I enjoyed visiting The estates at Knightbridge as I begin exploring independent, living opportunities. It has a lovely setting. I enjoyed the tour and the women who escorted us were pleasant and informative.

So far, everything is going well. The staff are all very attentive and they are good about keeping us updated on any changes or additional needs. The cleanliness is not perfect but not horrible. The room is a good size and appropriate for my mother. She food always looks pretty good to me but my mother is extremely picky. I will say that the last month or two everything has improved at Bedford Estates. From the medical staff care to the administrative care. I am very pleased with the administrative staff.

I toured this facility and others for someone who was unable to. I liked the levels of assistance that can move when needed. They had a wide range of activities offered. I saw many active people and happy faces. The meals looks appealing along with the feel of the dining area. The ease of the rehab accessibility was important to us. Also, moving into the 1 bedroom with the ability to stay in the same unit if independence is obtained. If I needed to move into assisted living or independent living when I am a little older (not that far off), It would be a top choice for me.

Magnolia Springs has the largest bedroom closet of any place we've seen, plus an additional bathroom linen closet. The rooms also include a refrigerators and "kitchen" sink with cabinets above and below, which is uncommon in memory care. Feels homey!

I was visiting with my sister to see if she would like the place. I found the place very nice I liked it it's secluded off of a main road nestled in among the trees. Everybody was nice and friendly. At the time they were remodeling but you couldn't even tell things telling us that found it to be very nice just wish my sister would have taken the place but it was very nice.

Very positive environment and they really get my mom moving as much as possible, but also able to use a Hoyer Lift to help as necessary. I would recommend them

Mom is happy. She loves her room and has a great view of the water feature. She likes the food and the staff. My only concern is that since I'm away for the summer, the staff has not communicated with me as promised. It truly was a positive move for my mom.

The locations intake, Director. [name removed] was great patient and informative. The front desk. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The medical assessment person was less impressive than hoped. As far as the food we have noted very positive reviews, and although only they are short times. My mother-in-law seems to be partaking more in the activities. Overall positive review.

Having spoken with a representative the week prior to my visit, I came in without an appointment. She talked to me about the facility and gave me a tour. It has been recently renovated and the room she showed me was very nice. The overall atmosphere was pleasant and the facility was very clean.

Staff is great, it's a kind facility. The Food is lousy, tasteless. Apartment is nice, whole facility is very clean, well-maintained. I would recommend them to others who are searching for senior living.

From what I've seen, the assisted living part of Stoney Ridge appears to be nicer, offers more activities, and shows better to potential residents. The facility is generally nice, although my mom's room still has a sticky floor from when she moved in. The staff is friendly, but the quality of care in memory care has been mixed. If it weren't for the hospice nurses who come in, I'm not sure the care would be as good. The office staff has been very helpful, but maintenance has been slow to resolve some issues, such as replacing a TV remote that only partially works. The food has been disappointing. The memory care activities are pretty limited or non-existent, and my mom is rarely encouraged to participate. Overall, I feel the value for the money is average. If I had it to do over, I would probably choose a different community. It's better than some places, but if money were not a factor, I would have chosen another location. Memory care seems to be short-staffed at times, and without the additional help from hospice, I'm not sure how well my mom would be cared for.

My mother in law really likes the staff and finds them kind and supportive. She's made new friends and has told me once she got settled the room is big enough. She appreciates they let her choose the her room so she has a nice view of the courtyard. She's enjoying the activities and she's more engaged and seems happier than she has in years.

Very welcoming staff. We had some miscommunication with them and my mother's doctor but it worked out but did delay the move in date. My mother is enjoying her first month and loves the staff. I would recommend it. Great location and clean too

Ponderosa has been great to work with and very accommodating despite some twists and turns along the way trying to get my parents moved. My only criticism would be having to follow-up on a few items several times in order to get them done. Overall a very good experience and wonderful, caring staff to lean on.

The people at Hudson Creek care about the residents' health and wellbeing. They're knowledgeable, trained, and caring. The facility is well maintained and clean. They're always friendly and truly work hard to care for the needs of the residents. There are specialists (psychiatrists, wound specialists, geriatric specialists, podiatrists, etc.) who routinely come to the facility to care for the residents health issues.

Staff is very welcoming. My father-in-law was negative about the move and never gave the place a chance. Rooms are nice size. A/c and heat are adjustable in the bedroom and the living room. Try to get a room close to the dining hall to increase the likelihood that your loved one will go to meals and activities. I thought the meals were good. He thought they all tasted the same. He is not eating anything regardless. Hospice works well with the Lorain Estates staff. They need a larger parking lot for visitors.

The rooms are nice size, the staff is very helpful and takes very good care of my mother-in-law. Activities were working on getting her involved in, but they seem like they are very diverse.

Overall rating I would give Riverside 4 stars. Staff have always been friendly and caring. Food is good. The floor is an LVP and I'm not sure they are using the right cleaner. Most of the time it feels very sticky.

Nice place but they didn’t think mom would be a good fit so they sent us elsewhere.

I'm happy with Calusa Harbor, once I got used to the idea they had definitely oversold themselves. The food is not up to a 5 star as told. I have a pup who has separation anxiety. There is no place set aside where you could eat and have your pup lay on the floor so she doesn't bark and bother other residents. The dog walk is a short piece of concrete on the back of the building with a couple of grassed areas. The dog park is a fenced off piece of grass with one bench and nothing else. Also, located in front of the facility not anywhere located near the dog walk. Not sure there are any dog who would enjoy playing in a 4 inch tall grown patch of grass. Need to do dramatic changes to the dog park. The garden they told my kids about, thought it was a real garden for growing a few vegetables, is actually a concreted area with plants all around, a sitting garden. The pool is fantastic, just as they told us. The things that should have been emphasized, that I found out myself, weren't. Such as only being two blocks from downtown Fort Myers. Beautiful fashion stores, thrift shop and top notch eateries just a short walk from Calusa. Also, the dock is great for fishing if that's something you like or for just sitting with a cocktail or coffee looking at the beautiful bay. The people are great. Professional but friendly. Don't want to just write the things I was disappointed in, because I am very happy at Calusa. Just disappointed in a few points I was very happy with for my [Name removed]. So, so glad they accept dogs just need to improve if this is going to be a high point in the sale. They are great. Plenty to do for all taste's of activity. From bingo to aerobics and Concerts.
