StoryPoint staff are wonderful! My dad is placed and struggle with anxiety. Staff are loving, nurturing, gentle and patient. Staff stop in Dad's room just to say "hi" to Dad. They engage him and help him to feel relaxed and confident. Staff provide excellent care and Dad is always well cared for physically. He loves the food, too. Dad needs to be busy and staff have gone above and beyond with effort to provide unique activities dad likes. Thx!

My husband has Alzheimer’s . I am caring for him at home. I am currently looking at memory care facilities for the future. I visited Senior Star. I was so impressed. The friendliness, cleanliness & most importantly the care that I saw was extremely comforting.

I just toured your newest facility in Chesterton, IN. I was amazed!! The resident apartments were lovely, spacious and had all the amenities one needs. I liked the idea of the stackable washer and dryers in each resident apartment. The Bistro and dining areas are amazing. I liked that residents could eat when they wanted to and have a great selection on the menu. I wish this facility had been available when my mother was living. As parents age and children live farther away it is nice to have places like StoryPoint for them to live in. I think the one thing we need to emphasize to people is to be prepared for the day they/we can no longer live alone in their/our homes and need to have the finances to move into a facility that gives them/us a safe, secure environment. I especially liked the layout of StoryPoint, it does not give one the feeling they are in an assisted or care facility. Several years ago we placed my mother in an assisted living facility due to her failing health. I was close by so visited often but while at work I knew she was safe and help was nearby if she needed someone. Sadly, there was not a facility like StoryPoint nearby. She did not have the choices that are offered at your facility i.e. food choices so we often had to take food to her as what was offered did not fit in her dietary needs. No one wants to leave the comfort of a home they have lived in for many years so it is imperative that facility have a "home" feel, and yours definitely does. Thank you!!

This is a brand new facility which is filled with competent, friendly staff and great residents who all work together to have clean, comfortable independent living apartments. Complete kitchens and baths for showering. Activities of all sorts makes everyone happy.

My mother has dementia and at times is difficult to deal with. [Name removed] is so very caring, patient and goes above the call of duty to make sure my mother is comfortable and also explains very well to my dad the procedures she is administering to my mother. I could not ask for a better nurse/caregiver for my parents.

Our activity director is so great. She is on it! She does such a great job getting us on outings. Most recently the zoo and Greenfield village! We learned a lot at Greenfield Village. She pushed me in my wheelchair. Cranbrooke is next!

I believe I feel at home here. Team members had a caring attitude during the whole process of my move in.

This is a very active community. We have great events and outings. The staff is very caring. The neighbors I have are now family. We stick together and look out for one another.
