Kudos to the Activity team. The team realized a resident was not doing well when heading outside. [name removed] brought her in and sat her down, realizing she was struggling. [name removed] got the nurse to assist. 911 was called and paramedics arrived quickly to tend to our friend. Their ability to recognize the situation and get prompt help may have saved her. Activities is always there for us.

Everyone there is pretty friendly and helpful. My dad seems to like it there. They do organize a lot of family nights and activities. The building is beautiful, very clean and well kept. My only complaint would be that I don't feel that they encouraged him enough to be social and now he just pretty much stays in his room (although his health has declined and that could be part of the reason)

Corporate group ended some of the things we liked. Like morning check-ins. Also rent went up [fee removed] within 3 months of my mother moving in. Meals were also better the first month she was there. We heard that the head chef left and meals are not as good. Staff is very friendly. Cleanliness is top notch, and the facility is beautiful. My mother is still very happy there despite the downgrades.

Apartments are nice but should have a coat closet. Food portions are very small. My Mom is having a hard time making friends but is trying. She enjoys bingo there. She likes the salon. Would like some more current movies played in the theater which is nice to have there. Friendly dining experience. Overall a nice place.

There is no security between 6:30 and 8pm because nurse at the front desk has to give meds during that time so no one is charge of front desk so anyone can come in or out without anyone knowing. Solution: switch door so it doesn’t open, put sign on door with number and if there is emergency they can call nurse who is giving meds to open door and no one can leave the premises.

The administrative staff went through a major upheaval right after we moved our father there in spring [date removed]. The new staff seemed to be working in the right direction. When the regular nurses were on duty the care was good but when they were off the care was a little more haphazard. The food was not consistent in amount of food.

Very helpful and friendly wait and cook staff in the cafe! Front desk is always staffed with a courteous and friendly attendant. Nursing staff is attentive.

Staff is quick to resolve any issues. Very professional and clean. Best place mom has been! When mom first got there the food was delicious and it was true restaurant dining. They have changed management now and the quality of food has gone down and the service as well in the dining room . I'm hoping they're just working out kinks. They have a great variety of activities really something for everyone.

The food got a 3 because my mom doesn't like it. She is picky. As far as the administrative staff, I didn't mind giving them everything they asked for at all. When we were ready to move my mom in, we had little time to read and sign contract, and provide other information that they forgot to tell us about, which continued to happen for a little while after she moved in. Maybe a checklist would have helped. I eventually got everything to them and they all have been wonderful to work with. They have treated all of my family, my mom and myself great. The staff have been wonderful with her, it's not as pricey as other facilities, has wonderful activities, it's clean and feels comfortable to visit. My mom is in a good place and I feel our family are blessed that you guys recommended them to us.

What we like most about The Enclave is that they ask residents for their feedback and improvement ideas. The very friendly staff always has activities planned for the residents. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families.

The care is very good here. all of the office staff and medical staff and maintenance staff are so nice and help full. The place is clean and family friendly. The bad side is The food is not good and sometimes your meal, after you order it , is forgotten and you have to wave someone down to ask for it. When it comes out its cold, hard and I can not eat it. No taste, same vegetables all the time, no imagination in food choices. Turned in written complaint and suggestion to there food suggestion box. We told Palos Verdes managers about the food and service. Nothing has changed ! Very nice place to live but you will want your family to bring you some eatable food occasionally .

My mom really enjoys the social events & opportunities to mingle with other folks all week long! She feels the food is good, they are just short servers. So sometimes in the dining room a wipe before the meal comes. The place itself is beautiful, very clean & we've even booked family events in common spaces. We booked the theater to have an all family movie day! Again the place itself is wonderful in that regard!

We chose this facility because of what is included in the price and the location is great. It is a very nice facility, the daily calendar has so many things! I think sales staff is great, i know the food vendor changed and it's working it kinks out, i wish the weekend staff was more knowledgeable.

I was very apprehensive about having my mom in a facility but it has been a great experience for my mom and she’s very happy. This makes things so much easier. Knowing she’s not home alone all day and has other people to talk to and do things with has been a game changer.

Enclave at Round Rock is good. At times, very good. My husband likes it a lot. The food is probably the biggest issue, but most of the time it is good but not great. The activities are very good when the staffing is available. There has been turnover and cancellations of scheduled activities, which is really disappointing. Still, this is overall a very caring, friendly place that we both recommend to other potential residents and family members.

We were looking for a place for my wife's 91/90 year old parents where they could stay together and get the support they needed. The facility has met their needs and the people have been very caring and supportive. The nursing director brought in hospice to provide additional support through the six weeks until my father in law passed away recently. He was discharged from the hospital to here. It looks like it will be a good place for my mother in law to continue to live, which was our plan when they moved. The food has been consistently very good, better than the independent living community where they lived previously. The facility seems to be a good size, quite a bit smaller than where they were before. The smaller scale means there are fewer activities, but I don't think that is going to be an issue for her.

We were very pleased when we first moved in and for the first 6-8 months but then they raised their prices quite a bit and some of their practices have been frustrating. *The Senior Home is run by a Corporate office and sometimes the decisions that are made at the corporate level impacts the residents in a negative way. *Staffing has been cut in the food serving areas mostly and also in the desk coverage after 7pm. *We have chosen to stay with our doctors outside of the facility as we have not had good reviews of the GP & foot doctors that come to the facility. *Main thing is the food. The service is slow and they often wait 30-45 minutes to be served. They changed the hours and it still has not helped. They have to go down very early to get served the special for the day and not have to get whatever is left at the end of the dinner time. *They do a great job with activities and games for the residents. The team of people to keep them busy and in community is wonderful! *The nurses are great as well. They take very good care of mom and make sure she has what she needs and communicates with me often to keep me in the loop. Very grateful for that. *We also have been grateful for the opportunity to use the central areas and also private rooms for some family events. We are grateful she is being well cared for but these items above frustrate Mom so they frustrate us. Wish for a little more communication from the management to the families of the residents so we can stay updated on the various changes.

My mother has been at this facility for 3 months. So far, She enjoys the meals. The rooms are very large. The layout of each room is very comfortable. Each room has a deck with a good view. My mother's only complaint is with the heating system. She thinks it is a bit chilly. The staff have been very responsive in assisted living And have been very responsive to my mother's concerns. Payment has been easy and is very competitive for the area.

Yes, she would recommend. There seems to be a shortage of staff at times. We were attracted to them because of [name removed] salesman, the beautiful layout both in and outside of the facility and the price.
