Words can't express how happy I've been with my mother's care and the facility. The facility is very nice, clean, and well kept. The staff is very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. The food is fantastic (mom has gained ten pounds). There are activities scheduled all day that she can take part in, and outings almost every week. Mom is much happier and I know she is being taken care of very well.

All is great here! We have stayed in [room removed] a few times and it is always clean, well supplied, and sweet smelling. Your lobby is pretty and welcoming and the from desk are friendly and happy. My parents, [names removed] love it all here... food and activities are great. The extended family is very happy that Mom and Dad are happy.

I give a round of applause to the team that does our laundry - bedding, bathroom, and kitchen towels. Faithfully early every Thursday the pick up the bag and return it in the afternoon, clean, nicely folded, shrink wrapped, and with new tags on any new items. They do it week after week without fail. Hooray for their dedication and diligence.

Loved this place. The presenter, [name removed], was extremely well prepared, she answered all questions. Beautiful setting, variety of apartments, lots of perks for the buck, friendly. Only reason at least my Mom would not be interested is the distance from me. For me, I want to know they pay their staff well so there is not a high turn over. [Name removed] assured me that that is the case.

Independence Village/Storypoint of Grand Ledge is a great place to live. When I encounter the residents, they are friendly and happy. There is always something happening to keep the residents engaged-whether it be entertainment or games—Keeno seems to be the favorite for Independence Village residents and Bingo is for Storypoint. Staff is always friendly and willing to help out as needed. I would feel very comfortable having my loved one live here at Independence Village/Storypoint of Grand Ledge.

The high school servers are excellent! (Hope for America!) I have a cane- impossible to handle a buffet. A server ([name removed]) VOLUNTEERED to help me! One of the residents mentioned to [name removed] (server) ice cream would taste good on her strawberry shortcake (not asked!) he hurried and got her some. Anyone of these kids would have done the same. Great kids! They come back and visit [name removed]. (Their leader, not their boss. She loves them all).

Of all of the senior facilities I entertain for I find Independence Village at the top of the list! The most crucial thing to me is that the staff (very caring and polite) always take the effort to gather residents to the event.
