They do have some amazing staff members if I could clone and take them with us I would in a heart beat! Our issues really steamed with clinical leaders and inappropriate comments and remarks made upset we didn't want to use there medical staff and that we involved the ombudsman to help resolve concerns. We had no idea it would be such a nightmare then again they didn't realize just how involved we were she is a very special woman to us and we really her biggest advocates. I wouldn't recommend this place without asking more questions and using cameras in room to monitor family members to ensure they have eaten or been offered food

Rude personnel Disrespectful personnel Additional skilled personnel is desperately required Dining hall tables are unclean (food caked underneath table rims) Dining hall carpet is not cleaned on a regular basis Cold food Poor food quality Very small vegetable portions Lack of nutritional green vegetables Extremely slow food distributions to residents in the dining hall Extremely slow response times to residents' rooms Most of the MedTechs are courteous Residents are not getting what they are paying for. All personnel needs training in dealing with the needs of blind residents

My husband was a resident in memory care. He had Alzheimer's and he had behaviors which is why we needed to place him there. Unfortunately they don't seem to be able to handle dementia patients with behaviors, they seemed panicked and told us we had to put him on antipsychotic medicine for him to stay there.One of the reasons we chose the place was because they had a huge calendar of activities but turns out they didn't really do any activities. Residents were put in the living room and watch movie after movie day after day. I was there every day for many hours. I was constantly promised they were going to get an activities director , that never happened. My husband fell and broke his hip and after his surgery and return to Orchard Park he fell constantly. Many times I would come and he would be sitting in urine completely soaked. Totally unacceptable. The caregivers were great but there weren't enough. Night shift did not check on him every two hours.

Do not use Briar Glen if you care about your loved ones. I just found out they never started my mom on the new drugs that were prescribed by the hospital. They were not treated with dignity and respect at Briar Glen.

Poor care was given we moved mom out of the facility. The food choices are terrible and they can't keep staff. We moved to another facility by Walmart and are so much happier. Would never recommend this facility to anyone

First, before my 95 year old father entered the facility, the management lost his 35 page application and his $[removed] check. [name removed], the administrator took my calls and apologized however once my dad entered the facility, she never responded to my emails. Second, they told us and it was written in the contract that my dad would get 3 showers a week. All of a sudden, they tell me they had a policy change and he only gets 2 showers. Disgusting. We had to fight to get back to the 3 shower regimen. Third, my dad soiled his adult diapers one night and the aid berated my dad! She then cut some other unused diapers and shoved them in the front of his dirty diaper instead of just changing him. I wanted to take my dad out Of there at that point. Keep in mind, these incidents occurred within 2 weeks after he entered The Court at PalmAir. We had to go to the director of nursing and report this incident. The food tasted like defrosted TV dinners. I regret bringing my dad here.

Mom was only there for [date removed] before I moved her out. *Carpet and upholstered furniture had brown stains and smelled like urine *Staff was agency and the majority of them could not speak English *Went to [name removed] and [name removed] several times over issues and the response I received was, sorry you feel that way. *Meals were less than appealing and what I tasted was unacceptable. *Mom was 8 out 10 times dressed in someone else's clothing, (I had moms name ironed in her clothing) or dresses with stuff on backwards. also had other people glasses on. I could go on and on about my feelings and my disappointment but I'm only listing facts. I would NEVER RECOMMEND THAT FACILITY.

My mother passed away after being in this facility for 3 weeks. She does have underlying conditions, obviously, that were managed very well for 2.5 years while she lived with my brother. But my brother had a tragedy happen so he needed to find a place that would take care of her. I do believe this facility led to my mothers death. She was taken to the emergency room 3 times in the 3 weeks she was there. She went straight to hospice the last time were she lasted 2 days and we said good bye to her. When she went to the er this last time her sugar was 1400. She is diabetic and it is sometimes unregulated but 1400!!! The memory care wing where she was has 25 residents to 2 cna's. The wing smells like urine constantly. They lost her clothes, her comforter, a blanket she had to replace the comforter, they lost her teeth! They do no memory activities but leave them in chairs or beds all day. This place needs to do better. They need to be held accountable

The direct care staff are very caring and concerned about their patients. The food is pretty bad, and rooms aren't kept clean. The office manager also unlocks the main door for visitors and she is really unfriendly.

It was absolutely the worst experience and I would NEVER recommend them for anyone you love. Improvements would be to - change management and staff. Morningside of Bellgrade is horribly ran

They are way under staffed and they portray as it is a beautiful place when you tour, but once you give them your money and your significant other and our loved one is there, they don't get treated very well.

Awful experience and horrible people. They let the residents with dementia roam the halls and walk into rooms, in the middle of the night. There was NO supervision at night and zero accountability. They dumped my brother in the hospital waiting room and left him.

We felt very pressured to take an existing opening by [name removed] and [name removed] in the Memory Care Unit. Their main selling point was the attention given to the patient. Over and over they said the patient would be treated like family. We were assured [name removed] is very available to all. Unfortunately, our loved one was taken to the emergency room and admitted to the hospital, shortly after moving to Magnolia Springs. We were never contacted by anyone from Magnolia Springs to check on her condition. So much for being treated like family. Naively, we thought someone would reach out to us. Possibly [name removed], “ the patient whisperer “. After a few days, we called and spoke to the Memory Care director. She was kind and concerned. We are thankful to her. Our loved one passed a week later. Our experience was not at all like their sale pitch.

UNDERSTAFFED, INADEQUATE CARE FOR RESIDENTS, NOT VERY CLEANED,BIG TURNOVER OF STAFFING, RUNS OUT OF FOOD AT THE SECOND SITTING. NO ACTIVITIES. YOU NEED TO WAIT OVER 35 MINUTES FOR STAFF TO ARRIVE INTO THE ROOM.

My mom moved out of the Arboretum. She was very unhappy there. Everything was definitely a 1 EXCEPT the staff was 5 being they tried hard with what they had to work with. Staff being the workers. The director sucked...both directors

I did not like the place and their office coordinators. None of the staff had experience in Parkinson . They never cared to see to his need. I was there every other day because I did not trust them

After just 3 months there our experience has been BAD. My uncle is an amputee and a veteran on full disability. Our experience has been negative since move in day when we arrived with him and his things to be told we couldn't move in that day as a nurses evaluation was needed first. After some "discussion" the nurse on duty evaluated him and he moved in. This was preventable with communication. ACH payments were not offered at application and not mentioned until asked. No invoice was received for the 1st months rent. That was mailed, deposited but never credited to his account. The ACH paperwork was also lost. Although we stated clearly several times that his medical care and meds come from the VA no one mentioned that they don't contract with the VA causing us additional costs. Add to this the over powering smell of urine when you enter the doors, AND feces in the hall floor for over an hour! We pay $500 /m for care but no one helps or prompts him to bath on a regular basis.

This facility did not provide a safe or home like environment. My father in law was denied fresh air on the court yard and the facility could not offer adequate staffing. The facility charged over [amount removed] for four full months, but he was only there two and a half months. He is now in a capable and caring environment, safe and home like. He is actually allowed to get fresh air in the courtyard too. So glad he left Ontario Estates and went to [community name removed].

Poor security, spider webs everywhere, cleaning staff have residents sit in the hall as they attempt to clean, no receipts given for meals, employee turnover is high, laundry room dirty, trash room NASTY, price has gone up twice in one year, (YES 2x’s) and more importantly my mom has now gone 2 weeks with no air conditioning!!! Went to buy a fan, because the work order has not been acknowledge (meaning it’s not her turn..really!) My mom likes the activities and the people. If this isn’t fixed by the end of the week…I will be calling the Dept of Aging. Come on Fountainview $[removed]a month and you can’t guarantee safety and air conditioning and that’s the minimum. The people running Executive Drive need an update…bring the others back that were there in 2022. STOP hiring people that don’t care.

My loved one was previously a resident at Orchard Park at Victory Lakes and the overall experience was terrible. Based on the experience, I would not recommend this facility to others.
