The care was great. They were very personable with my loved one when he was coherent. They were really caring, and they treated him as if he was their father. Trying to deal with Covid was a challenge, but they worked with us to see him as soon as possible He transitioned into hospice care almost immediately. And they were very helpful in that process and welcoming so we could spend as much time with him as possible.

We chose this because he knew someone here so he was familiar with it. The apartment sizes are perfect for him and what he needs and he has his own patio. He was not the biggest an of the food and he thought it could use some more flavor. I think they could have a larger outdoor sitting area, especially with covid and everyone vising outside. I would definitely recommend to others looking.

We have peace of mind with our loved one here. He seems to be happy here, and happy with the services - the laundry, the kitchen. He feels safe as well. When we set up visits, they've been really accommodating to what works with our schedule, since we travel from out of state. They're good at sending notifications and updates on what is going on in the community. Especially during the pandemic when we can't go into the apartments, they're good about getting food or services that we deliver to our loved one. I see that they are offering adequate activities, but he just hasn't participated.

We have only heard good thinks about the meals they serve the residents, and even thought our parents are absolutely enjoying the activities we do wish there was more of a variety. We would absolutely recommend this community to others

They were very welcoming. They have a program with ambassadors to help new people get introduced to the existing residents. They have great activities, and my loved one participates in just about all of them - yoga, in-chair yoga, rubber band exercise, she loves the nightly piano and singing time, happy hour. The food has been excellent, and she is a very picky eater. She's very happy with the staff and administration. Her apartment itself was very neat and clean when she moved in, and she's thrilled to be there. It is also a very safe, nice place for walking. It's right across the street from the ocean, and it's on the Intercoastal. So she has a nice view. And it's half the price of the last place where we had a bad experience. Basically, when mom is happy, we are happy. And she is happy. When we talked to the other residents before moving in, they all said they were happy there. If you want to go to activities, those are good. And the food is great. You really can't ask for more than that for seniors. They take you anyplace you'd like to go, doctor visits, shopping, grocery shopping. It's all on a schedule and easy to understand. It works great.

We really appreciate the love and kindness in the community. They are so accomodating to the changing needs of our loved one.

When my loved one was here, the staff were absolutely amazing. It was clean. They were so friendly. There were so many things for the residents to do. It's beautiful there. It's welcoming to family members. We were even able to have my daughters' first birthday party there. They were so wonderful and accommodating for everything. The food was actually great too. The choices and options they had were really good. But it also had really great flavor. It didn't taste like bland, hospital food. It was more like a restaurant. And we would go on Sundays after church and have lunch with her. It's basically a cruise ship on land.

My mother moved into one of the independent living cottages in 2006. The cottages are spacious and gave her all the amenities she wanted. The caregivers responded as needed. When she needed more help taking care of herself, she moved into a higher care apartment and caregivers provided daily assistance. The caregivers were outstanding and very professional. AP administration was always responsive and a pleasure to work with. Following a recent stay in the hospital, the social worker wanted her moved to a skilled nursing facility. When no openings were available, AP assured the social worker they could meet her needs. They delivered on that promise and provided excellent support then and throughout the pandemic. My mother passed in March from natural causes. She was comfortable in her home thanks to the caregivers sensitive and thoughtful efforts. The highest compliment came from the hospice nurse who stated AP had the best caregivers and support that she had worked with.

It seems everyone is friendly, and they seem to have nice activities. We've just not had a lot of luck getting our loved one to participate. I know Magnolia Springs has done their best to encourage her as well. My loved one has fallen several times, and they have always have contacted us immediately. Overall I don't have any complaints. The care here seems to be excellent.

When we initially toured this facility it stuck out to us and was very welcoming. Since our loved one has moved here it has been easier to visit than at his previous facility. My brother is actually able to take him out to lunch and to do things. He seems to be more comfortable here

The community is private pay and there is no state assistance. So if you can not pay out of pocket you would have to move. Communication is good between the staff and our family and they do zoom calls for us. I would recommend this community to others.

It is strictly a memory care facility and they were great at redirecting her attention when needed. They do not have an RN on staff at all times, the ones on staff 24/7 are LVNs. The administrative staff was wonderful, always very accessible. Their activity coordinator was great, she facilitated many great things for the residents to do. She did really enjoy the food that was served here. I would tell others to make sure that your loved one has comfortable clothing and do not bring anything expensive in here. I would recommend them to others looking.

It's been a positive experience, and I would recommend them. They're very friendly and informative. They're as good as could be expected in dealing with my loved one with dementia.

My mother is 95 and has been in Magnolia Springs for almost 2 years. She moved in with my father and he passed away just shy of their 70th wedding anniversary. The staff is wonderful and have made my mother's transition to a widow very easy. She is very happy and constantly tells me how well she is treated. My family highly recommends Magnolia Springs.

I just want to say that thinking of moving my 95 year old mother with mild dementia caused me great anxiety - she had always said she wanted to stay in her own home. Then I found Magnolia Springs East and convinced her to tour it with me - just to look at what was available to her. We went for the tour on Friday afternoon and everyone there was awesome. It was a positive experience for both of us. Later that evening when we got back home mom was so excited. She only had positive things to say about the beauty, cleanliness, friendliness of the staff and residents as well. Mom wanted to know how soon she could move there, and so the decision was made. On Wednesday, just 5 days later we moved her in. The moving experience was just as wonderful as the tour. Everything about the move went extremely smooth thanks to the staff. Mom has already become part of the family and today is only her second day there. She loves it and so do I.

First of all, the place is very clean. They always keep her room clean. Her sheets are clean, and they keep up with her laundry. Her bathroom is clean. The floors are always swept, and you always see people cleaning. All the attendants are very nice, and every time I call they're very responsive and answer my questions right away. If somebody can't answer, they call me back immediately. They always have some type of activity they're doing, for instance crafts or crossword puzzles, or reading a magazine together, or tv shows. They allow the residents to walk around and talk to one another, which is nice. Also I noticed a calendar in her room with all the daily activities for the month.

We chose Elmcroft of Washington Township because they will accept medicaid when it comes down to that time which was the biggest deciding factor and what they had to offer for memory care. They send out lots of emails, calls when there are issues, and face times when they were closed down so they have been good with communication and response time. I would recommend to others who are looking.

We chose Brookdale because it was recommended to us and it seemed like the residents here were more happy and spirited, they were all so friendly. It was just so clean, pleasant and it was so pretty. They do have a great variety on the menu and they are chef prepared meals. When we would go on Sundays for family dinners, people would be right there slicing ham and turkey with a beautiful buffet. The entire staff is so friendly and welcoming, even when we were just looking. They decorate the facility for every holiday and make it feel very homey. I would highly recommend to others looking.
