Hudson Creek is very welcoming and they're able to manage extremely difficult behaviors. They have good communication, which is normally done through phone call; but they also have an app where they upload weekly pictures of your loved one engaged in activities. Some of their activities include gardening, snow cones, and the Red Hat Society (red hat, purple dress club). It's easy to go on the app and see what's going on, but if there's ever an issue they do give us a call. My mother-in-law is currently in the hospital with several infections and illnesses, but they called to get our permission before taking her to the hospital. They could do a better job at helping the residents keep track of their belongings, as they've lost articles of clothing. Aside from that, the community is locked and secure, and I would recommend Hudson Creek to others.

I had a pretty good tour experience with Brookdale Barberton. The reason I did not choose this facility was because I am a maintenance guy and I could tell it was not kept up as well as another place I was looking into. It is also not as new though.

The staff members here are all really friendly, kind and always want to help. Since covid a lot of the activities have just died down and the communities itself and the surrounding grounds could definitely use some up keep and improvements.

My mom seems to be very happy at Brookdale Meridian. They have plenty of activities, which was important to us. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. It's a very nice place and has been a great experience for our family. I have no concerns having my mom there. One thing I didn't think about when searching for and selecting a place for my mom was to make sure you ask for specific financial information and documentation in the beginning. When you're new to the process, it's kind of like you're both speaking different languages, and there were a couple of little things that caught me off guard when we moved in. But it has been a great place overall.

This is a beautiful community. If your family member is not a fall risk it is a very nice place for them. The staff communication with the family was good. It would be nice to see to see more fall prevention technology in the resident's rooms, such as thermal imaging to alert the care staff of potential falls.

Our family had an in person tour and the tour experience was not bad it was just not going to be the best fit for our loved one. Their outdoor space is pretty much just sidewalks and there is minimal seating. We aren't sure if it was just the time of day or what but all the residents just seemed to be kind of wandering around and not being engaged. It was also super expensive.

I would encourage you to visit the community and see if it is a good fit for your loved one. The staff communication is good with the family. There are three meals a day served to the residents, and my loved one is enjoy the meals.

The care services they have are good, but the family has to give feedback to create the best care plan for the resident. The meals are served three times and they have snacks available as well. The community is willing to work with dietary restrictions as well for the residents.

I would tell others to be sure Hudson Creek is going be the best place for you, in regards to memory care. Be sure to do your research, visit and make sure it's best fit for your loved one. The staff to resident ration was okay. Communication between the community and our family was good. They provided weekly updates and phone calls.

We toured Meadowmere & Mitchell Manor Oak Creek. They had a large complex of assisted living, which was a bit far away from the retirement/independent living. I thought that was odd. We had a good tour experience, they were very friendly. We chose another community because our main than was location & easy access, and Meadowmere did not have that.

I think they were really helpful with getting my loved one moved in. The complaint I hear from her the most is she still doesn't have everything unpacked and there's a couple pieces of furniture that haven't been moved in yet. She's also spoken out about the transportation, as its only offered a couple days a week. Fortunately she has someone there to take her places; but it would be nice if they could provide transportation for a variety of times, rather than twice a week. Aside from that, I've asked her how everything was going there and she replied with, "ok". I think it's been okay for her there. I think once she gets settled in, she'll be fine. They've let her bring her dog and they help her take of it. I think its been fine so far.

Brookdale does their best to work with the family. The staff have a lot of longevity, and they haven't used agency nurses or aides, even during the pandemic. They are cooperative and willing to please. However, the execution isn't always what the family expects compared to what the community has promised. The community has a welcoming committee that is made up of residents in the community. The resident that was sent down was only sent down one time to welcome my loved one, and they didn't send the resident council member back to see my loved one. They were only willing to serve a specific kind of soup to my loved one a certain day of the week, as that is when it was offered. I ended up having to go buy the soup for the community to be able to provide to my loved one daily. The nurses here are very caring and patient along with most of the aides as well. It takes a little while for some of the aides to get to know the residents. My loved one was invited to be part of the activities; however, it started to drop off. I ended up having to remind the activities team that my loved one might want to participate, and to try and engage my loved one.

The meals and dining service according to our loved one has been good so far and we would recommend the Creekside Alzheimer's special Care Center to other families based on our overall experience.

I do wish they had more activities and I wish that they would take the residents out. We were under the impression they would be doing that but that hasn't happened yet. Even if it were once a week trips to the store or something l like that that would be helpful. I do also think they could check in more often with the residents. They have a sage leaf family app that I just got on and it will show the activities and if your loved one participated.

Overall Library Square is a good community and they have good safety measures. Some of the safety measures includes call cords in the apartments, and a light switch in the morning to alert the staff they are up, and at night the resident must switch it off by 9 pm. If the light isn't on in the morning the staff go check on the resident. There has been a maintenance request that was put in and this request still hasn't been fixed for my loved one. There is a full kitchen in the apartment. There are two meals a day available for the residents included in the rent. There are a nice choices for the residents to choose from for meals.

I toured Birchwoods and it was average. I didn't see or find anything impressive about the community.

I was impressed with the facility and the staff at Magnolia Springs Loveland. My impression was that the residents were older than my loved one’s age group though. That was the only deterrent. Otherwise, it was pretty and clean and had some beautiful common spaces. It also looked like they had a lot of activities.

This is a very nice community for the cost. It is very reasonable for the pocketbook and the care is good. I have heard about activities like bingo and painting, and I do not feel like they have a lot of activities or even a lot of things posted for the residents to do to stay busy in the community. We would like for them to have more for the residents to do.

The Brookdale Gardens community is very clean and the staff members are very friendly, but sometimes there is a delay in services or when our loved one pushes their button for assistance. Also sometimes the communication is lacking. However we would recommend this community to others, they absolutely love the meals and dining service they said the food is excellent with full complete meals and different choices. They also have plenty of activities available for the residents.

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. We have had a good experience with Morningside of Charlottesville. The staff are very helpful anytime we have questions or concerns about my loved one. My loved one seems to be happy with the activities offered. The community is able to provide medication management, dressing and bathing assistance as some of the care types.
