Spectrum Retirement

The community seems to be struggling with keeping staff especially with the dining service. Considering what we are paying for and their being no amenities we are not getting our moneys worth, the meals are spotty, the activities are spotty and the house keeping is spotty.

It is a brand new community. They make a big deal to make sure the staff call the resident's by their name. They have a lot of activities available for the residents to choose from. It is a very nice community and friendly. The place is well thought-out for seniors. Most of the apartments are around 600 square feet with 12 foot ceilings.

Everything is spotless and the staff are very nice and treat the residents with respect. I feel very comfortable here and they are being very careful with covid and have been good with keeping it out of the facility. They are starting to slowly open back up activities but being very careful about it. I have everything good to say about it and I am excited for it to get back to normal and things to open back up. I would definitely recommend them to others who are looking.

It is a good balance for the quality and money. The staff have been easy to work with. My loved one is satisfied with the food. It is adequate and fine. The community is new and very clean.

You have someone to check on you. You have staff on the weekends. They are well staffed. The chef cooks and if the menu isn't right, they would replace the meals at no charge. Everything was on point. The only drawback was the rent being too high for me. If I would have been able to pay the rent I would still be here. You have washer and dryers in the unit and you don't have to pay for the wash. They check on you day by day. The have security cameras in the parking lots. The doors are locked. They had a sign in and out sheets for the residents. The community provided hand sanitizer for guests and residents to use.

everyone is really friendly and the staff is easy to talk to. Communication could be better, return calls are not an issue but sometimes I have trouble getting ahold of someone at the front desk. You can put a phone in the residence room also. I would recommend this community to others based on my experence.

We chose Gardens at Ocotillo because it was newer and looked nicer and cleaner and it was also in a convenient location. The rooms here are also good sized compared to some others that we saw. They were in assisted living and I just felt like they did not get enough care here, but overall I would recommend to others looking.

This facility was clean and bright. Staff was friendly. We were looking for a studio but all they had was a 1-bedroom. This room will work while we wait for a studio. We do plan to sign the agreement. There is a $2500 fee deposit required which is only refundable for 30 days and before move-in. This fee goes toward building maintenance, not rent is is nonrefundable after move-in. The price includes breakfast only. it cost an additional $200/mo for each add'l daily meal per day.

Love the garden area, the facility was nice, secure and very clean. Staff was awesome.

The Enclave was very nice and expensive, you get a lot for your money here. I did not think they would have been able to meet our loved ones needs for memory care even though that is what the facility is advertised for.

We chose Crestview because we wanted to fit the place to my dad. He had just moved out of his own home and was pretty independent but needed just a little bit of help so we thought this wold be the best fit. You are able to hire AW here for care, but it is not included in the price of rent. Overall we liked it and everyone was nice and he really liked the food and activities, he just needed some more care.

I would tell others it is more like independent living than I thought it would. Most of the people are friendly and kind to my loved one. I would like to see some clarity on what the caregivers are supposed to do and what is considered overstepping for them. Communication is one of the problems here, such as the staff not talking to each other all the time. The community had a program that allowed a trusted companion to be able to see their loved one during the pandemic. This was awesome for my family.

This is such a small cozy community. The atmosphere felt so peaceful. [name removed] is such a joy.

My daughter and I visited this community and it was so very nice. The people were friendly and all had smiles.

The feedback is the only problem I have. It seems to be good, but I don't get feedback about my loved one. The admin team have been prompt in sending me the bills to send to the insurance. My loved one says she likes the food and it is excellent here. Prior to COVID they had activities each day for the residents to participate in. They will be starting to allow visits in the resident's rooms for 2 hours each day with 2 family members. They switch staff a lot. The staff is friendly and will say hi and welcome when you walk in to the community.

We chose Highpointe because of the cost, it was a set cost and did not change so we were able to budget and plan. We are allowed to go visit my dad and they can talk through the glass or outside with a mask, so they have been good. They have been very cautious and forthcoming on the very few cases they have had and did a very good job at keeping residents safe. They have all been vaccinated so we are happy about that. My dad does not like the food here, he said it does not have much taste at all. It is hard because I have never been able to go inside the facility, but I would recommend to others looking.

Lovely large facility. It was a little too big for my father I think. Did not have current availability in a good price range.

I think they're really accommodating, and they take each individual resident at their own stage in life and overall care needs. They worked with us to bring in home health care to augment independent living. Overall we've been really happy, and during Covid they've done really well. The apartment is lovely. Housekeeping comes once a week. She's lovely and does a good job. I don't think we have a true feel yet for the community, but my loved ones are doing great so far. So we 're looking forward to what's to come. Park Meadows has done an excellent job considering the circumstances.

We chose Las Palomas because of the value for the money as well as the location. I have only seen one room but it is more than adequate for my loved ones needs. They have not been very good with communication, I think they should post updates to a website or email information to family members. In general I am pleased and I would recommend them and already have.

The staff has worked hard to focus on getting my loved one on the right track with his health. The have several different care levels in this community. The communication is great between the staff and the families they keep us well informed. I would recommend this community to others
