They recently got a new director of nursing, but we were not properly introduced. We picked this community, because of the friendliness, and being able to address the residents by their names. They have misplaced laundry. The quality of the food has changed, according to the other residents. They have had a turnover in staff, which has created an issue with some of the new people not being properly trained. It's pretty good value for the money.

Rittenhouse the staff seemed very friendly and the community seemed closer knit but Dad is not very social.

We think the care coordination between the nurses and doctors that are on sight has been extremely helpful and we have been able to see that first hand. Just like many other places they are understaffed - it is not effecting the nurses or the aids that care for our loved one but it is effecting the dining service. During meal times it takes awhile for the meals to be served to the residents, but based on our experience so far we would recommend Leisure Park to other families.

I toured this facility and it was good. They didn't seem to have many activities. Cleanliness and friendliness were good.

I didn't get to meet too many people on the tour, but the ones that I did meet were friendly. We chose based on our preference for a different location.

Nothing wrong with Tuscany, very clean, smelled good, nice dining areas, room with a balcony, lots of activities but a comment was made that when a resident can't be taken care of any longer they were sent next door to Barrington Terrace. So why would I make my mom move if we could go to Barrington from the get go. I would recommend Tuscany if the potential resident was a little younger. My mom was 95.

This was a good community and we almost choose this one. The residents seemed happy here. The bathing situation for the residents would have been in a community area.

Brookdale Meridian was a smaller community. It was clean, and the rooms were nice. I didn’t see anything wrong with it. But it was very expensive - $8,000 per month plus another fee for supplies.

Our family had an in person tour and we thought the staff were very friendly staff and residents. The facility is well-kept though much older than heritage. We went with [community name removed] because there was an immediate opening.

The staff really cares about everyone there. They are fantastic and put 150% effort in especially when you are new to the facility to make sure you are comfortable. I would definitely recommend Tuscany Villas to others.

This facility is nice, everything here was fine for my mom. Most of the staff were nice and friendly. Communication with the family was good. I'm not sure how often housekeeping was done, but mom's room was always clean. The whole facility was clean, including the hallways. It always smelled good. The food was great with a great variety. They offer transportation. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

Friendly staff and clean. Great seating areas for visiting, snacking, and games. They raved about the food before we got there but it was very bland. I sat with my dad during a couple of meals and everyone agreed. I had one meal there the first day and was unimpressed.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a nice experience the lady we spoke with [name removed] was very nice.

They’re experiencing the same problem everybody else is right now - they’re having a hard time finding employees. But the staff that are there are very good and are trying really hard to do their jobs. They just need more people.

The community was nice; however, they only had a double room available and we felt it was more than we wanted to spend. The residents seemed to be happy here. The hallways were nice and wide. The outside could use some cleaning.

When we toured with Morningside of Bellgrade, there was a lot of construction going on. It definitely felt chaotic. We just did not want to put our loved one in the middle of all of that.

Don't take their word for things. Make sure you explore and ask a lot of questions. In the initial interview, we were told that if our loved one wasn't downstairs for breakfast by 10am, then they would reach out out to her to make sure she was okay. But that's not true - they're not doing that. And they're not proactive in encouraging participation is social activities, which their sales person also said they would do. I do love the apartment. It's set up nicely, and I wouldn't mind living there myself. It just seems like my loved on might be more on the verge of Assisted Living vs. Independent. I still think it's one of the better places in the area that we looked into.

The tour was intriguing. The energy level here was low which was to be expected since it is assisted living and memory care residents. My loved one just needed a place that was more upbeat and active.

We do like the staff members here we do think they are very friendly and do a really good job. According to our loved one the meals need a lot of improvement - the service seems to be okay but the meals a lot of the times come out cold and the daily options they can pick from sometimes are completely out of.

We toured this facility and considered it. The building was a bit older and we heard there was a big turnover of employees. The cost was quite a bit lower, but that's not the only consideration.
