we are extremely happy with Palmilla. My parents are very happy with food, care, and enjoy the friendliness of the all staff. The staff have been great answering any questions we may have. I feel I can ask for help from anyone. From the nurse director to the care staff. The kitchen staff are very nice. I am very happy we made this move, I feel at ease knowing my parents are safe and taken care.

The rooms are quite well appointed. Lots of activities. I looked a lot places and this was the best!

There is honestly just too much to say about the Lombard Place Assisted Living and Memory Care. Overall, I would have to say that it is a fine facility for my loved one, but the activities are a little lacking.

We are pleased with everything at Peakview. It is a brand new facility so everything is very nice and clean. We are very impressed with the food and the service our parent is receiving. The folks there have been extremely pleasant which helps in any transition. They have bingo and plenty of other activities to do - with more planned. It has definitely been a positive move having her here.

Gardens at Ocotillo Senior Living is expensive. The food in general could be better in my opinion. Other than that things are going pretty well. It has been a good experience. The facility is clean. The staff is friendly here.

Our experience with Park Meadows has been a very good one! The staff here is very welcoming, they've got a great activities program, and the facility is always clean and well kept. They also do a great job with the food, it is high quality and there are always lots of choices. I highly recommend Park Meadows!

The management and AL staff are amazing. I have immediate access and response to any concerns from the AL Director. It is very comforting to solve issues together. All staff from dining to Resident Aides to management, care deeply and personally about my loved one. They make me confide t knowing we're giving care together.

Beautiful new facility, Shirley was very hospitable and helpful. Unfortunately, it is in a very urban area with little or no greenspace, and little farther from me to get to quickly. Apts have W/D, a big plus, med management is an additional $450 per month although Rates per month for the apts are reasonable for this area. Memory care avail.

We have had a very good experience with Gardens at Ocotillo Senior Living . In general, everybody is very welcoming and very friendly. The staff makes of point to not only get to know the resident, but also their family members. Every time I visit I am greeted by all the staff members by name. And it shows that they really do care about about the residents.

Overall it's been a good experience at Crestview Senior Living. I would like to see them have more instructional activities. Other than that the staff are nice. Everything is going well really. We like the facility.

I had narrowed the search for assisted/independent living down to a few places that included Park Meadows before we visited in order to make the choice easier for my mother. It really came down to where she felt most comfortable and where I felt confident that she would receive the best care. We decided on independent living, with the help of the Park Meadows sales advisor, but a later transition to assisted living is easy to do there. Mom likes all the people there, employees and residents alike. The apartments and the recently remodeled common areas are some of the best we visited. She enjoys the food and is participating in activities, which is something we were not sure she would do. My biggest complaint is that she has never had any sort of formal orientation and she has been a resident for one month. But at 92, I'm not sure she would remember a large amount of information all at once.

I have been in hundreds of retirement facilities as a paramedic and later an an RN and can say that most (by far) depress the Hell out of me. However, I first began spending time (a few times a yr) at Homestead as an instructor (Health Occ) in 2011, and today I spent many hours there as a vendor for their yearly health fair. I was really impressed as I witnessed the loving relationships between the staff and residents, as well as between the residents. I'm not painting a picture of a gaggle of giddy - cuddling people but one of really knowing each other and knowing who wants the energetic-affectionate interactions and also respecting the space others desire/require. It's a CLEAN, peaceful and pleasant environment that provides as much social interaction as one chooses to enjoy.

At Creve Coeur Assisted Living a lot of the residents seem to like it very well. This facility has only been open since January and it's already full. I have a life long friend that is my neighbor here. That is really nice to have people I know living around me. Overall it has been a great experience so far.

My mother loves it. We moved her to Palos Verdes from Florida. The social aspect of living in a community has done wonders for her. The staff has been very helpful and very considerate of the residents living there. She does complain about the food but they seem to be working with her on that. My mother was a very good cook and spent hours in the kitchen. She takes her own little mixture of spices to dress up her meals thou. So far so good. it has been 6 weeks now and she is settling in with her friends now.

They have done very well at trying to accommodate my father who has Alzheimer and keeping him within the assisted living part of the facility. But they are moving him to the memory care now because it is beginning to cost too much.

The staff at Palos Verdes Senior Living, just everybody from administrative to the nursing staff and all the caregivers, were all excellent. They are very flexible with us and very accommodating to all of our needs.

This is the only place that I looked at, that was honest with me. They are the only ones that weren't so desperate to fill a bed, so as to lie about being able to provide care they couldn't. They told me what we needed was long term care. We chose one of the other assisted living places that said they could handle the care, only to find out they couldn't. We needed long term care. I appreciated the honesty, and should have seen that as a red flag.

My Father has lived at Crestview for 2 years. He loves it. He has made a great number of friends and enjoys several of the social events that are offered. The facility is spotless and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Dad has commented that he has not had a meal that he has not enjoyed. Crestview has been everything that we could have wanted or expected.

My mother moved to Crestview 16 months ago. She was living alone and was pretty isolated. At first all she talked about was getting back to her home. Within 3 months she was happy as can be. Wonderful friends,staff,activities and a building made for a senior center-not a retro -fit. They also have free driver service for short errands and doctors. The staff is great and if one needs a bit more care the is an independent nursing group on site. They have a Friday happy hour,Sunday mystery bus tours,computer classes and a small exercise room all included in the monthly fee! She pays about 3100 per month for a 1 bedroom. They have studios for about 2500 and larger 2 beedroom unitsalso. I looked at over 10 places and felt this was the best value. They have activities all day .You can have a pet and some people still drive. All in all a 5!! Check it out.

The Lincoln Meadows Senior living needs an orientation for those residents that do not hear. They have orientation but they should be able to accommodate those with hearing problems. That would be my only complaint. Otherwise we are very satisfied with the facility.
