My brother and I have been looking for a place for a while now. The team at Waterford really made us feel welcome and that they genuinely cared about where our parents ended up calling home. When the time comes we will definitely be choosing The Waterford at Ames.

My mom moved to Waterford about a year ago after a fall at home. Ever since then Mom has really flourished and come out of her shell! She has made some great friends and loves the activities they do everyday. We can't thank Waterford enough for giving us our mom back!

My friend lived at Independence Village a little over a year. The staff was friendly and caring. She received the care she needed including help with attending activities. The staff also helped her with the care of her dog which made it possible for her to keep her best friend.

[Name removed]'s care team is amazing! They are all compassionate, patient, understanding and positive with my Mom's care. I am extremely happy with [name removed] and her team and most importantly, so is my mom!

I was very resistant to placing my mother in Story Point. I had taken care of her for 7 years. But my mom has done very well there. She is eating better, has friends, and is well taken care of. She loves all nurses and aides, which tells me how wonderful they are to her. They all speak highly of her and she of them. Such a wonderful nursing and aide staff!

It has been well over a year since our father passed away. During the last years of his life he had the good fortune of residing within the caring community of Independence Village. Our family is very grateful for the love, respect and dignity that he was afforded by the many people of IV. We realize it is no easy task to care for and manage all of the various needs within your community. However, we feel that your people rose to the occasion and we are eternally grateful.

My mother in law became a resident in Aug. 2016. This special place was an answer to our prayers. We have felt like family since the first day we walked in to visit this site. All staff members have been gracious and so wonderful to mom. We feel very confident and comfortable with this organization. We loved the site in Petoskey too, where my father was before his death. Would recommend these sites to anyone!!

Probably the best place to go to in Avon Lake. Ut's a very caring facility and lots of activities, clean and the food is good!

When you follow Story Point on FB you will see that they are always doing something to enrich the lives of those who chose to live there. I have been to several events they have for the public, the food is better than any restaurant, kudos to their Chef [name removed].

Since becoming a part of the StoryPoint community, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The staff, especially the care givers, are phenomenal and truly love and care for the residents here. It is very much reciprocated by the residents, who are some of the friendliest people I have ever met. I know I would be completely comfortable with any of my loved ones residing here.

All the staff are friendly people. The food is great and big portions. I like my neighbors and they are great. I really like living here.

Love living here although my family lives out of state. Everyone is so attentive and caring. I’ve never passed by anyone who isn’t smiling and greeting me kindly. It is a very clean and well kept community. I feels like home and we are made to feel like family.

All the help is helpful. Easy access to most things as I live on the first floor courtyard. I love sitting with my friends that I’ve made here at the village.

EVeryone here is always friendly and polite. It is very peaceful for the residents. I find it to be a very clean organized and well run facility.

A fantastic loving and caring staff. I wish I had found them sooner for my mother. I highly recommend them . My mother had been in several places that had not worked out but after finding Independence Village everything was great. These people really care and show a lot of love.
