I've heard stories from others about bad situations at other establishments but I have never had any complaints or issues at Brookstone. We have been very pleased with the care of my mother has experienced and the communication has been good. Placing a look at one and at her facility is always a tough decision but we have never regretted our decision or choice.

I am content with the overall daily life here at Elmcroft. The general populace is a good representation of my age group. I would like to see a better response time when we press our call buttons. The food could do better, a different variety, I have to watch my carbs. When one of the staff members came to take my blood sugar she was not prepared she didn't know what to do, she should have been trained better. It's very pleasant. I enjoy the staff and other residents.

I love all the activities as for the food I just don't care for casseroles. So if something is not to my liking I can always get a chef salad or a baked potato. I am concerned that the frozen pre-packaged food/meat items we get contain too much sodium. The staff is friendly, I appreciate being able to get all of my necessary shots here at Elmcroft.

I enjoy the activities that are offered. The food is good most of the time. I feel that over other similar AL's Bedford ranks right up there! Elmcroft has addressed and met all of my needs. Would like more games in the AR, as well as field trips. I know the bus has been in the shop for the last 2 months. I appreciate being able to get my flu shots here at Elmcroft.
