This is a new facility, but initial impression is very good. I placed my father in law here. They were very good at meeting my requests. I stayed with my father in law over a week's period and was with him in the facility during the day. I got to see the daily routine and how the staff interacted with the residents. I was very impressed. I got to talk to a number of residents who had been at the facility for 2 or 3 months and they spoke highly of the facility. I would recommend you give it strong consideration for placement of your loved ones. I ate a number of meals there, and the food preparation is very good.

I was very impressed with [name removed], the person who showed me around the place. The residents were interactive with her, she knew their names, greeted them and introduced me. It felt like a warm, welcoming place to be.

We couldn’t be happier with everything that Mountain Park Senior Living has to offer for our folks! The staff are all so friendly, polite, and helpful in every way! It is truly a comfort and blessing knowing are parents are safe 24/7 and are being cared for, the way we hope to be some day too!!

Met with [name removed] the sales director. He was knowledgable and I think straight with me. He is one year on job. Many other key staff are 1 year or less on job. This is a corporate Assisted living run by Spectrum Retirement....this may be a negative point. 2 Gerientologists on site. New arrangement with Legacy starting [date removed]. 86 beds (62 Assist and 24 Mem)....currently 53 in assisted and 18 in memory (78%"). ER goes to Good Shepard. Hair salon on Tuesdays only New food director 6 mo ago and big food improvements. 1bed/2ba. Have 2 bed, but not available now. Washer and dryer in all units. Laundry service in done within your own unit. 5% cap on rent increases annually...done Nov Excursions 3x/wk. No faults in current 3 years of state survey. Garden space, coffee shop, food 7a-7a daily Rent dad = 5370 2nd person = 500 Dad care = 1000 if assisted, 1200 if memory at level 2 Mom care - level 1 = $500 (no care = no fee for 2nd person) Rent + Care = $7370 / mo

We love Dougherty Ferry for my mom. She has lived there almost 3 years now, and she is VERY happy there. They take great care of her, they have a lot of activities she can participate in, and she has made a lot of friends in her time there. Everyone is very attention, caring and takes the time to get to know not only the residents but the family, which is very important to the families. Thanks for all you do for Mom - she loves you all !!

[Name removed] is a very special kind and loving person, makes other feel very comfortable and happy she is contagious. We love to come any time to visit my friend because we know that [name removed] is gonna be there with her smile. The facility is awesome. All the staff is very polite.

Moving our father from independent to assisted living was a difficult decision. We looked at many facilities in different suburbs. We chose Cedar Lake because it felt the most like home, not a facility. A one bedroom unit was a great transition from a house. The Cedar Lake team is organized, professional and caring. The dining room offers a variety of menu items and great service. There are plenty of activities and living rooms to visit with guests or even host a birthday party. The residents at Cedar Lake are a wonderful group of people that had many things in common with our father. I highly recommend Cedar Lake.

I was very greatly impressed with The Enclave at Anthem. It is a senior living facility in the town of Anthem, AZ. It is most attractive with a look and feeling like one is entering a gracious home. It is new and well maintained with well lit apartments which have full kitchens and walk in closets. When I saw it on the web site I thought it might be too close to the freeway, but in actuality that is not an issue. The outdoor areas are pleasant too with siting spaces and a nice pool.

Such a beautiful senior living facility. The staff is so lovely, I love how the staff knows who everyone is. Very clean and beautiful.

Our mother has lived at the Gardens for almost 2 years. Recently she moved to a new larger apartment. The staff, especially [name removed], Executive Director, was helpful, expeditious and efficient throughout the entire process. She kept us informed at each step of the process, ensuring my mother's care and happiness with the change was paramount, keeping the family fully informed. The Gardens is a beautiful facility, well appointed with awesome staff & leadership. We and our mother is extremely happy living at the Gardens! We highly recommend this complex!!

Took a 90 minute tour and review of the facility with [name removed] in regards to potential long-term care for my mother. [Name removed] took the time to understand our needs and give us an extremely thorough tour of the facility. I was amazed how nice and clean the facililty was and how it felt much more like an apartment style of senior living rather than a nursing home, even in the Memory Care unit. I witnessed many patient get togethers and activities while there which would be outstanding for any patient and the care levels appear to be outstanding. The facilities themselves are second to none when comparing to others and the pricing very competitive. I would recommend this facility highly for any senior level requiring anything from little to full care needs. WOW!

Very nice property, wheelchair accessible. Same mgt company as Inspira, but near full occupancy.

My dad has been a resident at Gardens at Ocotillo for several years. He started in Assisted Living and is now in Memory Care, receiving the Platinum Level of care (assistance with just about everything). The director of Memory Care calls and emails whenever I need to be notified about a need or concern. She also talks and jokes with my dad and knows how to redirect him when he decides he doesn't need a shower or assistance with personal care. It means a lot to me that he is so delighted to see her and the other caregivers on staff. The Executive Director and the nurse on staff are also responsive and very caring towards my dad. They listen when I have a concern and act on it right away. It's not easy to observe my formerly strong, intelligent father become more and more dependent on others but I am confident he will receive whatever he needs. Normally I live a few miles away, but occasionally have extended visits with family in other states. I would worry, being that far away, if I didn't know for sure that Dad is well taken care of.

This is an awesome place! I love the ambiance, culture, food, the surrounding community among many other things. The staff is professional and caring. I love that they provide exercise and wellness activities. This community is amazing, It is located in a peaceful community in Williamson County. I've met some really wonderful guests here who are very happy to stay in a place like this. This has been a fantastic place for my mother.

We found Cedar Lake to be very warm and welcoming. [Name removed] is a rock star! His presentation and tour were excellent. A genuinely nice person with loads of compassion. We could tell he really loves his job.

From the first time we visited Mountain Park, we were pleased. The facility is welcoming, clean, friendly and active. My mother-in-law's room is beautiful and fresh and airy. She feels safe and secure and she knows there is someone nearby at all times. She loves her place and the staff is so good to her. We are so pleased with the food service workers, janitors, housekeeping, nursing, front desk and sales and administration. Everyone seems to love working at Mountain Park. The food is good and nourishing and just the right portions. Everything runs smoothly and my mother-in-law is so happy here. She is included in the activities and she never wants for anything. Mountain Park was recommended to us by a resident and I recommend this facility to everyone I meet.

My father originally came to Gardens for 30 days of respite care in June of 2018. In October the same year he decided to make it his permanent residence. I have great peace of mind having him there and close to my home in Chandler. [Name removed], the director obviously loves what she does and has always been there to answer my questions and help my father when I’ve needed something special. She is just one of the great assets to Gardens. [Names removed] are also solid caregivers that never hesitate to answer my questions or help with any requests as well. They all take the time to make my father and the other guests feel welcome and individually important. There are numerous activities available for all residents, shuttle service to shopping if needed, two restaurants to dine in, a lounge and a bistro to enjoy any time. One of the best features that gives me comfort is the emergency button all residents wear, he has used it many times and received the assistance he needed as soon as possible, this is so important as our parents get older and need additional help at times. We had numerous choices of where my father wanted to move; he chose Gardens, and I am glad he did.

Although it has been less than a week since we moved our aunt to Cedar Lake, we are very happy and satisfied with our decision.. In all honesty, Cedar Lake was my first and only choice for an assisted living facility. [Name removed] made such a great impression on us, I knew I could stop looking. There was no bait and switch and no surprises. What they promised is exactly what happened. Prices for services are all honestly quoted up front. The sincerity and concern for the well-being of their residents is a priority. The facility is beautiful, the employees are all friendly and the dining room could be comparable to the Ritz Carlton. The daily list of activities are incredible, with a great variety of interests. My aunt’s apartment is a perfect size. She has a den, living room, bedroom, extra-large walk-in closet, MBR, and small galley kitchen. Our move had to be done quickly as my aunt could no longer safely live alone. [Name removed] provided constant communication, answered all of our questions and expediated the process when we ran into problems. I especially liked the full service senior moving company (Paxem) that provided a customized floor plan for her furniture and expert Packers and movers that within 6 hours we had an HGTV reveal for my aunt. The consideration of [name removed] and his staff for my aunt and us, during a very difficult and stressful time will never be forgotten and will always be appreciated. We are so happy with our choice.

“There's No Place Like Home” Do you remember those words that Judy Garland spoke when she portrayed Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz? Often times, when one has to transition from one phase of their life into another and leave "home", those sentiments are likely to be encountered. All of us transition in our lives, the process bittersweet with fringes of anxiety regarding what will await us in our new place of residence. My transition to Cedar Lake Assisted Living and Memory Care almost 2 % years ago was a seamless one. After having lived in the same house for 68 years and the same city (Chicago) since birth, with the exception of my time in the Army, there was a sense of sadness because of all the memories that engulfed my mind....... the familiarity with the neighborhoods and the many friends | had established relationships, social, civic, and religious activities that | was actively involved in throughout the years; | had to pack all those emotional belongings and take the memories with me. The staff at Cedar Lake, understanding that change can be challenging, truly made the process one that offered serenity and hospitality, warm personalities and an inviting environment to ward off the chill of anxiety. With attributes of warmth and serenity, the process of transitioning was uncomplicated and quickly became my new home. | am very appreciative of the competence that each staff member portrays in their particular duties and the kind and genuine manner in which they exercise their responsibility. That personal warmth frames ALL of the other features that | find very pleasing. The residents have lovely appointments in the facility, resembling that of a five-star hotel. The chef and wait staff does an awesome job of preparing a variety of delicious foods and serving them in an elegant dining room setting. Just as there exists a daily menu of delicious meals, there also exists a daily menu of social activities, which include something that everyone can enjoy and engage their minds in meaningful ways. A member of the clergy and other ministers provide for our spiritual needs on a weekly basis, offering words to uplift, console, and guide us in our daily lives and interactions, thereby maintaining a serene and pleasant atmosphere. For those who enjoy crafts, reading, sports, gardening, dining out, being entertained by various talented people, field trips to various local areas of interest, Happy Hours on Friday afternoons, or just working on a jigsaw puzzle with the assistance of others or in solitude, your day is generously gifted with the pleasures and relaxations you once enjoyed and now can continue to pursue. Personally, | couldn't be happier elsewhere.
