Similar to Kenwood. Care suites feel very homey- good caregiver ratio. Lots of light. The re-make of the spaces makes them feel a little confusing. Rooms are smallish. Bathrooms are shared. Units for 4 or 6 residents. Also had residents on the floor who keep room doors open as a part of access to assisted living on the floor. 10th floor.

Nice but more restrictive than Mom needs. No showers in the Studios.

They require 2 years out of pocket pay before they will accept Medicaid. Right now that is a dicey option.

We toured with the Director. Beautiful facility w/many ammenities and activities. Price of rent is fair, but many extra charges makes it pretty pricey. 3 meals a day included in rent--wish they had a 1 meal/day plan. We didn't see many people today so don't know about interaction among residents. 3 stars because of cost.

Looks like they have 2 bedroom with terrace/patio. This would be nice. Looks small.

We toured 3 times, but Thelma never felt comfortable. She liked it when the tour guide talked to her instead of me. I really like the place, however.

The staff is wonderful and the place is still undergoing renovations, when they are finished the appearance will be terrific. Administrative and sales staff are super kind and caring. They are undergoing another change of management and it has been horrific. The assisted living staff are just not with it or doing what they are supposed to do. The food is so far from being on the ball. They are short handed and unable to serve meals in the dining room so the food is either delivered or picked up. We are trying to give the new management a chance before moving our loved one out.

I would not recommend this community. I expected better communications from the staff, I also would have liked more effort with communicating with my mother also.

This is an aging community that is not aging well.

My Mother-in-law has been at Morningside of Belgrade since February [date removed]. While I gave an overall rating of a three, there are some things that rate higher and some rate lower. Cleanliness of the overall facility is great. They empty her trash in her room a few times a day. However, they are supposed to clean the room once a week, but there are always crumbs on her floor, toilet seat is not wiped, furniture has not been dusted since she moved in and there is a tissue that has been under her bed for two months. I do pick up and change her sheets if needed when I am there, however feel this should be part of her care. and wet sheets are left on the bed. Part of the problem is my mother-in-law does not always have on a pull-up, therefore she gets in bed. We are furnishing bed pads, however, they are not always on her bed and mattress cover as well as mattress gets wet. They seem to be short staffed, which I am sure creates some of the problem. Also lack of communication between the on staff Dr/Nurse practioner She has had two UTI’s since she has been there and no follow-up from Dr, with us about her status. These issues tend to be w it’s the day shelf employers. We do like the convenience.

IT IS UNFORTUNATE WHEN WE HAVE TO PLACE OUR LOVED ONES, THE MONTHLY COST IS NOT CHEAP. I'M DISAPPOINTED WITH THE UNSANITARY FURNITURE AND FLOORS ,URIN SMELL AT AUTUMN LEAVES PEARLAND. I HAVE ADDRESSED THIS TOPIC TO UPPER MGMT. IT IS NOT A GOOD THING FOR ANYONE. STAFF AND FAMILY MEMBERS TO NOT WANT TO SIT AND OR VISIT WHEN A GREAT MAJORITY OF THE FURNITURE IS SO SOILED. IT CAN CAUSE OTHER BACTERIA ILLNESS.

We were very disappointed. Although it was a beautiful facility, we found that what had been promised was not being delivered. "Chef-prepared, farm-to-table" meals came out of a can or box. Foods were often unpalatable or hard on elderly digestive systems. "Timely responses" were rare, some even up to an hour. Although most of the staff seemed to truly care, they were too understaffed to really have quality time with the residents.

NOT AS SOLD! VERY DISAPPOINTED. MOTHER MOVED TO BETTER CARE AND THRIVING UNLIKE FORWOOD. LIKED AT FIRST, BUT REALIZED QUICKLY THEY DONT GIVE A [profanity removed] AND WILL NICKLE AND DIME TILL YOU HAVE NOTHING OR A FAMILY TO REMOVE THEM THEM FROM $ SUCK. HAVE REPORTED TO OMBUDSMAN ON SKILLED NURSING.
