The residents seem happy and the price is among the lowest in the area out of the places we looked into. They appear to be under staffed. It appears most assisted living facilities are under staffed.

Would recommend without hesitation. The overall environment and the warm reception. Everyone is friendly, hospitable, feels welcoming.

For a patient without cognitive decline it would be an excellent facility. My aunt unfortunately had many mental health and cognitive issues so it was not the best place for her. She needed a smaller setting.

The faculty and staff are very helpful and friendly. They have made my mom's stay very pleasant. They offer different style rooms to choose from and they all are set up well and decent size with the amenities needed.

The staff definitely needs more help. More activities might be helpful as most people spend so much time in their units the facility itself is very nice. The independent and assisted living areas are combined which was a disappointment to me. I was expecting to live in an independent area. I did enjoy my stay there, but the weather was just too horrible for my body

Comments about facility/staff 1) They have a NP come by once a week. This might not be good enough for each resident. Recommend getting a conventional PCP (Primary Care Provider). 2) Staff not available 24/7. Night shift frequently leaves before day shift arrives. Eventually, a resident will have a medical emergency (heart attack, stroke, nasty fall). The intentional decision not to have staff available 24/7 is alarming. Have brought my concern about this to the Business Manager, and she immediately disregarded my concern. She also refused (after several face to face requests) to provide copies of the admission documentation. Makes it look like they are hiding something; feeling highly suspicious. 3) The food is terrible. Think of High School cafeteria food. 4) Best activity by far is the monthly visit by service dogs. Lots of love involved, and the dogs enjoy it tremendously!

Having been at the Arboretum for about one month, I have found it to be all and more I hoped for as I go through this next adventure in my life. (1 Affordable (2 Compassionate and helpful staff (3 Great activities and trips (4 Location in community (5 Very easy to start new friendships (6 Good to Very Good meals and food service considering the various needs of so many I am very pleased and in speaking to long/term residents, I have confidence that will last.

My sister has been at Magnolia Springs three years now. I think it is a great place but feel there has been much change over the past few months and I have great concerns on the new leadership. Lack of currently technology which they use (Odessa) before a replacement was absurd. It was a good way to communicate to residents from your staff as well as family to upload pictures and communication. Feel the cart before the horse. This has heightened my concern on the new management of the facility. Are the changes in the best interest of the residents or of the company

Virtually everyone at Magnolia Springs really has a great attitude. The cleaning staff was second-to-none, and the dining there was a terrific experience. The place needs a better exec director and business admin, but otherwise it's great. The cleaning staff especially went all-out to keep the facility clean and beautiful. The staff members were very friendly and kind.

Staff is very helpful and so nurses and med techs. Questions answered in a timely manner. Dislike PA system calling out residence room numbers when assistance is needed. Every resident us disrupted by this day and night. Don't always get the right clothes back from the laundry.

Everyone of the employees is Brookdale/Whitby care about their residents.

We picked them because it was a beautiful physical plant, welcoming staff. It was an assisted living facility. They accepted my sister who had dementia. Would recommend. But not for someone with dementia. As the disease progressed, in spite of staff efforts, they did not have enough to check on her often enough. It would be very good for social people without dementia.

Overall the experience at Brookdale has been very good. The staff is incredibly friendly and caring. They continue to impress me.

The Court at Palm Aire is a wonderful community! The Sales Director and staff are incredibly caring and go above and beyond to ensure the residents feel at home. The newly renovated spaces are beautiful and welcoming, creating a warm environment for everyone. My mother has had such a positive experience here, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the support and kindness shown by the team. If you’re looking for a place that feels like family, this is it!

The facility is clean and usually adequately staffed. Food is fairly good. I do think they need to have a quicker response time when residents buttons are pushed.

The staff was extremely helpful in placing family member where they needed to be for assistance. I wish they had initiated communication with the family more but they responded in a timely manner to my contacts or meeting requests. They were instrumental in helping get family member into residence on short notice. The facility is lovely and has available many things to make living there less stressful to resident. The front desk concierge was always nice and helpful. The food is excellent. I have been very satisfied with the help and information during a very difficult situation. As my family transitions from assisted living to memory care, everyone has been cooperative in an effort to make things go smoothly

Cleanliness is getting better. Quality of care is up and down. OP is in a climate of change now. They have a new management company. They have new use of iPad's by all care partners to meet and track response to needs of clients, so that should help. There is a new chef, so that should help. My mother doesn't attend many activities, but they sound and look ok to me. Cost is going up 5% in Jan. We opted to move to a one bedroom from the two to address that increase. Some things that have been a concern, are better. My mother does not remember she needs help. Doesn't use her call button, tells the workers she doesn't need their help, and some don't know how to respond to that, and believe her. In the past, they have not always brought her a meal to her room when she doesn't go to the dining hall. The new system and chef are supposed to help that issue. So far seems like it. Weekends, middle shift, are the worst for consistency of care.

Brookdale in Twin Falls, was very accommodating to our very rushed time frame to get my mom a room. They were very understanding and helped us out so much. The staff were extremely compassionate to our needs. My only issue was with corporate and getting a refund after mom passed away.

Great time with bingo, Nice snacks and drinks. Great staff.

I would say that a person dealing with a urostomy bag should not reside in South Carolina A. L. C.
