We went with The Enclave because the sales person we spoke with was really great and it seemed like it was going to be the best fit due to the location and cleanliness of the facility. They did not explain certain things to me such as I needed to provide our own toiletries, I was not told that they had a barber shop service that shaves on the memory care side, and they are not able to do my mothers hair. I do love the staff members here. They just need to concentrate on the little details.

The activities are still somewhat in a holding pattern given the circumstances but everyone there has been very friendly. They did not over commit which is a great thing, and the on boarding process was very easy. Even with the high turnover rate these communities are experience the care givers have been phenomenal.

We chose The Enclave at the time because it was a newer facility, it seemed to be clean and smelled nice, and the furnishings were new and modern looking. They have had some issues with staff turnover which is causing a significant delay with response time. The meals are hit or miss and they seem to be out of things a lot of times. I think that the facility has room for improvement.

I was able to do a virtual tour with this community and my experience was okay. I thought the rooms I saw were very crowded, and they would leave meals and snacks outside the residents doorways in something that looked like a school desk. It was during the height of covid, but the dining room was open and they were still serving the food in the hallways which we did not appreciate.

We went with Park Meadows because of the convenient location as well as the value for the money. They walked him through the apartment and did a virtual tour with him and all was good. I walk with a cane and sometimes it is hard to find a parking place so I think it would be nice if they had more parking for visitors. Overall I would not recommend to others looking.

We chose Westerville Senior Living at the time because we thought for the money it was a really great place. It just does not seem to be panning out as we thought it would be. The variety and preparation of the food could definitely use some improvement, there also seems to be an inconsistency of the quality as well.

We did a virtual tour with the community. It was very nice and the staff was friendly, they answered all of our questions and tried to make the virtual tour as good as it can be.

We toured long before Covid and then took quite some time to make our decision. HighPointe would have been the most ideal location as far as proximity to where we live. We toured the assisited and independent living sections only, and the facility for those was okay. As I did some more research, I read some very bad reviews of their memory care facility, which we knew our loved one would likely need eventually. And my wife has a close friend whose child worked in the kitchen there and knew of incidences of Covid among the employees.

I would tell others to try it, you might like it. I would do more visiting and touring of communities. There is no storage in the apartments, no closets for the linens or hallway closets. I didn't notice this when I was touring. We are short on servers. Sometimes the food is not items we would want to eat. The menu names aren't what the residents are used to calling it. It needs to be more simplified.

The community is short-staffed. Don't expect perfection. Communication is good, they communicate via typed message and keep us informed. They serve a lot of pasta and the variety of the meals could be better.

I toured this facility and it had a strong odor right when you walked in the door. The people here were very nice and wonderful but I just could not get past the smell.

The administrators were very nice and caring. Some of the caregivers I felt were not qualified or did not take the covid precautions seriously. The community is very neat and clean. The communication was not the best between the staff and the family. I have tried to call several times and would not receive a callback. If all of these issues were fixes then I would recommend this community to others.

I was disappointed that my expectations were not met and that i was not challenged with items to do. The rooms were all set up nicely, but the food was at best just ordinary. There was not really at the community that stood out in value that was worth staying there.

Outside it looked very nice. They rarely cleaned my parent's room, and it looked bad, even after reminders to staff. But, the worst part, was that the Supervisor was very cold and seemed uncaring, and the staff seemed very overworked (understaffed). We were not happy with Lombard Place.

The food is terrible, it was good at first but they got a new chef and the quality and variety not good, there was an issue with theft and the care was not very good. we had multiple issues with the care received at this community. Communication was not great either. I would not recommend this community to others.

Some of the staff members were great and some were not. The care givers were great, however the management was not attentive to our needs. Normally we believe the activities were good, they did try their best under the circumstance. Their medical director and head of nursing was somewhat disrespectful and not attentive at all to our questions and concerns. The facility is great if you are more independent.

My parents said the most difficult part is the food, they don't like it. The dining staff are nice but the quality of the food is not good at times, and the food that is served is not always what was selected from the menu. Their apartment is a little small. We chose this community because the location was closer to our family. Also, it was inside living verses apartment style living. i would recommend this community if they could improve the food situation.

I chose the community because my mom really liked it. We liked the apartment size. The place is very clean and I do think the staff are really nice. They have a pretty good menu with daily specials and other menu items that are always available, like sandwiches and burgers. The dining room also has really long hours which my mom likes.

The staff and residents appear to be very nice and welcoming. The facility is well maintained and cared for with an emphasis on supporting family involvement and activities. The food, however, is awful. Expenses that we thought would be covered like meals have actually doubled. Meals and offering listed on the menu are often unavailable or substituted. Food choices are frequently fried or high in unsaturated fats, bland or high in starch. As a result grocery bills are excessive so that my mother is able to eat.
