[name removed] was helpful at first. I was given several places near me. I had not asked for Enclave Anthem for my Aunt, due to the cost. Somehow, a referral was sent there. My parents live there. My Aunt decided to choose Enclave Anthem. I was not able to get a $[fee removed] referral fee from Enclave, because they had received the referral from place for mom. [name removed] said she would look into why the referral was sent there and if I could get a part of your fee because I never asked to have enclave Anthem contacted. Never heard back after I followed up. Not the best experience.

Overall happy but also some significant challenges such as high staff turnover, inconsistent service and some issues with response time to emergency response system.

The food service there is very, very slow. I do not think this facility is a good fit for anyone who is under 70.

The price is competitive for the quality of the location. Living quarters and amenities. The community engagement, amenities and ability to go to stores is good. The management is very dysfunctional with high turnover. They are changing prices with minimal notification to the residents. The kitchen has had high turnover and the meals are below average to average.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, but they do appear understaffed. I feel the weakest link is the person that coordinates the care. facility is very nice. for the higher level of care I think more attention needs to be given and to help them socialize instead of just wheeling to an activity. they also need to take a different approach in getting residents that have dementia or something similar to get them to engage more in activities verses staying in their room

Lots of room for improvement. We have complained a lot. Things have gotten a little better but not too much. Big turnover of staff. They might not pay very good? You have to visit often to make sure your loved one is being taken care of well. We visit 3-4 times a week.

We live in one of the cottages and for what it costs more amenities should be available. Things such as meals and cleaning for example .

Our experience at this facility started off on a good note. We placed my MIL in the memory care unit in 2021. There were several management and staff turnovers over her time there. We figured this was normal given the tough work environment. Fast forward to November 2024. After falling from her bed (not facility's fault), my MIL was admitted to the hospital due to some concerns. The hospital team informed us that she had a serious UTI, yeast growing in between her folds, and cellulitis in her left leg. She was also very weak to the point the hospital staff were very concerned. Since UTI's and yeast growing is a result of poor hygiene, we opted to not return my MIL to Mason AL&MC and had moved all of her stuff before she was discharged from the hospital. Even with her out for several days, we found her room at Mason AL&MC in poor condition. There was a urine soaked depends hanging on her dresser handle. The room reeked of urine. We wish we had gotten out of there sooner than we did.

I would not recommend Creve Coeur at this time. Management changed in 2023 and they were not as responsive to my dads needs. We liked the accessibility, size of the room, in room washer/dryer, and the staff seemed friendly and professional. Also, the residents seemed to be treated well

What I will say is that the food isn't good, they have a hard time getting employees. The activities are not well attended and they can't seem to keep an activities director. So it's kind of boring if you don't have a busy outside life. I'm not sure if other places are better or whether they are all having these issues these days.

Unfortunately, my experience with Palos Verdes ended up being an epic failure. Errors were made by all of us,and [name removed] was only there for 24 hours before we all realized that it was not a good fit. He went in on August back home the [date removed]. It was a costly out of pocket experience, but I knew that the community fee and first month rent was non refundable. My loss, and I have no regrets. However,it was shocking that I was then billed $[removed] for the whole month of September because I didn't give them 30 days notice even though he was there for just 24 hours. I'm still waiting for a reasonable resolution. They did decide to take the invoice amount down to about $[removed],but that's still not acceptable to me. I have told them that I am happy to pay the $[removed] for mounting and unmounting the television, but nothing else. He didn't even have a meal there! Also, they had several unoccupied units in the memory care unit, so I was not preventing them from income, or keeping someone else on a waiting list until they had availability. Not resolved yet. It truly is a lovely facility and I am so disappointed that it didn't work out.

The staff was very helpful in getting my father-in-law in there very quickly. The care staff we're very friendly and kind, but I did not like how that they kept all of the memory care people in one room to watch tv most of the day. Then they reevaluated my father-in-law after 30 days and said he was at their top level and he was not able to do anything for himself resulting in a higher charge. we had taken them him home every once in a while and he might've been slow, but he was able to do almost everything for himself with direction.

The staff know everyone by name with or without name tags. They are always available to speak with family and quickly respond to any concerns or questions. They are short staffed, so cooks turn over too frequently so good get too repetitive.

We picked this community because of the cost but she doesn't like the food. The director has changed 4 times in a year

I would say do not go for Independent living. I have no experience with Assisted Living. No benefits in Independent living. Food is not included , outings not included and no medical benefits as well as no other benefits. It is Corporate owned and it is all about the money.

They are having a very hard time keeping their help. The wait times for meals are routinely -30-60 minutes long.

Overall the facility is fine, but I have been very disappointed in the lack and variety of activities as well as the poor quality of food and service.

I can not get information on my aunt's health. I also would like more information on her bill. They add fees without notice. I would recommend this place for someone in good health that can take care of themselves. They are clean with good food and a great deal of activities for mobile people.

I have mixed feelings about moving my mom here. Let's start with the good. I loved the people working there. Many were very kind to my mom and very helpful including the people in sales, front desk, and the kitchen staff. The place was very nice aesthetically. It was newer and modern and didn't really have the " old home smell" of many places. The apartments in independent living were pretty spacious and mom really liked most of the people there. Let's talk about the not so good. First off, the food really wasn't very good. I heard complaints from my mom and also from her friends. Next up, my mom didn't really do a lot of activities but I thought there should be more to do. Finally, they invoked the 2 week move out rule because Independent wasn't working and she needed memory care. 2 weeks is not enough time to move someone into MC with no diagnosis. After 1 week, I was told 30 days is fine to move but i dealt with it. I moved mom.They kept comm. fee $[removed] no refund after 6 wks there.

They have a pool and my mom got enamored with the idea of a pool but had yet to use it once. The facility is relatively new so it looks nice on the outside but their med techs are not trained or not trained well. The medication mgmt is atrocious and communication even worse. I call frequently and can NEVER get a hold of a nurse or a tech. My mom's pcp even said yesterday that she had gotten 3 different stories about the strength and frequency of one specific med. [name removed] said she was scared for my mom's safety from her observed incompetence. Food can be really good BUT often times they don't serve what they advertise bc they run out and just serve sandwiches. They just sent a notice halting the serving of berries and would only give "whole fruit" like apples and bananas. No reason was listed. There's high turnover and the front desk lady , [name removed], is ALWAYS rude! Again, it looks great from the outside but pull back the veneer and you've got particle board nonsense that's not worth the money and if she could afford to move, I'd move her
