I'm not there a lot as I live out of state, but my mom and brother say they are happy and like the place, food, and staff better than the last assisted living place they lived in.

The ladies that greet everyone by door are excellent, makes a point of knowing your name. The kitchen staff are friendly and they too get to know the people drink orders and other things. It's very clean and they have a nice gathering area in front of a fireplace. Where my mom met her new best friend.

My mother is a current resident at Brookdale Barberton. She very much likes living there and frequently compliments the staff and the food. Having spent quite a bit of time there, I can vouch for that myself. In addition to carrying out their regular duties, most staff members will stay and chat with the residents when time permits. Their dedication and commitment is amazing. Every comment, query or complaint from residents and family members alike is taken seriously. The nursing care is first rate and available 24/7. Having a nurse practitioner on call has prevented trips to an outside physician. The centralized pharmacy program is efficient and affordable. Communication with the family is excellent. Call buttons are always answered, and "messes" are dealt with on the spot. Meals are prepared on site, with great attention to variety and good nutrition. Servings are generous, and alternate choices are always available. The food is of a quality you might find at a nice family restaurant...including mouthwatering desserts. The decor isn't exactly modern, but everything is neat, clean and well kept. The hallways are wide and uncluttered, with no perceptible odors. The common areas are cozy and plentiful, including a large front porch that is a popular gathering place in good weather. There is even a private dining area available for reserve by visiting friends and family. The individual apartments are reasonably spacious and quite comfortable. The whole place is beautifully decorated on major holidays. The general atmosphere is more homelike than institutional by far. A few things that could be improved upon: (1) The ability of the kitchen to deal with special diets and dietary restrictions is limited. This is partly because they do not routinely stock the necessary substitutes and partly because the residents legally have the right to make their own food choices. (2) Mom complains repeatedly about the lack of heat in the bathroom. A consequence of safety regulations in an aging facility, this is beyond the scope of local staff to remedy. It is, however, not an ideal situation. (3) Some small things occasionally get overlooked. Although it can be aggravating and annoying at the time, I believe these incidences are a result of understaffing and certainly not due to purposeful neglect. (4) It appears that everyone who works at Brookdale is required to carry a larger and more diverse workload than should reasonably be expected, and there also seems to be a high rate of employee turnover. I'd like to stress that this is a corporate issue. The Brookdale staff makes every effort to get things right. It is much to their credit that everyone is uniformly so patient, kind, and caring under these circumstances. In conclusion: Mom and I are both satisfied that Brookdale Barberton was the best choice in assisted living. Every place will have pros and cons, but the excellent care and genuine concern for the wellbeing of its residents puts Brookdale well above the rest. Highly recommended!

She's very independent so utilizes staff a moderate amount but they're very friendly. Mom is picky so hard to say. Dinner is early, starts at 4:30 and if you come late, you may not get starters like salad or soup. She likes the food well enough though. Staff has been great but as a former hospice nurse, I know when level of care increases, caregivers can be challenged. I've seen some pretty awful caregivers and understand staffing challenges. I pray, mom doesn't ever need a higher level and maintains her abilities until the end. When and if she does though, I'm hopeful that Library Square continues with the care she receives now. To clarify, I have not seen any caregiver at Library Square be awful to any resident. Just fears I have after witnessing things at other facilities. Highly recommend! I've had a few friends stop over to see my mom for a visit and to see the facility for themselves. Two of which are trying to get their loved one moved to a nicer place. They were also impressed! My mom could be the new spokes person for Library Square! She loves it.

Nice clean facility with cute decor. Staff greets you and wishes you a good day when you live. Friend says she’s well taken care of & is comfortable being there. Great sunny outdoor seating area. Calendar is filled with activities.

5 on it all! Fabulous facility with great care, safe and friendly environment, skilled and professional staff, 5 star meals and lots of fun activities and events. I highly recommend this facility!!!!

I have been very satisfied with my experience. Everyone and everything with the facility has been amazing. This is a very emotional decision to make for a loved one. There assistance has been amazing. From the facility manager to the cleaning staff. Everyone is amazing they get know the family and have great care for your loved one.

The Forum is not only welcoming -its full of wonderful well manicured green spaces. The staff is supportive and kind and their kitchen serves top quality meals that would satisfy the most demanding diner. A variety of activities are included. My sweet pup and I are grateful we can call this. HOME !

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The facility is older but well maintained the views and location are top notch. I would definitely recommend. I think it's a good value.

Orchard Park has been wonderful for me and my mother. The staff is always extremely friendly and the new chef is FABULOUS. My mother has had nothing but great things to say and genuinely loves it here. So many great improvements have been made as well.

The community and the workers all work together and make sure the residents are taking care of.

The manager are very nice and personal staff is very caring and take care of all my needs.

I just moved my dad from NY to Florida and have had the most amazingly positive experience with the team at Park Summit. [name removed], our sales counselor, has been the most friendly, efficient, and accommodating professional from the first call all the way through to moving my dad into the facility. Throughout the entire process, she and her team have bent over backwards to make this a good experience for my dad. From our initial discussions regarding budget, timing, and room size, [name removed] has worked to meet all my I can’t say enough about the level of professionalism and friendliness of each and every staff member we’ve encountered at Park Summit. They really care about the health, wellness and comfort of their residents, and that’s evident in their interactions with the residents and their actions when something needs to be handled or addressed. I look forward to a great experience for my dad at Park Summit, and I can rest easily knowing he’s in good hands.

I like it! Front and back door, good view, good food. Haven't eaten much due to medical issues. Activities seem appropriate. Conveniently located to Rapid City. Two vans, one larger, one smaller. Active place!

I love that the staff has been there for a while, and they truly care. I think the sizes are good and the amenities are nice. The rides they give to the doctors appointments activities out every week.

What we like the most about Shawnee Estates Senior Living is the friendliness of all the staff and their care for the residence. The facility is well kept up and clean. Yes, I would recommend this community to other families.

Our experience with my father's time at Magnolia Springs in both assisted living and memory care was excellent. From the facility, to all levels of staff, they exceeded our expectations. The memory care staff is so compassionate and was able to get my father involved in activities, which I thought he would never do. Even the leadership at magnolia springs was easily approachable whenever we had questions.

Very clean, staff for the most part is friendly, positive and helpful, food is much better than most and getting in the door was made quite easy by [name removed] and the other folks there.

My father stayed at MSL for about 3 moths and I couldn't be more pleased with the care and attention he received during his time there. From the moment we walked in, the facility felt welcoming and clean, and we were immediately put at ease by the staff’s professionalism and warmth. The facility itself is well-maintained with spacious rooms and a range of amenities that made my father feel comfortable. They offer a variety of social and recreational activities, which kept my dad engaged and active. I particularly appreciated the family-friendly atmosphere, where everyone seemed genuinely invested in the residents’ well-being. The staff at MSL went above and beyond. From the care team to the housekeeping team, everyone was kind, patient, and responsive to my father's needs. The care was personalized, and it was clear they took the time to get to know him.
