Things seem to be working fine here. I don't have any major complaints. The staff is friendly, the place is clean. I don't ever hear anything about the food. So far we are pretty happy with them. I give them a four out of five.

Very nice administrators offered us great lunch. And secretaries very friendly. If it weren't for Rt. 70 and all the noisy traffic being in front of bldg. I'd have chosen this place.

I was a resident for two months in January and February. My only complaint was the Physical Therpy Contracted group. Some did not seem to realize that most of the persons were elderly. They said they had guidelines they must follow. Seemed like the guidelines included younger than 40 years instead of an 82 year old with injured knees and a torn rotator cup. Nursing care and aides were great except for weekends. Food service did not follow a person needs who was diabetic or mechanical soft diet.

They were very helpful when we moved in. The maintenance man was very quick to assist with anything we needed, such as help with curtain rods and getting the television installed. The apartment is clean and it is a very nice quaint quiet place. As soon as you walk in you immediately feel comfortable.

We visited this community while we were looking into care options for our loved one. This seemed like a very nice place, and it was definitely one were considering! The staff were very friendly, and seemed very communicative with families, which I liked.

I think they should have more cottages , they only had a few.

Our loved one has been in both the assisted living and the alzheimer's care. We are so grateful to have found Park Place. Everyone we've spoken to from the Director to personal caregivers are so helpful and thoughtful. What they don't know they will find out and get back to you. Our loved one has gained weight from the delicious food and feels special because of the caregivers. There were a few minor hiccups in the beginning when everyone was getting to know each other but we all stuck it out and are so very glad we have. In our experience with our other loved one living at another facility, the hiccups in the beginning are not at all unusual. The only thing that could use improvement is the cleanliness or lack thereof. It is an older facility so try not to judge harshly and we think so highly of all the staff it just isn't the most important item on our list. Yes, we are very particular about cleanliness but we do know our priorities. There are so many personal services and things for the residents to do and caregivers to spend time with our loved one that we are happy, happy.

Things are going well overall at Brookdale McMinnville. The staff here are very attentive and friendly, and I like that they pay close attention to the needs of the residents. We originally moved my loved one into the memory care unit, but after they observed him for a while they suggested he transfer to assisted living instead, as they thought it would be a better match for him. He really seems to be enjoying himself here! He has made friends with the resident cat, which I know went a long way in winning him over.

I think they do an excellent job overall at Magnolia Springs! The staff here is friendly and very attentive to the needs of the residents. I feel like my Mom is in a safe place! The facility itself is clean and well kept, and feels very light and open. For the price the apartments are a very good size! I would recommend Magnolia Springs to others looking into senior living in the area.

Although Dad has only been there about a month, he seems happy and is adjusting fairly well to new routines. Everyone is friendly and helpful.

The staff is caring and take care of my mother, everything seems fine.

Mt Arlington is a lovely assisted living facility. The overall staff are friendly and the facility kept very clean and decorated beautifully. The Bridge to Rediscovery Unit (aka-dementia unit) however, needs some improvement in communication with staff and family members. These residents have no one to communicate for them. If questions are asked regarding their activities or care, you do not always get an answer. As this is not a nursing home, there is no documentation as to how their day went, how they slept, if showered etc. We are asked to question the nurse about all these things. As she visits these residents she is aware of their medical needs but isn't there all day to know all these answers. As you must be an advocate for an ill parent or loved one, you need to question things. Unfortunately, you feel certain nursing staff(director) trying to avoid you and will not even acknowledge you. This is disappointing, but overall they are friendly and try hard to accommodate you. The staff does their best on a floor that I'm sure can be very difficult. Activities on this floor, again, while difficult, need extra hands to assist. Perhaps trying to reach out to nearby towns, schools,churches etc for volunteers to assist with crafts, games etc.

Loved the facility even though it is in a state of active repair/ remodel it is nice to know they upkeep. The residents seemed genuine and social and the physical rehab facility is great. They worked with us so quickly and efficiently and is the place we have chosen.

Mom and 3 friends lived here so we visited often. When keeping up with our property became too great a burden we didn't think twice about moving to the Isles. It has about 200 apartments in several configuration all of which have more space than most senior communities we've toured. (Size D O E S count if you're downsizing!) Facilities--Yes, it' is older and absolutely everything is painted the same old white color. For those of us coming from homes with granite countertops; stainless steel appliances, and over-the-range microwaves the kitchens will be a letdown. But hey, with three meals a day prepared by a professional chef I don't plan to be cooking all that often anyhow. (Yea!) Meals--Speaking of meals there are always choices on the menu. Although I would prefer wandering in for lunch whenever I want, the set meal times have an advantage--the staff, from executives on down--are there to help serve. It's a good way to build relationships with those you might not otherwise have the opportunity to know. Table seating is not assigned which makes getting acquaintance with a variety of neighbors. Activities--The scheduled activities are endless. You'd need a Downton Abbey staff to help you dress for each different event in a given day. If that's not your cup of tea, relax. You can always stay in with a good book. People seem to respect each other's privacy here. Books...the library is small. The DVD collection smaller yet. There's only one (1!) computer with Internet service for everyone to use. For those of us who can't live without 24/7 internet access paying Comcast (whose basic TV service is free to all residents) looks like the only option. (Downer.) Parking--Open parking is free. Covered spaces cost extra. Judging from the number of mobies heading to the dining room at mealtime doubling the number of handicap parking spaces wouldn't hurt a bit. Laundry--once a week they will change your bedding and towels--your's or the ones they provide. There are free wasters and dryers throughout the facility, and each unit has the hook ups for your own equipment. Maintenance--is Johnny on the spot and SO helpful. This is what we left home for. How 'bout you?

We toured here in searching for an alternative to our current place. It was kind of the same set up here and situation, as where we are now. It doesn't make sense to move to something we already have.

This place seems to be the best place for quality care for the memory impaired in the eastern area of the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Somewhat pricey, but you get what you pay for.

They are doing an good or excellent job in just about everything. The food is fine. I haven't had a lot of experience, I haven't seen a lot of other places, to give a five, but I don't have any complaints.

I love it there. We are really happy with Elmcroft. I don't get complaints about food. It's really clean, and the staff there is the best part. They are great. I am very pleased at this point.

Overall things have gone well with Elmcroft of Bedford! The people here are really friendly, and they do a great job looking out for the residents.The place itself is nice and clean, and they seem to have a lot to provide for the people who live here!
