My dad passed in Memory Care 3 years ago and my mother in Independent Living in February of 2024. We cannot say enough about the kindness shown by the staff at the Menomonee Falls Arboretum and care received for our loved ones. Clean, well managed and quiet, my mother settled in to Arboretum life and was satisfied with her situation. No living situation apart from living with family can measure up, but the Arboretum is the next best option in my opinion when homecare is no longer practical. Thank You Staff of The Arboretum for your care.

The only problem I've had at the facility is a problem with communication between myself some of the caregivers some of the nurses some of the staff not really all their fault. The staff has been helpful in every way even when we didn't communicate, they were willing to try to change things to make that work better. I would recommend them as a memory care facility. I think they do a good job with that.

In our experience the: Personal Caregivers demonstrate care and concern, often just checking in or say hello when they feel like my mom may need a visit. Housekeepers are wonderful and even make an effort to know the residents so that the residents feel comfortable with them. Maintenance Staff seem to always be willing to please when someone needs something repaired and are always timely in response. The staff has been very encouraging to my mom. Although she doesn't participate in some of the activities there. They are always trying to find ways to keep her engaged and have been supportive. The staff has always been welcoming and work together to support the residents in any way they can.

We chose Morningside of Bellgrade because of the size, being smaller and the set up has everything kind of close, which is nice! The easy access to outdoors! And the large bathrooms and nice layout!! They are trying, just like everybody else!

The staff is very friendly, but they are understaffed as are most of these places. There are lots of activities for the residents: Friday happy hour, sundaes on Monday, bingo, movies, Saturday field trips. The food is probably the best thing about this place. There is nice variety and there are alternatives if you don't like the offered. The chef often comes to chat with the diners. As far as assisted living homes go, this one of the better ones.

It was a within my dads monthly income and he went and felt it was a good fit. We also looked at their sister community Palms at Ft. Myers. I thought that was nicer but he picked Calusa so we went with that.

It is a small and friendly community which provides a plethora of services not only for independent living but for those who need assistance. There is a host of activities to keep the body and mind engaged. On site there is also a rehabilitation department for those requiring assistance with mobility. They provide three meals a day either in the dining room or in your unit. They are also sensitive to special dietary needs. Weekly house keeping and linen change is one of the benefits of this facility. Maintenance goes out of their way to help with projects that you need to do. The front desk staff accounts for everyone everyday twice a day. There is transportation to doctors appointments during the week and to church on Sundays.

The staff is excellent. The facility is very nice. We did not rate a 5 because we see there could be improvement in having more organized or structured activities for the residents. Our family member states he is often bored.

I think the community members and staff are friendly. I enjoy the variety of options given for meals and dining given to the residents. Programming that accommodates to a variety of interests is appreciated.

Great, caring staff in a well-maintained living space. Plenty of activities and entertainment for everyone. Great location for rest or recovery for any senior needing assistance with day-to-day needs.

My loved one is currently a resident at The Gardens of Virginia Beach and things have been very good overall. I would probably recommend this facility to others, though it is a little bit costly.

I would recommend Calusa Harbour to others looking for retirement living.

They have been really good and [name removed] is loving living there. we just had some issues with them automatically taking the payment out every month. Facility is always very clean and they recently updated the inside [name removed] made it very easy to enroll [name removed] and has always been super helpful [name removed] loves the food there They were great about getting [name removed] involved from the very beginning and made the change a lot easier for her

Some residents seem "snooty" but I am sure it will take time. Cleanliness receives a 4 only because construction is a little messy. Everyone is so very friendly and helpful. Even though independent living, staff are very caring and helpful. The meals reduced to week day lunch and very challenging for those on restricted diets. We love all the activity options! Very impressive and [name removed] is well liked! Although it is very expensive for elderly population. Size of apartments are small for hefty rental price. I understand though how tough the industry is ( worked in nursing home business) and rising costs of labor and food, ect.. overall happy with where our loved one has there in close proximity to Northshore area where options are very limited.

The staff is small and can't be everywhere but wandering residents are a major problem. It's very disruptive to those who want their privacy. Management needs to address the problem, perhaps hire someone who can take care of the situation. My husband doesn't want to stay there so what am I supposed to do? I'm very concerned and discouraged. I realize dementia is a huge problem for everyone involved.

My parents are residents in memory care. They need so much help. The staff is creative about helping them to eat well, move regularly, and sleep on a good schedule. I just love the staff. They love mom & dad.

Brookdale Medical Center overall has been okay for our loved one. Our loved one really likes the different activities they have going on there and the community is very close for our family. We would recommend this community to other families but it does depend on what kind of attention they may need.

One issue we had was the regular people who would have given us the tour and set up the contract weren't available (one was at her daughter's wedding and one was sick). A person from the Wilsonville Brookdale came and took very good care of us. However, she said they would give us $500 toward moving costs, but my Mom was told they don't do that at the McMinnville Brookdale. Other than that, everything has been excellent.

When we moved our Mother to Magnolia Springs, we were skeptical about the care she would receive. After just one week we quickly realized that she would in fact get great care. About 85% of the staff are extremely loving and caring people. There is always going to be staff that you just don’t click with but it not a reflection of Magnolia Springs as a whole. The food is surprisingly good and sometimes great.

I so appreciate [name removed] in Memory. She is kind enough to keep me informed concerning my mother. And she is very pleasant and kind to my mother and myself. I couldn’t say that until Christine came. My mother has been at Magnolia going on 3 years now. Thank you Christine !
