It's a great place for any senior to be. They provide additional care services if your loved one needs them. The community is a newer, cleaner place. I would defiantly recommend this community to others

I was able to come to a Sunday brunch (pre Covid) and it was such a pleasant experience! The food was phenomenal, staff was very professional & welcoming, and you could see how much the residents enjoy living at Independence Village! I would highly recommend to my own friends and family.

It been great experience and my grandpa likes it here as well. The staff memebers are nice and respectful. I would recommend to other people

Absolutely satisfied with my stay here. The apt. is really grand and the good is delicious and the people are kind and helpful. Only one problem - there is no chapel and no mass here!

I give presentations about the private lives of historical people. You would be surprised how many facilities do not want to offer this. Independence Village is an exception. They go beyond the normal activities offered to provide an exceptional educational opportunity. They show a great respect for the mind and dignity of each resident. This also allows for increased socialization and a forum to discuss ideas. The Life Enrichment Director has taken the time to invest in new ideas and opportunities for her residents. She has an intellectual openness that is hard to find. Your resident can be challenged intellectually at Independence Village of Aurora. I cannot think of a better place to call home. I have performed regularly at Independence Villages, and all of the residents seem very happy and well taken care of. The dining room and the food looks amazing, the staff always cheerful and professional, looking after all of the residents needs with care. Everyone has a great, professional, caring attitude and they have many activities for the residents to take part in if they choose. I highly recommend IV of Aurora.

I have been thoroughly impressed since the very first day we moved my family member into StoryPoint. We knew it was the right place for her when we saw how the staff interacted with the residents and treated them like family. We have been incredibly happy with her care over the years. She herself has always talked so highly of the caretakers there and feels so safe at StoryPoint that when we take her out for lunch she often wants to return shortly thereafter. We could not be more pleased with the love and care they have given her during her time there. She has mad many special bonds with residents as well as staff. A huge thank you to the Director Kelly Moran and all of the staff there that have made her and all of the other residents feel at home. Thank you!!
