Don't take your loved one here. When I met with the staff they told me that they would handle things one way but they was not very professional and did not have good communication when I needed help with taking care of my loved ones needs, they then sent me a bill after my loved one passed away and I'm still waiting for them to respond and to give me a refund.

This had an older feel during our tour.

thank goodness my loved one does not have many needs and rarely asks for much. this makes it easy to just shut her in her room all day. clothing is not changed for days. i do not believe state minimum bathing, or any records of a refusal to get a bath, are being kept. i have been doing laundry and picking up the slack of house cleaning. repeatedly late to medical appointments and even a scheduled surgery, no matter how many times i have called to give reminders. no one noticed she had a loose partial flopping around in her mouth, or broken front teeth during lockdown. nursing and kitchen are providing reliable service.

I would tell others that they have 24 hour nursing supposedly, but the staff to residents ratio is not as good. Our issue has was the lack of supervision and a lot of falls were not witnessed. Due to our experience I would not recommend to others.

The dining room is back to being open and the activities are opened as well. However, this community would use some improvement with their staffing, they have had a lot of turnover rates recently. They also do not do a good job communicating with the residents or their families, and the level of medical assistance they provide is not where it should be.

Nice facility but there were too many items that just didn’t check the box on my list. I can’t quite put my finger on it but I didn’t give me a warm and fuzzy!

the director of the community was wonderful. There have been a few issues with billing. If you have Kizer insurance don't go here, they had issues with paperwork on more than one occasion. I would not recommend this community to others

The day to day caregivers were great. The administrative team and nurse not so good. My loved one's room wasn't the cleanest. My loved one had a TV that was to mount on the wall initially. When I went to see my loved one, they had stacked the TV on top of a nightstand and a chest. They lost the leg supports on the wheelchair, then they lost the wheelchair. The staff tried blaming the loss of the wheelchair on me for not putting my loved one's name on it, I let the community know I did put my loved one's name on the wheelchair. They then found a new wheelchair for me. I wouldn't recommend this community to anyone. There were times they didn't seem to go check on residents when I was seeing my loved one. The community isn't good at returning calls. They tried blaming this on the receptionist.

The community is very expensive and raised our rate right away. They are also not very attentive. I would not recommend this community others. Communication was not good and

We do like the location, the apartments and the facility itself. However we get no feedback at all regarding the treatment plan our loved one is supposed to be on. We have asked for months to get anything at all and once we did we were shocked at what little treatment was in place. Our loved one is not getting the care they needed and we are not getting the feedback we need.

It is different for everybody, this wasn't for our loved one. This was too independent for our loved one. My loved one needs more medical care. I don't think they have enough staff for the community. The communication people only work during the week, and not the weekend. The weekend staff no ones knows how to do virtual calls on the weekend. They seem inadequate.

I do not have anything against the workers here, and overall it is a good community. However being in a wheel chair I sometimes do not get all the assistance I need, and if I need more assistance they will tack on more fees.

The community promised more than they delivered, The communication is not very good, They struggle to return phone calls. I would not recommend this community to others.

My mom was injured and they did not contact me to let me know. When I saw her injury no one knew what had happened or let me know she was hurt. Communication was not good in this community and I would not recommend this community.

I needed a location that would allow my service dog and 2 emotional support dogs. When I signed my 2 month lease I stated several time I had my three dogs and was reassured that wouldn’t be a problem. But in the dining area they didn’t want my service dog there. I had to tell them the law. Socialization, activities none. Maintenance never helped with my carpet. I had a fall and spent several days in the hospital. Upon return I spend tine in the medical unit. There I witnessed staff belittling 2 residents and treating me like a leaper. They required I take a COVID test, but 2 months I am still waiting. And I’m waiting for my COVID injection. And was told I had to get rid of my dogs. I came because I was told I could have my three dogs. Staff that delivers my meals are ok if you like your drinks spilled on the tray. Staff that deliver the mail are friendly. Can’t get involved in any activities. I came so I could keep my 3 dogs I love the location but,

They rased our fees each month and the billing was always incorrect. The head nurse was fantastic, but the community was not well run. I would not recommend this community to others

Magnolia Springs, is basically a group home, and they don't qualified staff for memory care. There is no on-sight nurse or doctor. They have problems with the medical portion of the community. They didn't have any certified medicine technicians on site, and were reluctant to give certain medications to residents. My loved one was there for less than a year. There were times that my loved one had sores on their body. The family discovered this and not the community.

The staff was all very nice, and the facility was clean. The hospice service was amazing but the normal day to day before hospice was hit or miss. I would recommend this facility to others it's similar to other facilities out there. It worth taking a look to see if they would fit your needs.

Due to the bug I would say not to come to this community. They've cut down on activities that there is hardly anything for us to do. The food isn't good. I'm sorry I'm here. They are allowing us to eat in the dining room again. The room is too small for me, and has a tiny kitchenette.
