Overall this is a good place for my loved one. The facility is always clean, neat and orderly. The staff are kind, caring and patient, especially with residents who are experiencing challenges with their memory. It is wonderful that residents can have their pets living with them in their apartments or when family members bring their pets to visit. Pets serve as a wonderful sense of companionship and familiarity with their master. There are areas where residents, families and visitors can gather outside, especially in the evenings. Thank you for the care and concern you provide to our loved ones and their families.

AFTER TWO YEARS AT PARK MEADOWS OUR BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT IS THE KITCHEN/DINING ROOM. THAT SAID, THERE ARE SEVERAL GOOD FOLKS WORKING IN THAT DEPARTMENT. I ALSO WONDER WHY A LAUNDRY ROOM OPERATED WITH ONLY 1 WORKING DRYER AND 2 WORKING WASHING MACHINES FOR 6+ MONTHS THIS YEAR. ENTERTAINMENT/ACTIVITIES LEADERSHIP AND OTHERS IN THAT AREA WORK ABOVE AND BEYOND THEIR RESPONSIBILITIES FOR RESIDENTS. THEY ARE SO APPRECIATED. TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM MEDICAL APPTS IS A WONDERFUL SERVICE THAT WE USE FREQUENTLY. THE DRIVERS ARE GREAT!! HOUSEKEEPING IS EXCELLENT! PERONS WORKING THE FRONT DESK ARE VERY HELPFUL IN WHATEVER OUR QUESTIONS AND NEEDS MIGHT BE.

Our family had an in person tour and it was nice but the lady who gave us the tour was very business like and not warm and fuzzy. She gave us the tour and went through all her protocols, and it just was all sales.

Staff members are very pleasant. Each department head is introduced and takes the time to speak directly with new resident regarding their areas of expertise and how to contact them etc. Resident safety is a top priority at Palos Verdes. Rooms are well kept by housekeeping, events are planned and common areas are well decorated, modern and appealing. Lobby areas look like resort style living. They also offer plenty of parking. One area of opportunity is the restaurant. The food is now unsatisfactory. Menu is great and offers lots of options, but isn’t prepared well. The Chefs Special is often inedible. There isn’t consistency in the food prep. One day it tastes excellent, the next day it’s terrible. Overall it is an amazing place! I know they take pride in their restaurant services, but due to the lack of consistency in meal prep, I would have to give 4 out of 5 stars.

There are certain things stated in the contract that are not being maintained . Transportation, as the community grows the demand for more travel to Doctors visits will be required.A permeant driver is required. Not limited to two days a week but available 5 days per week. another assistant driver could be limited to 2 days per week for grocery stores or Walmart. Because of the ability to hire waiters, etc. all mgmt. should make themselves available as servers and be able to be cross trained to do what is necessary to make the operation function properly. top mgt. should be out talking to residents daily.

We chose Westview at Ellisville because my aunt lives there and she really enjoys it and has been here a long time. They also had a reasonable price going into it. The rooms are a very nice size, she's got a studio and it is more adequate for her needs. She loves the food, they are chef prepared meals. I would recommend to others looking.

Our tour at Westbrook Senior Living was excellent. The people were really nice. The facility was clean. I learned a lot. The only problem was their care levels didn’t go up high enough to meet our loved one's needs. It was a really nice place, but it just didn't fit our criteria.

We chose The Enclave because of the affordability, the activities provided, availability, the the location of the facility. I did have a great experience with the staff when I first started looking into it, they were all great to work with. The apartment sizes are just fine. If you choose to get involved there is a way to get involved. I do think they need to get their van service running again, it has been down since covid started. They use it for the grocery store but not for any other activities yet. Overall it has been a good experience and it is a great safe place for mom. I would recommend.

This is good as you can get for the money. The friendliness and companionship is the best part of the community for me. The food is good, there is lack of wait staff. There is a new exercise company that has come in to the community, painting, and topics to discuss and more for activities.

Overall, it's a pretty good place. It's bright and cheery. It's hard to tell some things with Covid going on. I think their meals are pretty early. For instance, dinner starts at 5:00 and is over by 6:30, and I think it should go until 7:30 for people who like a later option. But overall it's a really nice place. Most people are super friendly. And it's nice and clean here.

I chose The Enclave because I saw it being built when I would drive by and it looked like a nice property. I have an apartment on the top floor and it overlooks the pool which is nice. I have a 2 bedroom apartment but it is a little on the smaller side. They do not cater to restricted diets. They are starting to add more activities in since the pandemic and hired an activities director. They do have trouble keeping a maintenance man so it takes a while for things to get done. I would possibly recommend to others looking.

I toured The Enclave and it was pricier than what I wanted. It was also multiple stories so you have to take an elevator, set up more like a hotel.

I like the community and would recommend the community to others. The grounds are kept up nice and it is a beautiful community. The community has casitas and there is typically a two hour ordeal if we go to the dining room to eat.

We toured Highpointe and is was a very nice facility in a busy location. The move in fee was a little high at the time that we were looking. They had elevators here and I was looking for a facility that was all one story, so we decided against this one.

Just OK. The entryway to the facility is at the bottom between two traffic lights and the traffic is excessive.

What really stood out to us in the beginning was how clean the community is and it is newer. There are a lot of windows that really bring in natural light. We have not been able to eat the meals ourselves but we do know the residents get 3 meals a day whether they eat in the dining room or have it delivered to their rooms.

Everything's been good except we're very disappointed with the food. What's offered doesn't coincide or align with elderly people and their diets. That's a lot of money to spend per month when my loved one refuses to eat the food. Everything is high in salt and fat, and fried, which doesn't work with managing high blood pressure through diet. There's really nothing except salad I suppose. As far as our loved one's care and their sensitivity and attention to her, that's all been good. And the facility is beautiful. But the food is just not good.

I had done the research on assisted living on behalf of my family, and I thought the two Spectrum communities (The Enclave and Mountain Park) were better than the others I looked into. They seemed to have a more caring and resident-first approach, as opposed to a profit-first approach. The staff at The Enclave is attentive. It's a well-run community. They seem to really care about my loved one. So we're pretty happy with it overall.
