Spectrum Retirement

My aunt is currently staying there. I would have to say the one argument was that the room that she's in is very very small and my uncle has asked to be moved to a larger room, but unfortunately, the memory care area does not have a bigger room at this time. I think we had hoped we would've been told that beforehand so we may have chosen a different place. The other item is, I would say that for the number of memory care people the staff is very small.

The facility is well maintained. The staff is very attentive and kind. There are 3 sizes of apartments. My mom.is in a spacious 2 bedroom/2 bath. Amenities is why I gave a 4. There are some things to do, but not a lot of variety.

You’d be hard pressed to find better, more caring staff for your loved one than those who work at Peakview. The kind front desk and nursing staff make Peakview what it is. There’s unfortunately been a lot of management and kitchen staff turnover in the 2 1/2 years my dad has lived at Peakview, and hoping things will settle down now. But the people my dad and I interact with on a daily basis are the best and show how much they care for the residents by their warmth and friendliness. We greatly appreciate all they do.

There has been some discrepancies in what was stated at our original tour vs reality.

My mother is in memory care and the staff there are good to work and demonstrate a caring behavior towards the residents. If I bring up an issue they address it immediately, which awesome. They food appears to be very. My mother likes the variety they serve each day as well. Overall the memory care is a much more restricted environment due the needs the residents. The assisted living is very nice as well. They really care about their residents with many different activities each day. Memory care area they do a variety of games each day to help residents there work on their thinking and motor skills. They also have snacks each afternoon which everyone enjoys.

I highly recommend Green Oaks. They've had some glitches, but over all it is a really nice place with nice people. They always seem to have a fun activity going on. The place is beautiful.

We are very happy with this administrative staff. The aids are pretty good, but could be a little friendlier. The food is really a hit or a miss according to my in-laws, mostly a miss. Our biggest complaint is when they assess them They put them at a really high level, but I don't believe the cost is worth it. Maybe bigger than that complaint is if they are not able to go down to get meals they charge you a five dollar fee to have it delivered and a fee even if you go down to pick it up to go. In my opinion, it is too expensive for the quality of the food.

The people were friendly and the medical staff was very helpful and flexible in their level of care during the last month of my mom's life.

The activities are varied and vary according to interest and ability. The menus options are excellent. Management make a real effort to listen and interact. Housekeeping does an excellent job of keeping the interiors clean.

Overall, I was very happy with the Three Oaks facility. The staff was lovely and I thought it was very clean and well taken care of. My only complaint is that they do not meet adequate staffing requirements per person. Many times the ladies only had two people on the floor for a shift. three is the required minimum for the amount of people in that section. I did discuss this with the administrative staff and they tried to say that it only happened when people called in sick. But I was told by staff that there are people that they can call in that are on call that can fill-in in situations like this. It's not safe for the residence and does not meet the level of care they advertise.

It is a nice facility, but corporate is not letting local management take care of local problems. It is difficult to see the whole picture until you move in. Facility maintenance is a problem at this facility. Right now there are several units with malfunctioning air condition units. The ice machine was out for over 3 weeks. Made problems in kitchen services.

The staff is very friendly. They always call you by name. The food is better than I experienced at my last community. The activities don't generally appeal to me.

The staff at Crestview has been very helpful to my mom. She loves going to the gym, watching movies and meeting new people. The only complaint has been some of the food.

The administration staff turns over frequently. There isn't enough care staff. Yes, we would probably recommend Peakview Assisted Living and Memory Care to other families.

I would recommend. My dad enjoys the activities and has made many friends there. The food service has room for improvement, but overall it's been a great experience.

We were very happy with Peakview overall. I don't believe you could find one better as all facilities have flaws. I really liked the atmosphere of the dining area. We put a baby monitor into my mom's room so I was able to pull up a view of her room on my phone at anytime which really helped me see how the staff was interacting with my mom. It also kept them on their best behavior.

Overall we're very satisfied and except for the food (which they are working to improve) I'd say we're quite happy with Crestview. We feel very comfortable with our mom there. The staff is attentive the facility is clean and smells good (big deal cause some we toured did not smell good). The food is not great every day but they ask the residents for feedback and are making changes for the better. Still have work to do but they realize that they need to get better. The activity schedule is pretty good-my mom actually has been joining in and having fun. They offer some transportation to appointments. I wish they would be a little more flexible but it's ok. We are pretty happy with things there and my mom is happy. That's the best part.

Las Soleras is immaculately clean! The staff is warm and helpful! My mother moved in. And it went well. They're responsive to her concerns and she is VERY comfortable in her new apartment.

Make sure they explain the medication/pharmacy process well... either they didn't explain it to us or I wasn't listening… But we had a misunderstanding early-on until we figured out exactly how it works.

Very understaffed and rude executive director. What staff they do have are friendly and caring. [name removed] the sales director is very helpful, caring and up best. Our loved one who resides there in the memory care really likes the staff and food. If you use this review please post as anonymous.
