I feel there wasn't enough staff to properly care for my loved one during their stay here. This would be a great place for those who only needed light assistance. If your loved one requires more assistance or has some memory care, I would recommend you ask lots of questions to make sure they are able to assist with the care required for your loved one. The management team is really good and they were helpful. The Marketing Director made us feel at home during the tour, and answered our questions, and they were very welcoming, along with the Financial Director. The only concern we had were that the communication of who was filing in for caregivers, or nurses could have been better with the family. It would be nice to see the caregivers remind the residents to use their walker to ensure the resident doesn't fall. The food and service are really good. The activities were good for my loved one, and they had a dedicated activities director. There were varied activities such as field trips, entertainment, and more in house. It would be nice to see more staff trying to engage the residents into the activities offered. The rate during our stay was lower than other communities in the area. The staff were dedicated and the community is beautiful.

Certainly housekeeping/maintenance could use improvement , doors, door facings need cleaning or painting. The interiors are in need of serious updating. Pressure washing of outdoor areas needed on patios and walkways. The staff is very conscientious and communication with the famliy is good. The food is mediocre, I would not be interested in dining there. Too many pickled beets! And some of the food combinations seem odd. I would recommend this facility to others on the basis of care and cost, and have done so.

We would highly recommend the Grand View community to anybody. Our only complaint I had was when we took mom out of the home we were due a refund of roughly [fee removed] and it took a long time to get it back. I made numerous calls and at one time was told it was not a priority at that time. It took over 2 months to get refunded. That being said the facility was very nice and the stuff was very nice and helpful.

It's night and day compared to our previous experience in Goodlettsville, TN. The facility is well maintained, roomy and very safe. The atmosphere is friendly and open to family. Visitors are always welcome. The staff treat the residents with respect and try to preserve their dignity.

Magnolia Springs Loveland is a remarkable place. It's not perfect, but they have been easy to work with, and the process was streamlined and quick.

We toured Orchard Park at Southfork and it was a good facility and tour. The cleanliness and friendliness were good. The staff, care services, and value for the cost seemed good, also.

I have not been totally satisfied with the nursing staff. They do have a new nurse practice now, which I think will help. The rest of the staff I believe are very good. My experiences with the communication other than nursing has been excellent. My loved one says that the food is not good. I have not eaten there myself. I would recommend the facility, but I truly have nothing to compare it to either.

Our family had an in person tour with Park Summit and we thought overall it was a good tour experience. It was one of our top choices, however the only down side was the property - it was not as modern and vibrant which is what we wanted. It felt more weathered.

They run a very efficient and friendly place for elderly seniors. They play bingo, do crafts, and have entertainment such as a man & woman play guitar and sing songs to them sometimes. They pay attention to them on their birthdays by having a cake for them and others in the home.

We had a very short stay at Stoney Ridge Senior Living. Even with our short stay, I believe the staff communication with the family could have been better regarding our loved one. The meals could have been better for our loved one as well.

My Mom LOVES it there, and it's 100% better than her last place which was dreadful! Bedford Estates is absolutely AMAZING. My 91 year old Mother has been in Independent Senior Living for the last 20 years. When she had to make the move to Assisted Living last year, we didn't know where to start. The first facility was short staffed and had problems upon problems with missed medications, missed meals and falls with no caregivers to help. My Mom finally left that facility on a stretcher 2 days before Christmas due to a bully Caregiver who pushed her. Yes, you read that right! We were frantic for a new Assisted Living facility and so grateful for [name removed]at A Place for Mom who helped during the Christmas holiday. She found Bedford Estates and my Mom completed the assessment and moved in a couple days after Christmas directly from the hospital. She didn't have any of her furniture when she first arrived, but Bedford Estates provided a fully furnished room until her furniture could be moved. Everything at Bedford Estates is EXCELLENT! They have a nice large dining room with a wide selection of menu items. My Mom used to constantly complain about the food at the old place but at Bedford Estates she raves about the food. And it's the little things that mean a lot to my Mom. At Bedford Estates, they have a nice table setting with fine linen and silverware at every seat. At the old place, they had plastic utensils which the residents had to track down! I am forever grateful to the fine folks at Bedford Estates for welcoming my Mom and providing such a comforting, safe environment. Highly recommend, and take it from me, I have seen the bad facilities. You won't go wrong at Bedford Estates!

We were impressed with the layout of the rooms at Wellstead, and the overall space. Bright and lots of windows, especially the unit we got. There were a few minor issues early on, but they were addressed promptly. Both parents are very happy with the meals, a surprise! The staff were helpful and concerned, right down to Housekeeping. I would recommend The Wellstead of Rogers to others without hesitation!

The experience is very good. They seem to tame on top of things, and will address any concern or issue right away. Most of the staff is very friendly, but don't really say much unless you ask. It's very good value.

My loved one likes their apartment very much and the staff are very friendly and helpful. But the food is AWFUL. They definitely need to up their game on food. The pictures of what my loved one sends me are pathetic and disrespectful. If they can't get decent staff to cook perhaps they should cater in the food.

Be sure to stress the level of communication you want with the nursing staff. Make sure you know who to contact in each department if you have concerns. I am struggling getting the activities director to involve my loved one more. He can be reclusive. I have had to very hands on with my loved one's doctor appointments and med changes. Again it is a communication issue. We like the coziness of Ponderosa Lodge. The size of the apartment was a big part of our decision, he loves it. We just hope communication will improve.

We looked at three different places--different communities, different sizes, in different geographic locations. Brookdale was most familiar to [name removed] (resident) she has lived in Edina most of her life. She had a short term stay at the Residence Inn, which is next door, during a remodel project in her home several years ago. She was familiar with Edinborough Park, too, which is connected to Brookdale. It is convenient and close to her medical appointments and shopping that she enjoys. The admin staff has been good and responsive.

My parents are making friends and enjoying their company. They enjoy the staff. They also enjoy the meals. It has been a peaceful place for them to live.

Based on our experience we would recommend Morningside of Bellgrade to other families.
