We chose Elmcroft of Xenia because of the value for the money as well as the proximity to where I live. The staff all seemed very friendly and it had a hometown feel to it. The room sizes are very spacious. I have been disappointed because the hot water has been limited in her room, so some updates to their water system could be beneficial. Overall I would recommend to others looking.

Be very careful with what the person who is going to live there really likes. My loved one is not into activities or anything like that. I think she would have a better time if she would try to participate. Some of the staff are extremely nice, and some not very nice. But they do respond well to any questions or concerns that I've had. We have 24-hour care supplementing theirs, which is not any fault of theirs. My loved one just has a lot of needs. I think they keep the facility very clean, and it's a good place overall.

Of all the places we toured, Stratford Court of Palm Harbor was probably our ultimate choice, and if we could have afforded to, we would have gotten our loved one in there. It was very plush, they were very organized, and it was a very friendly atmosphere. There was a beautiful walk right beside the water on the canal. However, the rooms that she could afford were very oddly set up - they were angular and triangle-shaped. The other rooms were beautiful, just nothing that she could afford.

We chose Oak Ridge because we clicked with [name removed] the administrator. We went with our gut feeling and chose them. She is in a private room and it is good size for what she needs. They have had some staff turnover which I am sure is happening everywhere. They did have a covid outbreak recently and I think that they handled it very well. I would recommend to others looking.

We chose Fountainview because it was much nicer and cleaner than some others we looked into. The facility has a very homey feel to it and the staff were professional. The person that I worked with was unbelievably helpful, I was impressed. The apartment sizes are very nice and spacious. I would recommend to others looking.

I feel like it's too enclosed. There's a not a lot to do. They have a little living room area and an outside courtyard. But I don't ever see anything goin on in the courtyard or anybody using it. One time, months ago, they had a singer come in and sing Sinatra songs, but I haven't seen anything like that since then. Sometimes a staff member will play games with them or do trivia questions. They don't take them anywhere. So I guess my biggest complaint is with Covid, there's not a lot going on. The residents don't seem to be very happy. But I feel that the staff are very attentive. They keep things very clean. My loved one doesn't have to wait when she has a need. They give them their meds on time and take them to meals on time. She hasn't had any complaints about the food. She likes the staff. I just wish there was more to do. Also, mobility is an issue. Because the facility is so small, there's no place for her to park her scooter. And because of that, she feels like they discourage her using her scooter. When I've talked to them, they say they're concerned that she can't control it.

This was a nice community. Their memory care is housed upstairs.

This is a very welcoming community. The admission process is smooth and they are very helpful in the transition of your loved one into the community. Some of the activities include ice cream socials, outdoor movies, cream puff social, and more for the residents to choose from.

I feel they take good care of my loved one. The staff have been nice. Any concerns we've had they were mostly open to listen to and resolve. The facility is kept in good order. He enjoys the activities, especially Bingo. They also go on trips to the store and different places. I think it's one of the better places in the area, and I would have other of my family members go there if they needed care.

We chose Brookdale McMinnville because of the convenient location for our family and they had availability when we needed it. He had a bedroom and small common area shared with one other bedroom and it was good size for 2 people. I was impressed with how friendly and helpful the staff were. I would recommend them.

My loved one has really enjoyed being here. We feel comfortable and safe with our loved one being here. They have a lot of activities, bingo, baking, small movement activities, drawing, painting and more.

The staff members have been phenomenal so far, the people at the front desk, and the marketing team have just been super helpful, accommodating and friendly. They are always on top of everything, and the call button they gave our loved one makes him feel very comfortable in case something ever happens and he needs help. He is loving his apartment and the entire set up. Right now he is not participating much in the activities, but he does tell us they have plenty going on. Our experience these last couple of months has just been wonderful.

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The staff are friendly. Some of the activities available for the residents include exercises, games, music, and more for them to choose from.

Our family had an in person tour and this community is very nice, but we did not like the room layout. Instead of having a separate area for a bedroom, living room or kitchen it was just one big room.

Our loved one was only there for about a month, and due to their health they were not really able to participate in the activities and they also weren't the biggest fan of the food. The care services would be a 10 star and we would recommend to others.

Overall it is a pretty nice price. This is an assisted living facility and not a nursing facility. They don't have a lot of activities for people who need more assistance. The staff overall are good and some of them are even excellent.

I feel that my loved one has gotten good care here. He really likes a lot of his caregivers. I choose this community because they have won the best assisted living for a few years. They have caregivers that have been around for a long time and that was a big deal to me to have people there on a constant basis. There has been a lot of turn over with administration however, they have been good also. They allowed me to go in with my loved one even with the Covid issues and they have supported me through this. This is an older building and they are doing some updates to make the building look better.

Management & staff have been wonderful. This past year & 3 months that mothers been a residents. Two complaints: 10 Laundry, I'm aware of volume of laundry done, however all my mothers clothes have faded, has shrunk, and several items stained & ripped! 2) House keeping does not dust or mop bathroom, vacuum run, only straight path front door to bed, all other areas covered in dust & hair

This facility was more nursing care targeted and my loved one is independent. They offered a lot of care services but my loved one did not need all that was offered.

This is the best value in the area. The staff are very good to work with. The quality of the food for the residents could be improved on. Some of the activities available are: local trips, bingo, Wii bowling, trivia and more for the residents to choose from.
