I'm very pleased with everything. From the food to the kindness of the staff and I love being here!

I love living here, the staff is very polite and helpful. This facility is very clean and smells pleasant. I use to live here with my wife [name removed]. She's now passed on. My children liked this place. So much they wanted me to come back and live out the rest of my days here. I'm familiar with the staff and they are always nice to me And the food is delicious.

We consider ourselves to be very fortunate. We have a very nice apartment, very spacious, very well made, very easy to live in. We have a staff of helpers, all very courteous, very thoughtful, very helpful and willing to help. We receive good food and good support. All very pleasant.

When my husband and I first began to search for a good senior living facility, Story Point stood out immediately. It is brand new and fresh and beautifully appointed. The staff that we first interacted with seemed to care not only that residents feel safe and secure but also that the entire person would be nourished. Our Enrichment Director enriches us with many different activities and programs. Our Director is always available to listen to us and answer our questions and concerns. Each staff does his/her job well. Patience and kindness are a given. We have amenities of every sort such as housecleaning and laundry service. And shall I tell you about the food ?! StoryPoint is a winner on all counts and we feel lucky to have found it.

The residents and staff are so friendly and supportive of one another. They enjoy a variety of activities, including regular happy hours and/or birthday parties with live entertainment. Everyone gets into the celebration. A true community spirit is evident at Independence Village Aurora.

StoryPoint has been a great blessing for us. My Aunt has been living there for about 3 years and has been treated like family since day 1. The management/staff truly care about each individual and go well out of their way to enhance her happiness and safety. Facilities are well maintained and there is a highly responsive team to help with even little things like hanging pictures. Residents have a choice of dining options and a wide range of very tasty, high quality food. As my Aunt's decision making capabilities declined, but before she needed memory care services, the staff helped make sure she selected a balanced diet without making her feel "micromanaged." As for activities, if residents express an interest in something, the management/staff almost always finds a way to make it happen! The variety and quality of available activities continues to amaze me! Critically, management also works hard to keep the costs affordable and to provide input on changing care needs. I could go on and on but the bottom line is StoryPoint Saline is a great place!

In the move from assisted living to memory care my mother was skeptical and hesitant. Thankfully the Independence family made it as helpful and smooth as possible. Everyone from the administration to nurses to daily care providers treated my mother as she was their own--with kindness, dignity, tenderness. They were extremely accommodating to us as her children as we helped in the moving process and worked to make her feel at home and safe and comfortable. My brothers and I are very grateful for all in the Independence Village family. We know that our mother has prompt attention to her physical, emotional, and mental needs. We know she is safe. We are assured that everyone to whom we have entrusted her care has her best interest in mind. We trust that not because that is their job and they are employed, but because we have witnessed that their hearts have a passion and compassion for each resident in their community.

We chose Atria at River Trail because they had a good special going on and the location was great for my sister. The room size that she is in is the next size up from the smallest available and it is adequate for her needs. The communication has been a little hit or miss. I would recommend them to others looking.

My grandma loves living here! I have never seen her happier!

My mom moved into The Manor in late 2019. From the very first visit our we sensed the family atmosphere. No organization is flawless, but the staff and residents at The Manor at Steeplechase have been an exceptional experience.!Without hesitation I would recommend this facility for your loved one..

The phone reception is not very good, But I love it here. I would recommend this community to others. The community is very clean and the staff is very friendly and nice.

We chose StoryPoint Chesterton because it was more convenient for family and also it is a very new facility and it is absolutely beautiful. The other ones we saw were pretty rundown and needed upgrades. The apartment sizes here are on the smaller side for the money. I would recommend them to others looking.

We are very pleased with Independence Village so far. We chose this facility because it was a nicer building than some of the others we looked into. Overall, I would recommend them to others looking.

As a private duty home care provider and licensed PT assistant, I have been in many local facilities. Story Point is at the top of my list. I have been involved in the building for 3 1/2 years and have been welcomed in like a staff member and not just a third party provider. The Laurus Home care director has been a blessing to team with to ensure that all residents have what they need. Building is always spotless and very welcoming environment. Pre-Covid the dining areas were very elegant and I loved having lunch in the Bistro with the residents. As there is no perfect place that I have learned through the years, Story Point is a place I would highly recommend and use for my parents if needed.

I think I made a good choice. A wide range of people and activities.

I enjoy this approach to enable us to interface and learn about others here. [name removed] and her staff have worked very hard to reduce the negatives imposed by COVID. My health has generally been good, thanks to working hard at exercising. My wife and I stayed in Midland after we retired because we enjoyed Midland so much. Have been in Midland 27 years.

My mom has and continues to receive exceptional care from the IVWL team! We're blessed to have them care for her. She feels safe knowing they are helping her.

We are very pleased, impressed, and appreciative of the staff at Independence Village. Our mother truly enjoys living here and we know she is always given great care. We also appreciate all of the extra efforts taken to protect the community from COVID. Thank you!
