Security at the front door can be improved. The room cleaning was average at best. Possibly more activities for more at risk seniors. . In general, I would recommend the facility. Its beautiful. The rooms are very large. Beautiful location. Good good menu.

All of the staff were very personable and caring. We had looked at a few other facilities and what drew us to Adventura was the homey feel, the friendliness of staff and residents alike. We felt the smaller size would be less intimidating to my mom. She was happy there.

[name removed] at the front desk is absolutely wonderful. My Mom loves the activities director and the art activities! Can't seem to keep kitchen staff, seem to be short staffed.

Very comfortable but the price of the building is not worth the services and they charge too much and the food isn’t very good but the employees are friends and nice and the care service is a 4/5 and that is the review

My mom has been at The Oaks in Algonquin for the last month. Both mom and I have found the staff very kind and caring. The administrative staff we have met with are very knowledgeable and supportive. Mom enjoys the variety of foods at the lovely restaurants. She has even started creating great art projects with the hard working creative director. The biggest concern for any daughter is that your mom is being cared for with kindness and compassion. The Oaks really delivers on this front. It is a beautiful place to live and be looked after when you need extra support. Thank you to the lovely staff for taking care of her in such a nurturing way.

They had a big staff change in memory care dept a week after we moved in. Positions were not filled promptly Communication is poor. Maint dept not responsive New people joining staff now Hopefully improvements ahead

We give Palos Verde an overall 4. The facility is beautiful and well kept. The staff was very caring. In our situation most of the family was out of state with one member local. Those of us out of state initially struggled to communicate with staff when we left phone messages. We did find questions and issues were better addressed with email communication. Mom did have very limited mobility and energy when she moved into the community and did not partake many of the activities. But the staff certainly tried to get her involved.

My mother has been a resident for over a year and loves it! The staff is caring, attentive and experienced. The apartments are very nice and perfect for her needs. The building, grounds and restaurant are well maintained. We've found it impressive that there is continual compliance to fire drills, etc. for the safety of the residence. Brings peace of mind in many ways. It would take perfection for us to agree on 5 stars here; however, 4.75 stars is pretty darn fantastic. Three Oaks is a very special place.

My wife has never complained about anything. Which makes me very happy. Nice area to walk inside the facility, windows to a courtyard with trees, grass and chairs to sit if desired. I have not been there for a meal. Apartment size is excellent.

My favorite part of this community is waking up to the wonderful staff. I have made some wonderful friends. The activities are great and the connections made are something i will always carry with me

The staff here can’t be beat. Everyone is so nice and helpful. It is so much fun to meet all the other residents and get to know them. They all become part of your extended family. The rooms are kept extremely clean and there is plenty of activities for the residents. Our mom is 100 years old and we feel that she is very safe and loved here. We visited a number of other facilities and this one was by far our favorite.

What we like the most about the community is that the people are friendly. The price seems reasonable. and the maintenance staff is responsive. There is a good amount of activities and diversity of activities.

I have lived here about 8months. I have met many nice people and have made many new friends. If I couldn’t stay home alone this is the place to be! I enjoy doing puzzles, playing bingo, and just having people to chat with.

I have been a resident for over 6 years. I have seen a lot of changes. I have experienced many changes over the years especially with food. In the past several months it has improved greatly!!! The waiting time for food has improved. I feel that there are many folks that just want to complain to complain. They are just not patient to wait for a few minutes.

Crestview Senior Living is a small and friendly community with lots of daily activities to choose from. Yes, we would absolutely recommend this community to other families based on the experience.

I love our new home and the staff is superb. People are friendly too. The food is not great and the service seems somewhat disorganized. We are looking forward to participating in the many activities as soon as we get unpacked and settled in. There are a lot of them to choose from.

Like - quiet & grounds Improve - food and communication w residents I think I would recommend the Aventura at Overland Park community to other families, probably a 3.5 out of 5.

The staff is amazing. From the front desk, restaurant staff, entertainment staff and nurse staff. Very attentive and kind to my mom. I only checked out the studios but we chose the smaller one and it is great. Roomy and clean. My mom has had issues with the drain in her bathroom and it's been a pain to get fixed. But I know there is only one maintenance guy and he's a bit overwhelmed. Amenities are good. They wash her sheets, clothes once a week. Clean her place. They have rides to different grocery stores weekly along with restaurants.

We picked this community because; Tour - had a pool, heated, seating along hallways, decor seemed refreshed, clean, Amiable personnel. Was close to her preferred hospital.
