We toured Barrington Terrace and it was a lovely facility, this was actually our second choice. The only reason we did not choose it was because we were having to transport our loved one and it seemed a little more difficult here than at another facility we looked at. It just did not work out in our case.

Just wanted to Thank the Staff at Oak Hill Terrace in Spring House for my Mothers Care. We brought her here to Oak Hill Terrace from an out of State facility due to the very poor care she was receiving at that facility. Moving her to Oak Hill was the answerer to my Prayers. The staff and especially [name removed] did an excellent job with my Mom. She went from being sad and depressed to engaged and enjoying life again. She had some special needs, other than her Dementia, but the team at Oak Hill Terrace stepped up to the challenges she gave them and through their diligence and exceptional care she was happy during her stay at Oak Hill Terrace. Even through the COVID hardships, they dug in and found inventive ways to keep her engaged. I can’t speak highly enough of this establishment and their team. While this Dementia condition and COVID situation presented difficult obstacles, they went above and beyond of what I what though possible. I am so thankful that she was in their care.

So impressed. Staff was exceptional. Comfortable knowing the nurse availability. Great activities schedule. Good room size with sizable closet and views. Competitive pricing with cares cap. Obviously our first choice.

The entire staff team from top to bottom were very good, and the cleanliness of the community improved with the remodeling. We have absolutely no complaints with the community. The head nurse was very helpful, the sales gal was also very good working with our family, and moving our loved one from a one bedroom to a studio. Brookdale is a very good organization to work with, and we had full confidence in their honesty.

All the staff was super nice and answered all of my questions and concerns. My only concern is no lockdown unit if my father becomes more confused. But, it was a lovely and clean building. They shared with me the planned activities and meals which all looked great.

I am a vendor partner with Magnolia Springs Lexington, providing on-site therapy services to residents, and we work closely with the entire facility team on a day-to-day basis. I had the pleasure of visiting recently, and was so impressed with the warm, welcoming environment and the friendly, happy staff that greeted me at every turn. I could see the smiles of each person even though everyone was wearing a mask - their eyes were shining so brightly! I also saw eager families checking-in to visit family members, COIVD safety precautions in place and excitement in the air. The services and amenities that Magnolia Springs Lexington offers are second to none, but it's the amazing atmosphere and amazing people on staff that make this a true home. You are considered family here.

Due to the covid restrictions we have still had a limited experience, but we are still having a positive one. They are trying to bring the in house activities back, they have bingo and exercises classes. We do think the value for cost is excellent.

My mother has been a resident at Howard Village since [date removed]. She loves it there which is due in large part to the spirit of excellence created by the Executive Director and the team under her direction. From my mom’s initial transition until today I have witnessed high levels of compassion and support for Howard Village residents and their loved ones. The communication with both residents and family members is outstanding. Living 850 miles away, I am afforded great comfort and security knowing that my mom is under the competent watch of the Howard Village team. If ever there is an issue I know that the communication, actions, support and guidance provided has been and will be with the highest level of compassion and expertise.

Our loved one is a very fussy and picky eater, but they have managed to make her meals and give her meals that she is really enjoying. The activities are still pretty minimal, but she does enjoy bingo on Friday's. The value for cost compared to others, we do feel that it is very good.

I was very happy with Birchwoods. The staff was wonderful to my loved one. They knew her, and they interacted with her. They were very positive, and she enjoyed her interactions with them. They were just wonderful. Communication was very good. I'd call to check in on what was going on, and they kept me informed as to what was happening. The common areas were clean, and I always saw people going though cleaning. They were always in my loved one's apartment cleaning every day. She wasn't thrilled with the food, but she was used to cooking for herself for so long. But all the food I saw looked good. There were limited activities due to Covid, but I saw that they did what they could when they were able to . The activities directors were very pleasant, and they got to know the residents, even if they couldn't offer all the activities they wanted to do. And the little bit my loved one was able to participate in, she enjoyed.

This community was also a really nice place. [name removed] gave a nice tour and was very helpful. It's really hard on deciding for a place for your love one!

My dad was a resident at Magnolia Springs East for a few years until the fall of 2020 - and I can’t say enough about the staff there. Everyone was welcoming and helpful. We had a positive experience. [name removed] the administrator, was extremely knowledgable, helpful, professional and compassionate as she helped us work through any aging or health-related challenges that arose, really any challenges! My dad enjoyed living there - and loved the staff and the food! The communications with families was exceptional. I already miss hearing hear from and talking with them. Thank you!

We toured this community and the tour was very good and the staff very friendly. My only concern is that the community had that nursing home smell.

Overall, our experience was very good. The only thing is, it wasn't as secure as I would have liked it to be, and that caused my loved one to wander off. It was very clean there. What I tried of the food was good, pretty tasty. Definitely edible. The staff and the residents all seemed nice and friendly. The admissions director was fabulous. The apartments were nice - I was very sold on them. I thought they were very well laid out and spacious. The one complaint I have is no money was refunded on the month's rent we had paid ahead when we had to move out after a short time when my loved one wandered off. That I was very disappointed in.

The community is safe, neat, clean, and very nice. The staff is so friendly and does a great job. The food is good and my loved one looks forward to mealtime. I would highly recommend this community to others.

Beautiful beachy feeling building. Conveniently located. Very friendly atmosphere.

We did like the Isles, the staff members were great and the lady who was in charge of the sales was fantastic. There was very minimum activities during the three weeks our loved one was there, but he did participate in bingo in smaller groups. The meals were fantastic and it was on the least expensive communities in the area. It is a very nice functioning community and they were just remodeling the inside when our loved one moved in.

The director of nursing doesn't call back, and he really doesn't seem to put any effort into communicating with the family. I think the day to day care is good overall. I would give them a 4/5. I like that the person in charge of the dementia unit is very experienced and qualified in her role, and she makes the unit run smoothly and efficiently. She's very concerned about the patient and communicates well with the family. I never got a video call unless it was from the staff. I know they had an activities director who was supposed to be setting up scheduling for video calls as activity for the residents, but that never happened. Calls only ever came from a couple of the girls on their personal phones. In hindsight, they could have done much better on communication.
