From what I've seen, the apartments are clean, and everything is modern and current. The décor isn't dated. The staff that I've interacted with do what they say, and say what they do. Which on the outside not being able to go in to visit yet is important to me. Hopefully by the end of the year we'll be able to go inside to visit and hang out. My loved one raves about the food. The quality and variety are good. It's nice that even though she's not cooking anymore, she still has a kitchen in her apartment. When she goes to dinner, she puts nicer clothes on, and the tables are set with real linens. So it feels nicer than a normal fast food or sit-down restaurant. The value is great. We were lucky to get a three-year locked rate that was much better than other places we looked at that were not nearly as nice.

We chose The Enclave because it is a newer, cleaner facility and there is cap on the care price and no al a cart pricing. My aunt is loving the food, but they could use a little more variety with breakfast. I have heard the activities are great even though my aunt doesn't get involved in them. They have recently started letting us in to visit with her which has been nice. But when I went in a few weeks ago, they had not put any of the new sheets that I had bought her from Christmas time, her laundry basket was missing, and she was laying on plastic so there have been some issues. I would tell others to make sure that you put your loved ones name and room number on their possessions. Overall they are awesome in a lot of ways and I would recommend to others who are looking.

[name removed] was a great tour guide for Palos Verdes. My friend and I felt very welcomed. She and [name removed] even fed us a delicious lunch. We hope to see more of them.

New facility with lovely grounds and a super staff! As new residents (3 months) in Independent Living, my husband and I are so impressed with the friendly and professional team members. They are warm, respectful, and eager to provide the best service and comfort for all residents. Current residents are sociable and welcoming, making this a truly special place to call home.

My Wife and I were looking for a safe, secure 55+ community not too far from where I work. My Wife found out about Las Palomas from a new found friend. We were totally blown when we went for the tour of this new, pet friendly community. The main complex is elegant with every amenity that one could need. Staff goes out of their way to be sure every need is met while being professional and courteous. The dining room feels more like a five diamond restaurant. The activities are endless with many options for the active senior. This neighborhood is safe with many nearby shopping areas. Las Palomas is set on a beautifully landscaped property with views of nearby mountains which we can view from our front porch. At night, the sky is full of stars because it is away from the downtown Mesa area. We were lucky enough to have moved into one of six casitas. These casitas are just like being at home without the worries. Large rooms with high ceilings, a magnificent kitchen with stainless appliances (sink, stove, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator with ice maker), granite countertops and plenty of cabinet space. The Master bedroom is huge with a full ensuite bath and large walk in closet. A second bedroom also has a walkin closet, access to a back patio and second full bath. Every room has natural light from the many windows and the living room is unbelievable. It has plenty of floor & wall space with a vaulted ceiling. There is a gas fireplace, with large hearth and mantel which is all surrounded by with stone, floor to ceiling. The dining room is connected to the living room area but remains spacious enough for when the family comes to visit. There is a garage complete with remote control door, plenty room for storage and an additional covered parking spot near by. Affordably priced with gas, electric, water, basic plus Cox cable (hookups provided with mini boxes in three rooms), garbage pickup (receptacles provided) and your choice of meal plans to add to the provided breakfast. All of this spells HOME and our home is here at Las Palomas.

Everyone is so friendly and kind even the new hires. The location is great because I live close to family. The activities are great and I go to most of them. I am not moving from The Enclave!

Very friendly and thorough tour Especially in time of covid

This is a lovely facility. [name removed] worked diligently by email & phone to provide extensive views of potential apartments for my 95 year old mother. When some restrictions lifted (this is during Covid) [name removed] met with me in person and spent generous amounts of time showing me options. I highly recommend the service provided to prospective residents and their families!

Mountain Park was highly recommended by a close friend whose grandmother lived in their memory care section for 9 years. When we contacted Mountain Park for our mother, who could no longer live alone, the staff were so helpful in guiding us through the process, especially [name removed]. We were able to make the plans for our mother's transition over a couple of months and smoothly move her into the assisted living area. Our mother loves Mountain Park, the grounds, public areas and her studio which looks out on lovely blooming trees with South Mountain in the distance. We couldn't be happier because our mother is happy and we are confident in the staff's support and concern that has been so graciously and generously extended to us as we went through this process! Thank you to all the staff!

[name removed]has been a great help to our family. She has been patient and informative, answering as many questions as were asked of her. My father has recently gone thru a good amount of stress and the care that has been given to him with understanding has been greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend the wonderful service, facility and thoughtful team members that Palos Senior Care has to offer

My Dad was the first new move in resident since the Covid shutdown. It was a difficult process as everyone had to figure out the best way to make this happen and keep everyone safe. We were very happy with the cooperation and communication from Mountain Park, particularly [name removed] and [name removed], to keep this effort going and on track. Eventually, Dad was able to move and get settled. Mountain Park helped every step of the way. We are very happy Dad is at Mountain Park and will be there for a very long time.

I like eggs, just not seven days a week. But that is okay because I just this week was told I can custom order. So, you lost half a star due to my ignorance. Finally, it is amazing how each and ALL of you guys can appear so happy and cheerful among a gang of cranky old folks! How management could find so many employees w/one personality.

The overall staff is very friendly. We feel very comfortable with the care our mother is getting there. The food is good. The room sizes are average. My mom is in memory care. They have a secured patio area.

I am not all the great at writing, but A Place for Mom deserves this review. [Name removed] was beyond wonderful. She gave great advice and guidance. Periodically she would call to check in and see how she could assist. She was always available, and yet never intrusive or pushy. [Name removed] made our search easier, that is not to say it was easy. There were so many variables and obstacles trying to find a place for our parents. The biggest obstacle were generally our parents. Our parents have lived at Las Paloma’s Senior Living for almost two months. There was an adjustment period as they didn’t really want to move. They mostly realized they needed assistance but one of them was in denial. The staff is beyond comparison. Every encounter with any and all staff has been wonderful, from the smallest question, to urgently needing assistance. I feel like these are the best people in the business. All the Residents we have encountered, either in Independent or Assisted Living are kind and caring. As Las Paloma’s is only about a year old, everyone is in the same boat. Our parents were quickly welcomed into the fold. They were invited by others to activities and social events. It seems the Residents want no person to feel alone or lost. I am still amazed by the warmth of this community. We ran into a health problem with one of our parents. The staff quickly managed events and kept us informed. Recently one parent needed to go to the hospital. The RN contacted the hospital and made all the arrangements. By the time we arrived at the Emergency Department, they were ready for us. I am glad to report our parent got the immediate attention and follow-up care that is needed. Our loved one is doing better. Medications were adjusted and therapy is ongoing. The hospital has kept us informed. Las Palomas has worked with us and has given our other parent even more TLC and care. I didn’t think that was even possible. We are hoping our parent will be returning to Las Paloma’s soon. I have complete confidence in Las Paloma’s. For the first time in a year or more, I believe our parents are safe and their needs are being met. If pressed, I could not think of one negative comment, either about A Place for Mom, nor about Las Paloma’s Senior Living.

Dad is finally satisfied. He tended to complain, more often than not, about his previous community in Scottsdale. Since moving to The Legacy in Gilbert , dad has commented several times about how much he enjoys the staff, the other residents, and especially the food. Dad can be a bit "hard to please", but from the first day he moved into The Legacy, he's been content. Thank you, it's made all of our lives easier, and we're happy that dad has found such a great home.

My mother is in her mid-90's and after several years of in-home care through an agency that specialized in dementia care, her condition deteriorated to a point that staying at home was no longer safe or practical. Fortunately, close by my house was a relatively new facility that specialized in memory care (Lone Mountain Memory Care). The facility was great with spacious private rooms and bright, airy common areas. I think the size and capacity of the home was just the right balance of scale to provide the desired range of services and activities, but small enough to ensure a personal relationship with each resident. Very important to my mother's care was the nursing availability available at Lone Mountain. My mother has been a resident for 8 months and except for the normal and expected adjustment issues has fared really well. No doubt in my mind that her stay at Lone Mountain Memory Care has extended her life. While others may have different personal circumstance and opinions regarding Lone Mountain Memory Care, having been experienced in a number of different dementia care giving situations including facilities and home care, I would without hesitation recommend Lone Mountain Memory Care for your loved ones. One final note. While personal turnover is unfortunately a part of this industry, Lone Mountain has maintained a core staff of dedicated and caring associates at all levels. Over the course of ten months, I have gotten to know most of them and very much appreciate their support and dedication to the residents and their families. It is not an easy job and for the most part they perform very, very will.

Mom is now at the Enclave at Cedar Park and we all are loving it! We tried placing mom in two other facilities last year but neither was a long term solution. I love that we found the Enclave and she’s been there almost 3 months now and is beginning to call it home. The food is delicious, the activities are plentiful and fun, the care is top-notch. Can’t say enough great things about the staff and the care. I enjoy spending time there too!
