I liked the facility but I really didn’t get the feel that they were truly about the people. Seems more fake than real.

They are doing a lot of renovations--painting, carpets etc. so it is difficult to rate. It is difficult for me adjusting to this facility--it will be nice when finished but coming from a larger and more active assisted living facility it is hard. The staff is helpful and the best part is the food is very good.

Food Service is good, activities are good, place is mostly well kept Can improve AC and Heat maintenance

The food--for the entire eight months my mom was there, they repeatedly promised that they were revamping the menus. It never happened. And the servers were rude to most of the residents. The administration changed three times while she was there. The last one told everyone my mom was leaving without asking her permission which made her very uncomfortable . It often smelled like urine in the lobby and hallways. The activities were the same thing over and over again. Also it was often understaffed and some of the caregivers obviously did not enjoy their jobs.

There is not enough staff and they have forgotten to come in the morning at least 8 times to get mom for breakfast. They leave her downstairs after a meal for hours before someone comes to push her back to her room. The apartment size is ok. She can wait for hours after pushing the button for help. She is moving out at the end of the month.

overall a 3 from each of them would be the highest. That is why my sister decided to move. All staff were friendly and tried to be helpful in spite of not enough staff.

We chose Windermere Estates for respite care following surgery. The administrative and day-to-day staff were extremely friendly. A person looking at the facility needs to understand that they are going in to Assisted Living / Memory Care type facility to set expectations of new resident. The activity director is amazing, and very engaging and dedicated to keeping residents involved. The food has much to be desired though.

They are understaffed. They literally have one caregiver for the whole complex. Many of the staff act like they dont care. They actually will roll their eyes at the residents. And they talk about them in the open. The food here is absolutely horrible! The residents complain non stop about rhe food and no one cares! They keep promising to make it better but nothing happens.

3. Facilities are nice, staff is warm & wonderful, food is good. But because they are ALWAYS short handed needs cannot be met. 2 people to cover 3 floors doesn't cut it.

If I had something nice to say I would but I don't have good recommendations for them. At the court, if you wanna leave, you have to pay for an additional 30 day even if you're not there less than a month and you have to pay the community fee over freak out.

I’ve been here for about two years. I really like the people. I go to activities and play bingo and do my diamond art, and make art projects. I live close to family so the can come and have lunch with me .

Make sure you're actually visiting your family member and paying attention to what's happening. Promises are after not delivered on, and the CNAs are not to be trusted.

Their food is horrible. A few of the residents have stated they get sandwiches, hotdogs or even half a baked potato with green beans for dinner and the aides help to cook the meals. The Residents dont like the food. They say it's horrible and they don't given them enough food. With the amount they charge, their meals should consist of a lot more (starch, protein and vegetable)

The admin Staff and the cleanliness. Communication with the family needs work. Several "misunderstandings" the level of care provided was not what we were told it would be.

Like: My brother enjoys the musical entertainment they bring in. Dislike: [fee removed]/month penalty for "reluctance to care" which made sense several months ago but now feels like being charged for services we're not receiving; staff in no hurry to remove the charge Dislike: Maintenance requests go unserviced for too long; my brother's bathroom heater has been broken for three months Dislike: High staff turnover; two executive directors and two maintenance men have left since the beginning of this year, for example

I am going to be very neutral. The last year of changes have been tough on the staff I'm sure. Not to mention the residents. I have not had the calls from staff as I used to have. Not sure if that is a good thing or not.

Since he has been here there has been a lot of staff turnover and he's had money stolen from his room.

5 Star is very understaffed. Their ability to respond is slow because of this. Don't be fooled by introductory offers - we are now paying $[removed] more than 1 year ago!

The nurses and administration are GREAT. The facility is clean, the food is pretty good though the portions seem small , but I eat too much and would greatly benefit from eating smaller portions. They have good activities vs putting cotton balls on Santa's beard. This was one of the activities at [community removed] and I was simply appalled. In regard to the aides. Some are viably bored and get frustrated with dad bc he has declined , gets confused and is very weak. He is a two-person assist. This one aide kept rolling her eyes. I told her she should work in another field. I was already upset with her because she had turned off the heat in dad's room. She told me it was just so hot in there. I told her it wasn't her room and after it happened again, I put a sign on the thermostat requesting that no one change the temperature in his room. Some of the aides have rolled their eyes, ignored him when he was asking them questions. Ignored him when they would still hold onto his hands even though he has several skin tears on his hands and arms. Obviously, I am having some issues with some of the aides lately.

The care services depends on day. The staff is ever changing so not sure 3 maybe. When it comes to the activities it depends on the day, and right now the value for cost is a 3 at best. Cleanliness is best and really like some of the staff. That said they are understaffed and it makes care inconsistent
