Kyle was a wonderful help! He has so much enthusiasm. They have an amazing one of a kind director Jill! She isn't afraid to get her hands dirty. She is happy to get us coffee, too! Kim is fantastic also.

Once you are here you feel like you have died and gone to heaven! The entire staff bends over backwards to help you!

I like living here. The staff are all very helpful and willing to work. The people that live here are very friendly, it's easy to get acquainted.

I really enjoyed my visit. The grounds are very well maintained. Plenty of parking for visitors. It has a very nice reception area. All the people that I talked to were pleasant and informative. The rooms were very nice. The kitchen and dining room were very clean and set up nicely.

My mom loves living here. Shes likes volleyball and happy hour. She especially loves that I love so close.

At 96, I decided to get a cell phone. No land line. With a pace maker I found I needed a land line. Two hours, all ATT and on jitterbug, cheaper. Two weeks now trying to get back the land line. Twice said I had my ATT phone back. No! Now WED Feb 27, We will see. [name removed] helped me. Over, above the call of duty! Hours! Cell phone to ATT; landline to jitterbug - talking to each other! Frustrated beyond measure at ATT. Wonderful lady! (Give her a raise!)

My father moved to Michigan five years ago to be closer to family after my mother’s death. We love having him here. The experience of transitioning to independent living from a home in Oregon was made so much easier when we found Independence Village in Plymouth. [name removed] and the entire staff welcomed him with opens arms, answered all of our questions, listened to his story and made him feel highly valued. And, trust me, my dad does indeed have high value...as do we all. My dad has flourished here. He has many friends, sings in the choir, attends exercise classes, social gatherings and considers his floor a community with the puzzle table being the “town square.” I just love that. His neighbors are fabulous and the vibe is “small town USA.” My dad likes the food, the staff and his home. Town Hall style gatherings are held to get resident input because, as I said, residents are valued. It may not be the newest, slickest, shiniest facility as many are popping up everywhere. We visited some of those when making the choice to live at Independence Village in Plymouth. Everywhere else we went felt like a business transaction or a pre-fabricated lifestyle. At Independence Village dad truly is independent and in charge of his life and how he lives. IVP helped him get into weightlifting and to attend Veterans Honor Flight and more. I would recommend to anyone and everyone looking for a uniquely cozy and friendly residence to tour and experience Independence Village Plymouth.

Very clean and professionally run institution, yet it feels like home.

We are very happy with the New England Club. My father-in-law was having some medical issues and we thought that having a community in which to be apart would be a great asset. Having eyes on him and a comraderie with others would be helpful with his recuperation. He has really thrived here and we have had nothing but positive interactions with everyone from [name removed], to the maintenance staff, to housekeeping to the community members. Everyone has been very nice and accommodating. It is a great place for the older generation! Can't wait to see the updates!

I thought Sunrise of Gahanna was wonderful! The building was beautiful and all the natural sunlight was pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful. The memory care area was very nice. I would say it's the best I have seen and the staff are patient and kind! Most of the memory care units look like a prison and are very depressing. Sunrise was cheerful and had many activities just for memory care residents.

Our company had the pleasure of partnering with StoryPoint Rockford for a tasty educational opportunity. Our nurse [name removed] presented on the topics of: Determining Disease Specific Decline & Dementia: Best Practices in Care Approaches. After the course completion, StoryPoint offered a tour of their community & gourmet dinner for two paired with a bottle of wine to enjoy at home. The meal was absolutely wonderful! My father has been a resident for 4 years. Each time I visit I’m reminded of why this was our best choice for him. The staff is caring, respectful and genuinely friendly. They encourage dad to participate in many social activities which is so important. His fellow residents are so fun to talk to. The tasty meals are served in a beautiful room and the entire place is so clean.

I moved here from another community and just walking into the front door the staff is so welcoming. Everyone knows your name and there is always something to do.

I would give it ten stars if I could. I really love it here. It’s ideal for the life I’ve led.
