Although it has been less than a week since we moved our aunt to Cedar Lake, we are very happy and satisfied with our decision.. In all honesty, Cedar Lake was my first and only choice for an assisted living facility. [Name removed] made such a great impression on us, I knew I could stop looking. There was no bait and switch and no surprises. What they promised is exactly what happened. Prices for services are all honestly quoted up front. The sincerity and concern for the well-being of their residents is a priority. The facility is beautiful, the employees are all friendly and the dining room could be comparable to the Ritz Carlton. The daily list of activities are incredible, with a great variety of interests. My aunt’s apartment is a perfect size. She has a den, living room, bedroom, extra-large walk-in closet, MBR, and small galley kitchen. Our move had to be done quickly as my aunt could no longer safely live alone. [Name removed] provided constant communication, answered all of our questions and expediated the process when we ran into problems. I especially liked the full service senior moving company (Paxem) that provided a customized floor plan for her furniture and expert Packers and movers that within 6 hours we had an HGTV reveal for my aunt. The consideration of [name removed] and his staff for my aunt and us, during a very difficult and stressful time will never be forgotten and will always be appreciated. We are so happy with our choice.

“There's No Place Like Home” Do you remember those words that Judy Garland spoke when she portrayed Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz? Often times, when one has to transition from one phase of their life into another and leave "home", those sentiments are likely to be encountered. All of us transition in our lives, the process bittersweet with fringes of anxiety regarding what will await us in our new place of residence. My transition to Cedar Lake Assisted Living and Memory Care almost 2 % years ago was a seamless one. After having lived in the same house for 68 years and the same city (Chicago) since birth, with the exception of my time in the Army, there was a sense of sadness because of all the memories that engulfed my mind....... the familiarity with the neighborhoods and the many friends | had established relationships, social, civic, and religious activities that | was actively involved in throughout the years; | had to pack all those emotional belongings and take the memories with me. The staff at Cedar Lake, understanding that change can be challenging, truly made the process one that offered serenity and hospitality, warm personalities and an inviting environment to ward off the chill of anxiety. With attributes of warmth and serenity, the process of transitioning was uncomplicated and quickly became my new home. | am very appreciative of the competence that each staff member portrays in their particular duties and the kind and genuine manner in which they exercise their responsibility. That personal warmth frames ALL of the other features that | find very pleasing. The residents have lovely appointments in the facility, resembling that of a five-star hotel. The chef and wait staff does an awesome job of preparing a variety of delicious foods and serving them in an elegant dining room setting. Just as there exists a daily menu of delicious meals, there also exists a daily menu of social activities, which include something that everyone can enjoy and engage their minds in meaningful ways. A member of the clergy and other ministers provide for our spiritual needs on a weekly basis, offering words to uplift, console, and guide us in our daily lives and interactions, thereby maintaining a serene and pleasant atmosphere. For those who enjoy crafts, reading, sports, gardening, dining out, being entertained by various talented people, field trips to various local areas of interest, Happy Hours on Friday afternoons, or just working on a jigsaw puzzle with the assistance of others or in solitude, your day is generously gifted with the pleasures and relaxations you once enjoyed and now can continue to pursue. Personally, | couldn't be happier elsewhere. My mom (95 years) has lived here over a year. I am very pleased with the administrative staff. Always available! The concierge staff is the best. Consistency is key and the people at the front desk are always pleasant and helpful! My siblings and I are happy that Mom lives or this safe and friendly environment.

The staff is amazing, they treat mom and every resident with respect and are very caring. I deal with just about everyone that works there and if there is a concern I am notified immediately. They are always offering different activities and outings for the seniors as well as good food. I am very pleased we decided on The Enclave at Chandler.

Very good, good meds, great staff, cognical helpful. We enjoy the connection with our coresidents.

I like living at Lombard Place. THey do a variety of activities. I like my apartment. I have made some friends here. Everybody says "hello!"

My husband resided at Lone Mountain Memory care for ten months before he passed away. The facility was beautiful with lots of light from the floor to ceiling windows, Everyone has a private room with a bath. The staff was exceptional, kind, funny and knowledgeable about dementia. I can not say enough good things about the staff. They welcomed him when he arrived and were with him when he passed away. They knew all of his likes and dislikes and talked to him every day. They are the kindest people on earth.

I’ve been in this community many times and always feel welcome. The staff is always welcoming, the residents are mostly cheerful and happy to chat with you. Very clean and the food is good too!

I love living at this community senior center. I was living alone in a house, and after a hospitalization, when I was very weak, I decided I needed to be with others. It has an atmosphere that is conductive for someone who needed a little observation. after a few months here I feel great and have a desire to do and go everywhere. The staff here is great! Food very good too!

The life style at Shawnee Hills affords me the time and freedom to pursue my crafts and hobbies while living in a family atmosphere.

The enclave has a very happy atmosphere.People are very friendly,helpful and caring .The staff Is very helpful and cheerful. You feel very comfortable living at the enclave. It is like home. There's a varied menu and the cook tries to make everyone content. There's plenty of Activities to keep you busy all day long. Come one come all.

We’ve lived at The Enclave at Round Rock for 5 months and thoroughly enjoy it. The staff is outstanding and services available are great.

We toured this facility for memory care for our mother. The tour went very well and I recommend touring this facility. The manager was very friendly and helpful. She was prompt to meet us when we arrived, professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The facility is a large complex with a separate smaller building for memory care. The outside is very well maintained and looks nice. When walking in the building looks nice, clean, open and welcoming. I emphasize the clean with this facility because the carpets looked freshly vacuumed, decorations looked up to date and bright and pretty, and everything smelled clean. We toured the memory care building. It looked nice, clean, smelled good, and was spacious. The rooms looked nice, clean, not too old, and well laid out. The rooms are grouped by two, so that two rooms are side by side and then a little space before the next two rooms. This facility prides itself on keeping the residents clean and well dressed and comfortable. I noticed the residents all looked well dressed where their blouses and pants matched and their hair was brushed and/or recently styled/curled. I noticed when talking to residents the residents clothes looked clean and did not smell bad or appear stained/soiled. A few of the residents came up to us and were friendly talking to us for a bit. The residents looked comfortable, well fed and did not look unhappy. We asked about their turnover and management of personal processes, which the manager was nice about talking about and answered our questions to our satisfaction. We did not ask bout levels of care and their cost, we forgot. We did not ask about the quality of their food or their chef, but everyone had just eaten and seemed content. They did not have cookies or snacks out but the manager said they do put snacks out and have snack time. We asked if residents are forced to do things they do not want to do. They said they do not force the residents to do things they do not want to do but do have activities for them. There were employees helping the residents while we were their and they handled the residents with kindness and careful from what I could tell. Residents were walking around visiting each other, doing activities, resting, watching tv, one resident was getting her hair done. Not sure about the full price of staying here because didn't understand their level of care pricing but appears to be about the same as other facilities we've visited. It is easy access off metcalf. This is a larger facility but the memory care unit is a smaller building so that makes it seem not so big if that bothers you.

Life here is so much better than I had dreamed. Every single staff member is friendly and anxious to please. Many activities and willing to follow up on suggestions for different activities. The food is excellent and nicely presented by helpful, friendly waitresses. I am very happy here.

I have lived at this community since May and have been very welcomed here. We all have become a big family and the staff has been great. We have grown closer after a fire that kept us out of our home for 3 weeks. They have have spared no expense to keep us housed and fed. What a great space to live.

This is a beautiful facility with special apartments. Numerous activities and great amenities. I have never experienced such a caring, loving, and compassionate staff. The residents are friendly and extremely helpful to one another. You can't go wrong with this place. Just wonderful.

The Enclave at Round Rock is a fabulous senior living community. Definitely 5 stars! What's not to like? We've been here 4 months and have no complaints. The staff, from the Executive Director to the housekeepers and maintenance men, are now part of our family. We've made new friends and there's plenty of fun activities to keep us busy. We've been to outstanding plays and musicals as well as the every popular "mystery trips." The chef food is exceptional and weekly happy hours offer great musical entertainers. Come join us!!
