Our family had an in person tour and t was a good experience but the community was just a little older and not going to be the best fit

Some of the things that were offered upfront I have not seen. We were told 2 snacks a day I have not seen that yet. The other is activities. I have not seen one yet. My loved one says the food is terrible.

I think that this is a nice up to date community. They are friendly and senior friendly at this community. They have activities like arts and crafts, movies, bingo, live entertainment and more for the residents to do to stay busy. The staff are very friendly and polite with all of the residents. The tour was great and I got all of the information that I needed.

Overall it's been a very good experience. I think they have really worked to try to get my loved one into the different services that they have, and I think she's well cared for. The facility is tidy, and they have a lot of activities. I've definitely recommended them to others.

The Shawnee Hills community is very close by which is a great thing. However the meals are a big complaint, they are not what we were expecting and they are not sizable portions.

Our family had an in person tour and we liked the location, it is in a good spot and close to home. However we did not feel it was as mature or advanced in memory care for what we were wanting. Maybe it was because the person who gave the tour was not as knowledgeable when it came to memory care, or what but we just did not get that overwhelming feeling that this was the place. The people we did meet with other than the tour guide were all extremely friendly and welcoming.

We chose Green Oaks because when we walked in we got an overall nice feeling. It felt more like a hotel rather than being institutional like some places. It was also very clean. I do feel that they can improve on the move in process, I think they need to be a little more organized on that. I would recommend them to others and already have to some close friends.

Our loved one is enjoying the meal selection they have, and they do have a huge variety of activities which is nice. We like that it is a newer facility, it is updated, contemporary, very bright, clean and welcoming.

I would give a recommendation for someone to come and move to this community. The staff are pretty good and I speak with them often. They communicate well and keep a good relationship with open communication.

Our family had an in person tour and the tour was fine, the staff seemed to be fine, but it did not feel that it was the best for our mom at the time.

Our loved one is still adjusting so they have not taken advantage of the activities or the dining service, but the rehab she has been doing is fantastic. The value for cost is excellent and we would recommend to others.

I would recommend the community to others. My loved one is happy and safe here and this is important to me. The staff are corporative to work with and are attentive to the residents needs. They provide wonderful almost one-on-one care.

I've been recommending them to our other family members, which really says something. It's conveniently located for us. It's clean. I think once they get through Covid they'll be able to rectify some of the staffing issues. They've particularly been having issues retaining cooks, and my loved ones are unhappy with the food as is.

This is a fantastic place outside of the memory care floor. The memory care area has movies, exercises, treats, and more activities for the residents to participate in. The staff is okay to work with. It has been nice to see the same caregivers to get to know them better.

My mom really liked Lincoln Meadows. The apartment was perfect, except it didn’t have central air. It had a wall unit instead, like they have in hotel rooms. The wall unit was big and noisy, and she didn't want to live with that. It was also a huge place that would have involved lots of walking, which was not ideal for her to get around in her condition at the time. But she liked everything else about it.

The meals and dining service sometimes can be a hit or miss but the activities are great. We love the bistro area where families are always encouraged to come and visit and we can play little games. For the holidays they decorated the facility beautifully. There are two care givers specifically [name removed] and [name removed] who are just outstanding, we have really bonded with them. The entertainment ladies are fantastic and so is the physical therapy team. We do have some issues with the billing team but we do believe they are working it out. The entire staff and community is just very warm and inviting.

Our family was able to have an in person tour and we lived at the time very close to the community, and it was brand new. The community and everything we were able to see was very nice.
