The memory care is the part that we looked at in Cedar Ridge. I didn't feel it was the right fit. It was getting to be dinner time and the residents were all congregating around. They were waiting until a certain time for the dining room to be open. I'm sorry it just seemed kind of creepy. [removed] Also I didn't like that they didn't even have the option to lock the bedroom doors. We ended up going with a smaller facility.

I enjoyed the visit, they were very kind and knowledgeable about memory care. Refreshing to know that they are very familiar with these types of patients and their challenges.

Hudson Creek Alzheimer's Special Care Center is going well. We get updates from them. It has been has been good. The doctor there did a full capacity evaluation. She gave us the nitty gritty details of all of his health issues. After the evaluation we felt even better about him being at this facility.

So far our experience with Magnolia Springs Bridgewater has been a good one! We've had some experience with other communities in the area, and for the price Magnolia Springs offers a great array of care and services. The facility is clean and well kept, and the staff all seem friendly and professional. We did have a small issue with the staff not being entirely prepared for one aspect of my loved one's care, despite our mentioning it specifically during the touring process. But they've been working on it, and it is getting better.

We were there for a month. They did a really good job of making my Parents feel welcome, getting them settled in and their care in general. The biggest problem was that the room was not set up for two people in Respite care. That made it hard for them to get around that.

When we were looking for options we checked here, and we liked it. They were really excited to have him, but determined they didn't have enough staff to properly care for him. We were kind of disappointed this didn't work out, it seemed like it would have been a great place.

The staff is friendly and helpful and the facility is clean and well maintained. When you walk in, there is a homey, inviting atmosphere. Seems like a comfy, cozy place. Great food and service.

I was a little put out because it costed me so much and my Husband was only there for 4 days. He passed on. The care seemed fine, but again he was not there long.

I would like to see the staff at Elmcroft of Cy-Fair help with her daily care more. They don't seem to have enough time to help and are a little understaffed. Other than that overall we have been pretty satisfied with our experience at this facility.

The staff at Farmington Square at Salem were really there for us. The only thing I noticed is they changed the head staff quite a bit. I would definitely recommend this facility. It was a very good experience here. My step mom really did not want to go there. One of the caregivers gave her a shower and pampered her and it really helped her feel better. The music programs were a real key to keeping my dad and step mom there. They ended up really liking it at this facility.

Enjoyed a detailed tour by Kirk! He spent lots of time w/ us,asking questions about the needs of my father and then describing and showing all that Elmcroft has to offer. The studio(private)rooms were of good size, however, due to increasing the occupancy in the Memory Care wing the private Studios will not be available to the AL residents. The Vitality Suite w/a shared bathroom & living area will be offered. The bedroom area was small, probably a full size bed would be as large as you could go but the area was comfortable. Nice to have that living area to use as you like. Kirk & staff all seem very capable & caring about the residents. Guest parking was very limited.

It was great during the time he was there. The staff was great. There isn't really anything I would have liked to have seen done different or better. They are doing the best they can with what they have.

So far, so good. This place seems to be a pretty good facility. The workers are caring and the people who live here seem happy. Clean, consistent, friendly and dependable. Thank you so much.

I've heard wonderful things about the care from the staff. Unfortunately my mother preferred having her own kitchenette and more storage at another facility with more room space as well. Unfortunately Elmcroft doesn't even provide for a mini fridge and not enough storage in the bathroom or living area in their studio rooms.

I think they have done really well. Both of my grandparents are there together. My grandfather does not hear well. What the staff perceives as them fighting is not fighting. This is the way they communicate. They get along, but I feel that the staff was jumping to conclusions without knowing the situation. They suggested separate living quarters, but there is no need for that.

Mom is in her first month at Elmcroft and is doing remarkably well. There is always a time of adjustment but Mom's needs are being met and the staff are great.

The location is wonderful. The staff is great!

The food is not good at Morningside in the West End. A chef cooks it but its almost too extravagant. The residents would appreciate more basic food I think. It's been an okay experience. It is hard in any situation like this though.

Magnolia Springs Whipps Mill is a great place. We have been very pleased with this facility. We have had some personality conflicts with some of the night care staff. It's really nothing major and a lot of it has to do with my mother-in-law. Overall it has been a good experience.

The staff is very friendly.
