

Hands down, this is an amazing place! The care and concern my mother has received has been wonderful. The staff is friendly and caring in addition to very knowledgeable.

Beautiful Assisted Living residence the director was great in responding to all of our questions. Food was great with lots of variety, there are several areas throughout the complex for reflection, games, sunrooms, grand children room, salon...very excited to have our parents experience the vast variety of socialization.

Their cleaning staff is much lighter than they say, they do not do a very good job. She has had to remind people to do things, but that's about it. There are not really too many complaints, they try to take care of everything.
