My mom really enjoys the social events & opportunities to mingle with other folks all week long! She feels the food is good, they are just short servers. So sometimes in the dining room a wipe before the meal comes. The place itself is beautiful, very clean & we've even booked family events in common spaces. We booked the theater to have an all family movie day! Again the place itself is wonderful in that regard!

We chose this facility because of what is included in the price and the location is great. It is a very nice facility, the daily calendar has so many things! I think sales staff is great, i know the food vendor changed and it's working it kinks out, i wish the weekend staff was more knowledgeable.

I was very apprehensive about having my mom in a facility but it has been a great experience for my mom and she’s very happy. This makes things so much easier. Knowing she’s not home alone all day and has other people to talk to and do things with has been a game changer.

I think people need to know that there are nurses in the building for assistance.

Enclave at Round Rock is good. At times, very good. My husband likes it a lot. The food is probably the biggest issue, but most of the time it is good but not great. The activities are very good when the staffing is available. There has been turnover and cancellations of scheduled activities, which is really disappointing. Still, this is overall a very caring, friendly place that we both recommend to other potential residents and family members.

We were looking for a place for my wife's 91/90 year old parents where they could stay together and get the support they needed. The facility has met their needs and the people have been very caring and supportive. The nursing director brought in hospice to provide additional support through the six weeks until my father in law passed away recently. He was discharged from the hospital to here. It looks like it will be a good place for my mother in law to continue to live, which was our plan when they moved. The food has been consistently very good, better than the independent living community where they lived previously. The facility seems to be a good size, quite a bit smaller than where they were before. The smaller scale means there are fewer activities, but I don't think that is going to be an issue for her.

We were very pleased when we first moved in and for the first 6-8 months but then they raised their prices quite a bit and some of their practices have been frustrating. *The Senior Home is run by a Corporate office and sometimes the decisions that are made at the corporate level impacts the residents in a negative way. *Staffing has been cut in the food serving areas mostly and also in the desk coverage after 7pm. *We have chosen to stay with our doctors outside of the facility as we have not had good reviews of the GP & foot doctors that come to the facility. *Main thing is the food. The service is slow and they often wait 30-45 minutes to be served. They changed the hours and it still has not helped. They have to go down very early to get served the special for the day and not have to get whatever is left at the end of the dinner time. *They do a great job with activities and games for the residents. The team of people to keep them busy and in community is wonderful! *The nurses are great as well. They take very good care of mom and make sure she has what she needs and communicates with me often to keep me in the loop. Very grateful for that. *We also have been grateful for the opportunity to use the central areas and also private rooms for some family events. We are grateful she is being well cared for but these items above frustrate Mom so they frustrate us. Wish for a little more communication from the management to the families of the residents so we can stay updated on the various changes.

My mother has been at this facility for 3 months. So far, She enjoys the meals. The rooms are very large. The layout of each room is very comfortable. Each room has a deck with a good view. My mother's only complaint is with the heating system. She thinks it is a bit chilly. The staff have been very responsive in assisted living And have been very responsive to my mother's concerns. Payment has been easy and is very competitive for the area.

Yes, she would recommend. There seems to be a shortage of staff at times. We were attracted to them because of [name removed] salesman, the beautiful layout both in and outside of the facility and the price.

The team does a great job, the facility is beautiful. ??The "additional services" are very expensive?The Pharmacy option is very expensive

Communication could be way better. Would be nice if there was a family portal like in daycares or an informational website for families to see daily schedules, etc. Otherwise seems to be well run

Facility is beautiful and we were able to secure an apt for sister-in-law when her previous facility closed. Spoke to the director and marketing person and proceeded with move. Medical coordinator came to evaluate sister-in-law in current setting which was very convenient. All paperwork signed. The move itself was to be 3 weeks later and no contact from Enclave except to say payment needed the day before move. There was a new director and never saw marketing again. Actual move-in day went well and stay ready for us.

We want to acknowledge the Activities team for their work making the holiday season enjoyable. From the many carolers to the fun socials, crafting, going to see lights and more, it was a festive season. We appreciate their team.

I would recommend to others! It is close to everything my mother needs-hospital, doctors, pharmacy, grocery, etc. The facility was clean and décor was nice.

As expected it took some time for staff to get to know my mom so they could express her needs. Overall a good experience. Communication in the beginning was a little slow but once we got to know everyone that went better. Staff was friendly and seemed to care. Overall a good experience. The facility was clean and well kept. I would recommend Highpointe assisted living and memory care.

Meals/dining are extra - it doesn't even come with her high rent cost. The cost is too high for not getting any extras.

Very friendly, supportive, and caring staff… from the management to the staff workers to the care givers. I would recommend a bit more specialized caregiving techniques to patients with more challenging behaviors: ie, continually getting up and down from the chair and/or bed (not being able to settle).

It is very clean. They could improve on the consistency of care. I would caution people to look carefully regarding any assisted living facility.

Rent has increased 10% each year which is not sustainable management has poor communication

My father has lived at Shawnee Hills for about two months and it has been an overall positive experience. The facility is clean, bright and there are lots of activities for residents to participate in. The food service could be better. Most of the time my dad is satisfied with his meals, but sometimes he has to wait a long time before he gets served and couple of times he’s said his food was cold. The physical and occupational therapy staff are great. My father’s mobility has improved since he has been working with them. I would recommend Shawnee Hills!
