Ashley Pointe was my father’s 3rd nursing home. The prior two do not even compare to Ashley Pointe, where you are family from the moment you walk in the door. The staff are so very wonderful and always greet you kindly. My father joined the AP community in January of 2022. He had lived alone in a remote home for more than 30 years. He was reclusive and at times refusing help/care. I can honestly say after a year at AP he is out of his shell, making friends, participating in their abundance of daily actives and just overall a happier person. My father used to even refuse to eat at times. However now I get almost daily phone calls. Telling me about the amazing meal he just had or how some of the staff just dropped by to say hi for awhile. They really do treat each member as if they were caring for their own parents. I couldn’t recommend Ashley Pointe enough. They are a great addition to the Lake Stevens community!! I highly recommend this community.

Everybody is very friendly here and the atmosphere is very welcoming, comfortable, and at home. As a resident here, I would recommend for anyone to live here. The staff is always friendly and I have made many good relationships with both residents and staff!

It’s not easy to rate by number…I haven’t been there in person, although I’m very involved from afar and talk to my sister often. I’ve also had a few phone exchanges with a couple of helpful staff members. My other sister also feels encouraged, and traveled there to spend some time in person. This emotional situation is very new for us and there will be a long learning curve. Nothing is perfect, so I won’t say “5” yet, but a solid 4 or maybe even 4+ so far!

We had a very positive experience. The staff was friendly, the food was good and they celebrated and made it festive (ie: cinco de Mayo) to mix it up when they could, our mom liked the activities and we felt it was a good value for the price.

My sister has an insurance policy which covers her stay there but she has to pay and then send a bill to her insurance company and then receive the money back we can put it in the bank it would be easier if they would just bill the insurance company. A nurse distributes the medicine to my sister so she gets her medicine on time and does take her medicine so that is good.

The community here is small, so that is helpful for those in memory care. Staff here have been so kind and respectful and treat my husband very well, but as I mentioned, lots of turnover happening which makes things not run well.

We toured Brookdale Twin Falls during our search for Assisted Living for our loved one. They went over the top. They served lunch to us in a private dining area and showed us several different rooms. My friend was with me during the tour as well and she loved Brookdale. However, it was a little bit too big of a facility for my loved one. They had a whole lot of activities.

The staff has been together at the facility for a long time and are very caring. The communication with the family is very good. The meal quality is good. The only slight downside is the housekeeping, most specifically the laundry service. I believe the facility needs new machines and new equipment. Overall, I have been recommending Barrington Terrace for the experience of the staff, the care, and the overall attention to my mother.

It's an okay place. If your resident is more active, and likes to go out on group functions, other places may keep them more engaged.We had a hard time getting my loved one to consider assisted living. Then one day he said if he had to go to one of those places, he would only consider going there because he knew several of the residents.

I would tell others looking into Brookdale Plymouth to make sure you get a more accurate price before you commit and sign the paperwork. I will say that during our experience here, the staff have been responsive to any comments or concerns that I have had.

The tour experience for Five Star Dayton was a 5 the first time and a 4 the second. The facility was very nice. But the admissions person was new and didn't necessarily know the answers to all of our questions that we had. Their prices were very reasonable though. They are also going through a 3 phase renovation of the cosmetics indoors. This was where my mom said she most wanted to live when she visited this summer. She loved the dining room and our guide [name removed]. They definitely changed management between the summer and when we looked again. The apartments are spacious and have laundry in each plus a large kitchen, which was nice but not needed when they serve 3 meals per day. They have cottages that share a pool, but independent living residents don't have access to the pool unfortunately.

The staff and caregivers are all so friendly and caring. Always welcoming towards visitors.

Residents seem to get along really well and staff is always offering different ways to help.

Staff is very friendly and hard working, but perhaps they could have more staff. I feel that clothing could be changed every other day especially if soiled. I know staff is very busy, but if he could have television on his channel he would be happy. He is unable to operate remote.

The experience for the most part has been positive! The nursing and care giving staff are wonderful. [name removed], the program Director, is fabulous at her job.

Overall we've had a good experience, and I would recommend Stratford Court. Residents just have to be flexible. There seems to be many changes with staffing, which leads to dining changes and activity changes and cancellations.

The staff members at Brookdale Camelot Medina have been amazing with our loved one. We would recommend this community to other families looking for a community for themselves or their loved ones.

I'm currently a resident at The Forum at Deer Creek. Initial contacts with the staff were very positive. Ask as many questions as possible. Ongoing dealings are a little less successful. Housekeeping seems okay. I certainly would recommend a visit to this facility. The grounds are quite nice. The meals are very good and seem very considerate of dietary issues.

Nice... Could use a touch more attention the first month. Overall... very nice people... Not sure how active an approach given to getting folks involved in activities.

Folks there were very helpful and caring after [name removed] passed away and assisted us when [name removed] had to leave after hospital stay. Overall a good community but, you have got to be an active participant in the care of your loved ones. Be visible and stay engaged with the staff. Better than most and the best value for the money. I would recommend to others, but it really depends on the individuals financial circumstances.
