If you have alot of money....otherwise, broken promises, high staff turn over from top down, yearly rent increases $[fee removed]/mth., so so food. Front office closes door and hides when there is a concern/complaint-or say they'll fix and dont. Alot to say, do your research before signing the dotted line... Memory care staff is awesome, if they don't let them go.

My 88-year-old father lived at Peakview for about one year. Prior to his move, we had toured about 5 other assisted living facilities and thought Peakview would be a good choice. From the beginning, we experienced issues where services and ADL care tasks were not being performed by Peakview staff. The tasks detailed in his care plan such as laundry, changing of bed linens, shower assistance, and grooming were simply not being completed. As family members, we were constantly following up to why these services were not being done. Every time we visited my father, we wondered what issue we would have to deal with. When we contacted Peakview management regarding these issues, we were always politely told that they would be addressed. Unfortunately, nothing ever changed. We also experienced issues with Peakview’s medical management process and medication chain-of-custody. At one point, we considered contacting the State of Colorado to file a complaint.

I think for independent living or for a low level of assisted living it is probably fine. But they are NOT equipped to handle higher level of care assisted living. This is despite them doing 2 different assessments of my mother in law and assuring us they could provide level 5 assisted living care and that she could stay there through end of life. We had lots of issues with her receiving medication regularly!

Have lived here 2 1/2 years but I’m moving next month because local management has no say; everything is micro managed from corporate. There is zero transparency and communication. We’re on our 5th executive director since I’ve been here. The building itself is beautiful and well decorated; if that’s what you’re looking for, you’ve found your home. One resident is extremely disruptive in the dining room. This has been going on for 2 years and corporate claims they are working on resolving the issue. To date, nothing has been done and they continue to let 1 person ruin the dining experience for the rest of the residents.

The adjustment to life at Park Meadows is not as easy as we had hoped. We asked a lot of questions and I felt like we had a good idea of how it was going to go, but that sales lady was good at making things seem like butterflies and rainbows (as salespeople often do). I hope that Park Meadows is just in a time of transition and it will get better. For all of 2024, they have been updating the independent living side of the building so I assume everything is just chaos and not operating as usual. I do wonder if it will get worse before it gets better as they fill up independent living apartments and have to balance out staffing, but we'll keep our fingers crossed.

My mom did not like Lincoln Meadows at all and moved out. The staff were not nice, the meals were not good, they charged acts for services you didn't have. I would never recommend Lincoln Meadows to other families.

Within six months of moving in, my mother's rent went up 12%. Corporate executives stated as part of rent increase independent residents would now get a 30 meal a month plan. Many residents did not want or need since they have a full size kitchen in their apartments. The residents wrote letters, signed petition, talked to executives but were not heard. Just corporate greed. Staff at facility were always kind and have no issues with them at all, they are not to blame. My mother is moving out.

I like the facilities at this facility, but the dining situation is abysmal. There isn't enough staff serving the food and cooking the food. The have a "special" menu that changes daily, but unfortunately, they run out of the food (even what's listed on the regular menu). The orders get twisted around and I don't get what I ordered. For example, I order poached eggs soft, but they come hard poached. Rarely are the tables set with water and silverware. Today, the straw that broke the camel's back was that the wait person came to our table and said there wasn't any clean tableware available, so I ended up going back to my apartment to bring my personal silverware back to the dining room. When issues have been brought to the management, the answer is always "corporate sets the rules."

Right now I wouldn't recommend Las Soleras. Since my mother first moved in over 2 years ago they have had numerous directors. They are so short staffed. There's not enough kitchen help and residents have long waiting times for meals. Now Las Soleras is beginning to house assistant living residents as well. They don't have enough staff to provide services for the independent living residents so I don't see how the situation will get better at Las Soleras.

Be careful. The window dressing makes you believe that it is an upscale place. The personnel vary from ok to exceptional. Be very clear upfront. Eat a meal here. It isn't very impressive in terms of price and comparison with other similar options. although they have lots of common spaces, the spaces are rarely used. People seem to stay in their apartments. We are hoping we are just experiencing difficulties associated with transitioning. Shower was broken when we moved my father in.

My mom had to be moved to Memory Care. No-one watched her take her medications. We found medicine cups filled with meds. My mom was also stashing meds in random hiding places. There was poor communication from staff to me, as I lived out of town and was only able to visit her on the weekends. I saw her on Sunday when we took her out of the facility for dinner. I received a call Friday saying that my mom refused food all week, refused a shower all week, was not taking her medications all week, that her whole room smelled like urine and BO, that she was a danger to herself and had to be sent to the hospital. I called multiple times throughout the week to check on my mom, because mom wasn't feeling up to talking. Everyone said she was fine until Friday when they said she wasn't. Very high staff turnover. Unfortunately, my mom passed away shortly after her stay there. The biggest thing I learned is that if you place a loved one in Assisted living or memory care, you have to visit them EVERYDAY.

Since COVID, the quality of programming and services at Palos Verde has been steadily declining. The food service went from high quality options to bland Sisco cafeteria food. Activities have been minimal, regular turnover of management has provided no leadership and supervision for high quality care. The day to day caregivers are doing their bast to provide quality care and attention with limited leadership and support. While costs have been consistently increasing, care and quality has been in a steady decline. We are very disappointed and hope our regular reviews of service will promote change and improvement.

Stately, beautifully furnished room which are rarely used. It would have been so much better if the had put the money toward more staff and edible food. Their breakfasts are fine however. Dinner is terrible. Very good housekeeping, however.

We did not have a good experience, unfortunately. I don't feel my dad was placed in the appropriate level of care. He didn't receive his medications timely. Staff seemed very discontent with management (from reception to nursing to kitchen). My dad was only there about a month before he passed away. We are still waiting on a refund. All around, it was not a good experience. It was a beautiful place but looks were deceiving.

The care is of low quality - just not provided or substandard. Communication is not there - no follow-up of requests for communication about care and billing issues. Emails are not returned. Billing is wrong and not corrected. Promises continue to be unkept. No shower for 2 months. High turnover of all levels of staff. Staff says 'It's not my job" or "No one told me". Food is good and the activities department is good.

Mgmt at WSL is weak and unresponsive to tenants needs. There are better places in Columbus if you need memory care for a family member.

Kitchen/Service and house keeping is a nightmare. Cafe style turned into buffet but has improved. Service can be from 10min to 45min to get your food. House keeping was promised as 1/week but that only happens if you continually request and follow up. Can't keep food servers or house keeping. There needs to be a major change in management. I am strongly considering having to move to a different facility. Some of the staff are great but the bad ones ruin the entire experience.

Horrible food, very slow food service. Takes 2 hours to get served breakfast. Moved out. Took them 6 months to repair my broken dishwasher. Very slow to fix any issues in your apartment. Given 2 spears of asparagus at dinner and asked for more and was told no that was one serving. Bland overcooked food. Orange water they call carrot soup....

I am currently a resident at Las Soleras Senior Living. The current Executive Director is a HUGE improvement compared to the last three that I have experienced while being a resident here for a little less than a year. I strongly feel that this "Independent Senior Living" facility needs to NOT accept residents who are in need of assistance. While living at Las Soleras I have seen two separate new residents being brought to the facility on gurneys. Recently, a 90+ new resident was reported to have wandered the halls knocking on doors and asking "do I live here". This same resident wandered away from the facility on a Friday night and was found (dead) days later after extensive searching.

So many frustrations over the years. This facility has too many staff changes Starting at the top, from executive director to the kitchen staff. There is a clear lack of communication between the staff and residents family. When they do share information it is to the wrong people. They quote you once price for care, and 1 week later, the increase the price then another week later it goes up again. How can they be so wrong about estimating a persons level of care in one month. And don’t hold your breath for a call back. This place seemed like it was a nice place without being overly expensive, but ultimately it becomes more expensive and more frustrating than the facilities that are initially more costly. Do yourself a favor and try someplace else.
