This is A very nice place with good people. My sister is in memory care and she is getting a lot of personal care, especially from [name removed]. She is not bored anymore and is now joining in with group activities. She doesn’t appear to be too lonely. I visit quite often and everything is in perfect order. I am really happy with this place.

My 95 year old Mom has been at Morningside for 3 weeks and is settling in. Staff is wonderful and she really enjoys the food. There are many options for games and entertainment. I highly recommend Morningside of Charlottesville.

So far Brookdale is amazing. My parents have been there about a month. The intake process is very thorough and the people are so friendly. [names removed] went out of their way to make us feel welcome. My mom is in assisted living and lives it. My dad is in memory care and is adjusting slowly. The mc staff is very helpful and [name removed] is absolutely amazing. With time I hope he likes it too.

The residents there are so friendly and staff attentive and like family. Lots if activities Best place and timing was perfect. We have 4 family members there now and I would no doubt go there when the need arises.

My experience with my mom went very well. Very grateful for the support and knowledge of the process. I will definitely use the program again I’d needed for any other additional care

One of my favorite things about Oak Hill Terrace is how friendly the staff and residents are. I love to make people smile, a smile doesn’t cost anything! [name removed] is very creative and I really enjoy the activities here at Oak Hill Terrace. I really enjoyed Coffee with the Executive Director, [name removed]is compassionate and kind!

We're really happy with it. I live in San Diego and have never been there. But my sister, who lives nearby and visits my mom, is very happy with the place. My mother says she is too.

Birchwoods is very clean and cheerful. The programming ladies are genuine and do their very best to meet the needs of every resident. The location and atmosphere cannot be beat. Multiple directors have been there long term and truly care about what they are doing Chef takes the time at the beginning of meals to engage with each resident, getting to know their individual needs and preferences. The business office manager will take the time to support in anyway she can. The community resource director truly cares about helping your loved one find the right place for them. There are some fantastic genuine staff and their core team is compassionate and gentle. It is an AL2 so it is not the appropriate placement for anyone who wanders but perfect for those who want to maintain their independence as long as possible. The directors-[name removed], [name removed], [name removed] and [name removed] are the kindest people and you can trust them to address anything. Highly recommend Birchwoods for assisted living!

I would highly recommend Walnut Creek. They are good and always keeping me updated.

Be mindful that it's like your first apartment... can hear the resident above you drop something in the uncarpeted areas, run their washer, etc. Hallway noise isn't much of a problem and when the elevators are down it's a nuisance. But I really am enjoying it here.

It was perfect for my father in law. [name removed] did a great job keeping me informed of available options for us. Easy move in with no issues.

The staff has treated my mom with the upmost respect. They are very polite and professional. My mom is happy there and thriving!

Mom was skeptical about moving into Five Star. She told us she'd only go if it was temporary till we found a different solution. Now you couldn't get her to leave! She says living at Five Star is like 'summer camp' or a 'cruise ship' where she has events at every hour of the day. The campus is bright and cheery and the staff are THE BEST. There are fancier places (as in more expensive) but I don't think senior live gets any better than at Five Star.

The staff and faculty are very friendly and helpful to satisfy the needs of the residents, they go out of their way to make sure that we have a safe environment and a healthy atmosphere at all times I rate my experience at a 5 for every thing.

Overall it's a very warm and welcoming environment, staff is friendly and attentive. Clean and safe space. Food is a lot of frozen/heated pizza etc. so would like to see fresher. Would like more activities too, but realize memory care residents aren't always receptive/active.

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Management is constantly updating and upgrading facilities. I also highly recommend: A Place for Mom.

Very inviting and understanding of the situation. Most people don't want to leave their home, they understood that and made it feel comfortable.

I cannot say enough good about this facility. Our family went through unimaginable horrors with our previous AL facility. THIS TEAM is exactly what my father needed. He is very well cared for and is thriving like he never EVER could at his previous facility. He is very happy and doesn't ever just sit in his room like previous institution. They have the best team of healthcare in any facility I've ever had to deal with for my dad. My heart feels so full everytime I see my father and I have every confidence he is exactly where he should be and being cared for by the best!!! This team should be copied and placed in every facility!!! Hands down the best I've ever seen in my 33 years in healthcare!!!!! Thank you!!!!

The caregivers at Creekside are lovely people, and they truly cared for my mom. She was on hospice for the last few months and I'm so glad because they were able to let us know several days before she died so that my sister was able to fly in to say goodbye.

The staff is amazing- value is great-friendly is 5- cleanliness is 5-overall, it may be a 5. Activities seem to be a 5. Yes, we would recommend Lewis Park Estates Senior Living to other families based on the experience so far.
