I have toured many, many senior communities. Storypoint Rockford is at the cutting edge. They are a community not an old folks home. This distinction makes all the difference. Attract surroundings. Complete menu of services and amenities. Highly engaged, passionate staff. Food is awesome. I am currently 57 and am convinced ...based on what I have seen during my multiple visits to Storypoint... that this is where I will want to be... when I enter my golden years.

Full amenities, immaculately clean, restaurant quality food....pair that with a very hands on staff and you have a place I would love to live. Very accessible and convenient to shopping...quick access to downtown Rockford or a 15 minute drive to Grand Rapids

We liked the care that we had here. it was for a short time, The staff were very nice and attentive. The meals were good . They do have activities. This is a go place. And families would like this community for the care and value.

If you are considering moving to an Independent Living retirement community in the Columbus, OH area, you need to visit Powell Senior Living in Powell, Ohio! You won’t go anywhere else. My father is a resident there and could not be more happy! It is such a good feeling to know that he is now in this safe, fun environment with plenty of opportunities to interact with his friendly neighbors. The staff is warm, responsive and caring. The chefs are terrific. Oh, you will love the restaurant/meals. The food is fabulous! And you can eat anytime you want in the dining room 7:00 am - 7:00 pm. Powell Senior Living staff members exude a welcoming, homey feeling as you are greeted coming through the front door. This new community is just gorgeous, with fine finishings and beautiful activity and service spaces. I give Powell Senior Living the highest accolades possible. You’ll love this community!

Thoroughly enjoyed [removed], the accordionist recently. I grew up in a Polish community where we all danced to the polka. He began his performance playing polka tunes which made me teary eyed. Sat next to a gal who knew all the words to all the songs which made it more fun

So far everything is working out great for my father here at this community. It is a nice retirement community, and I'am satisfied with all they have done for us. He is right next to the community my mother is located at, and he can go to visit her whenever he wants too. This community is a nice convenient location for us. All is well for us at this community.

I highly recommend Independence Village! My mother lives there and it is a beautiful place! The staff is nice and attentive. Food is excellent! We have joined the Sunday brunches and they are close to 5 star meals. This is a well run facility with a fantastic staff! They check in on the residents regularly and communicate to the family. We have dealt with everyone from the kitchen staff, the nursing staff, the cleaning crew, the salon, and the front office. Each person has been extremely caring and helpful. The only things that I would change are minor, but I will list them to provide insight. - They could use a larger place on the main floor for activities. They have really talented musicians that perform but the residents are often crowded around the lobby couches. - They could modernize the front desk. Some messages don't get from the night crew to the day crew since they still write notes to one another. - Perhaps they could have two separate dining times. The large tables in the dining room make it difficult for the hard of hearing to communicate while dining. It would be nice to have smaller, more intimate tables. This may also allow for extra space for the entertainment. With a few tweaks they would be perfect! They are really close to perfect as is!

We toured this community and it had a lot to offer. This would have been my second choice for the care and the great staff who answered the questions on the care that is offered. This community gives you a good feeling. And the activities are offered for the residents who want to participate. I would highly recommend this for families to your for good care.

This is a beautiful residence. The people seem very happy and there are so many things that keep the residents busy. The food was very good, Brad did an excellent job of showing us the entire place and explaining all the perks.

I absolutely love this place. It was very difficult to putting husband into memory care but this one fit the will. I am there every day to see my husband, so I think I’m a pretty good observer. From the caretakers to the culinary staff, it is great. The caretakers go beyond the mark. They are caring and professional. I have recommend Story Point to other people.

I have been here 3 yrs. and have found nothing to complain about. Good food, good service.

Very happy here. Staff is kind and helpful. Good variety of activities plus entertainers bought in from other places ; pianists, singers etc, outside activities are also available including trip to doctors officers a nice variety of food is served in the large room by courteous staff. I am truly grateful for all that Story point and its caring employee do for my mother on a daily basis.

[Removed] – new shuttle driver My mom adores the movie offerings called “ live at the met”. The newest saline shuttle driver was so considerate and safety minded when he transported my mom and one other resident last Saturday. He went above and beyond when he excited them into the theater to came right into them at shows end. Thank you [Removed]!!!

This is a great place to live – friendly, helpful people, great food and many activities.

I absolutely love living her! I feel so loved and cared for. The entire staff goes out of their way to help the residents. I am so happy I decided to move here… I never want to leave here!

This is a good place to spend your last years. There are many activities the staff is kind and helpful. The place is clean and like staff works to keep it clean. The menu has many choices.

Two of our church ladies in our ladies circle from church live in this. Our group began meeting in the room in January, February and March so that these ladies do not miss our time together because of dangerous winter weather. The room is an ideal setting for our study and fellowship. Thank you!

My grandma currently lives at the community. She loves living there. We see her making friends on a daily basis, she is very involved in activities, but she also likes to keep to herself. We made the right choice bringing her here. It is also so welcoming and you feel the love from all.
