I haven't been able to visit in awhile but I do know the meals are a well balanced diet. The value for the cost runs about the same as other communities in the area, but it is a little better. The staff do a great job caring for the residents at Brookstone.

The issue i had with this community is their lack of sympathy. When my loved one passed I did not get one condolence from this community or staff.

Elmcroft's tour very good. The staff were very caring and very helpful. I had no problems with anything I learned about the community, and I believe my loved one would have been happy there too. We just preferred the rooms at a different community. There was more living space and more opportunities for activities there.

Our family had a tour experience and the sales person was extremely good, they were offering up all the deals to get us to move our loved one in. However it is an older facility, which made it just feel old. We did not like right when you walked in, people were crowding around it felt congested. Also they AC was attached to the windows in the apartments which were small, we know our loved one would of not been able to work that AC unit and we would of preferred to have central air.

The staff are all really nice. If you ask the staff for something they will assist you with the question or getting your request done. The rooms are nice. The breakfast is always good, as they cook what you need. The supper at night is horrible due to taste and texture.

Overall, it's a very nice, friendly, clean place that I think anybody would be happy living in. My loved one seems happy there for the most part. I think the staff try to do the best they can for her when she voices a concern. They seem like good people overall. She likes the food generally. For the most part, it's been a pretty good experience.

The cleanliness of the community was one of the first things that stood out to us, it is very clean and no fowl smells. Their activities director just left who was amazing and always had a lot of things going on, but now we aren't exactly sure what activities they have going on. We would recommend this community to others. Our only complaint right now which we know other facilities are going through, would be the trouble with staffing. There is a shortage of nurses and CNA's so sometimes they are not able to refill our loved ones medication on time.

Everyone here seems happy. The community is neat and clean and everyone is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

It appears to be a newer facility, and it's in a very nice area of town. It's a clean and friendly place. There are about 105 residents, and having that many people is definitely a pro for my loved one. The residents have a lower average age than other places we looked at, and they're more energetic, so she fits right in with her spunky, outgoing personality. The staff is easy to work with. They allow my loved one to be independent and have freedom, yet they still take care of her needs. They're experiencing some staffing shortages and turnover though, and they've even had to bring in some outside staffing services. So sometimes she doesn't get as much personalized attention, and I think sometimes they forget she has poorer vision and needs more help at times. When I call, I can't always talk to a nurse the same day. And they've also lost her laundry a few times. But those are just little hiccups due to being short-staffed. Overall the staff is great. [Name removed], the Director of Sales/Admissions, is very friendly, wonderful, and patient. He and the bus driver picked up my loved one and all of her stuff from the facility she was leaving and moved her in to Elmcroft. He did that personally himself, which was nice. The activities at Elmcroft are pretty good, but they haven't been able to go on outings due to Covid. Overall, we're happy with our choice.

The people working there are great, helpful, kind. They try their best at all times. Very welcoming.

The director and the staff are doing an excellent job and they are dedicated and hard-working. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

We toured Elmcroft on Ontario and it was a nice facility but it was really small.

We chose The Court at Palm Aire because the studio apartment was bigger than the others that we saw and it was also cheaper. They provide 3 meals a day rather than 2 which is what we were looking for. I do think they could have more activities, sometimes my mom gets bored. Overall I would recommend them to others who are looking.

I would tell others that if you have health problems, this isn't the place to go. If it is for memory care needs and help with medications, this is the place to be. Everyone was friendly. The therapists were great to work with for my loved one.

My experience here has been very good, and so far I have no complaints. I like that I don't have to cook. The food is pretty darn tasty for a place like this. I was expecting cafeteria food, and this is a step above. I'm liking the other residents and am looking forward to socializing more going forward. I think it's an excellent value here.

The community seems to be very caring and clean. I wish the communication between staff members that are in charge would be better. I've received several calls about the same subject from several different people at community.

We chose Winterberry Heights because it looked very nice from the outside, then when you walk in it looks like a hotel and not institutional at all. The menu looked wonderful but I was not able to try any of the food. They were chef prepared meals and he was very nice. My brother did not participate in activities, but they did offer a lot of activities and had something going on all the time. Overall we had a good experience.

We toured Isles of Vero Beach with my father. [name removed] was awesome and so welcoming. The residents seemed quite friendly and happy. They are in the midst of a renovation that will make the facility more visually appealing. Apartments are a good size and my father liked that they had screened porches. While in the end, we decided on a different place, this seemed like a nice, affordable option.

We do think the staff are very friendly, responsive and have been helpful on a number of occasions. What really did it for us was that they offered a specific unit for low to moderate dementia care which just fitted our loved one so perfectly.

The community is elegant and beautiful. My loved one is very happy here.
