My brother was the one who lived there. He died in January. Based on what my wife and I saw, and our dealing is with the staff, I would give them a 5 on all of the areas.

It's not a dark place when comes to inside lighting. Good open spaces. Wide halls for walking. I've not seen all rooms offered ones with 2 residents are spacious. Good closet space. All have windows facing court yard or outside. Haven't explored the amenities much. Residents can have own TV etc but unless a resident is ill staffers get everyone up and out of their rooms to be among others.

My MIL seems to be really liking it there. It’s easy to communicate with the facility. Always will help when needed. Great food. Friendly people. On the small side, but very quaint which is perfect for my MIL. It’s not like the bigger facilities with a bar and big events all the time but that’s not what we were looking for. Only downside so far is the elevator that goes to the basement stinks like a basement and is very over powering.

Friendly staff. Great activities. Very clean. Regular outings to a variety of places. Staff is responsive and follows through. Perfect location. Very welcoming to visiting family. Rooms are a good size and easily accommodated furniture.

I have been thoroughly impressed with this facility. Management and all staff are professional, loving, kind, very good listeners,accommodating and personable. My Mother adapted very quickly because of all of these things. Her apartment is very nice. The meals and dining facility are above standard. The entire facility is like a huge house. Comfortable, clean and it always smells nice. I reviewed 14 different facilities before we chose this one. I am very pleased and more importantly my Mother is very pleased. I highly recommend this facility.

My brother and I are so happy with Brookedale Whitby. The community is small and tight knit. We chose this location over the other assisted living facilities because of its homey feel and welcoming staff. We are so thankful for the Whiby team and residents for welcoming my brother with open arms.

Life at at Calusa Harbor can only be described as relaxed living. The people here are friendly and the views are beautiful if you like living on the water. Downtown is within walking distance and it’s got quaint shops and eateries. I’m loving my life in independent living here at the Calusa Harbor. And don’t let me forget about the dinning. It’s wonderful my husband and I haven’t had to buy groceries since we moved in two months ago.

Everyone at calusa harbor has been fantastic!! Mom has been there for 1 mth now and can't say enough good things about it. My mother is legally blind and a high fall risk , to ease my mind they offered a fall pendant( for a small fee), which came in handy a few days ago. I was notified right away by the staff at calusa harbor that she had fallen and was ok, but taken to the ER. Mom is fine, her pride is hurt the most. Every time I walk through the door the residents are happy and all say hello! The food is pretty good, some things better than others (per mom) her only complaint is the food is Luke warm at best. But, per Mom, everyone there complains that the food could be hotter. Mom said this is the best decision she has ever made and is the happiest she has been on a long time!! 4.9 stars

I placed my mom here after seeing a few places. The staff treat the residents with respect. They have activities, outings, 2 court yards. The facility is secure and offers memory care. PT on site. The food is good. The staff answer the phone. Management is available and willing to listen. Nowhere is perfect and the price is up there but all facilities are expensive. All in all this is one of the best facilities downriver. This is comming from a nurse who has seen many facilities and also cared for residents here in the past. I saw first hand the level of compassion before I had to make the decision that my mother needed a team of people to care for her. Hope this helps.

I would sat 5 for each. We were very disappointed that she couldn't go back there. Their activity schedule was robust. The food got rave reviews. Her room was very nice and situated on a corner of the building with a bay window. Fresh carpet and paint.

They're in the process of updating it so that's a good thing. Everything has been painted and cleaned. If you talk to my aunt, she will tell you the food could use improvement. I've eaten there a couple of times I didn't have an issue so it's all relative.

he care giving staff are great. They really care about the residents. The rooms are a nice size, with private bathrooms. My mom is in a single private room. The meals are quite good. I just think that they should have alternative meals available, in case a resident doesn't like what is being served.

The friendliness and the quality of care services is a 10. I love how well the staff treat my dad. He has several absolute favorite staff members that work one-on-one with him. I love how responsive the team is when I have a concern. [name removed] at the front desk is a wonder ask anything and she will find out for you. I always recommend during the chores I see people being given that they should put them not put but bring their loved ones to admit to the facility.

Beautiful setting on the Caloosahatchee River in downtown Fort Myers. Lots of fun activities at the facility every day, including live music. Caring staff. Easy to communicate with administration and medical & therapy team about concerns with my mom.

My aunt has been at Morningside in the west end since 2022 and the staff has always been helpful , respectful, and cordial! When I’ve been unable to visit they have contacted me. When she has had some medical issues they have kept me informed and gotten her care. It is comforting to me to know someone is looking out for her!! Thank you!

Moving my father into Cinco Ranch has been the relief and blessing we've looking for. The much needed engagement he's benefiting from makes my heart break with joy. All of his friends who've stopped by agree that he is so much better and happier. Thank YOU Cinco Ranch team for taking good care of him.

What we like the most about The Gables is the overall friendliness, the quality of the care services, the administrative staff and the overall value for cost. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families based on our experience

So far we are super pleased with the facility. Everyone's been super nice, supportive & wonderful with my Mom.

This is a great facility with good staff. Everyone is very friendly. They provide the level of care that my loved one needed.

I would highly recommend them and using A Place For Mom.. I am a discharge planner at a hospital here in Nebraska so I recommend you guys to my own patients who are looking for resources for their parents. my father in law loves it there and we are so glad he is happy and he is with people his own age and who share his interests.. wish we would have moved him there sooner!
