We liked the community. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

The staff provide great care. The rooms are clean. The community functions well. I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. They have at least two to three activities a day for the residents to participate in. Some of the activities included bingo, movies, outside entertainment, and more for the residents to choose from. The food was prepared well, and served like a restaurant. They even had flowers on the tables in the dining room. There is a hair salon and an exercise room on the property.

This is a wonderful community for you or your loved one. My loved one was at two communities prior and she should have been here. This community was outstanding for her. The staff here were great and excellent everything at this community was perfect. I really wish we would have found it sooner for my loved one.

The staff are extremely helpful and very accommodating to all of our needs. The room is big and it was very clean and prior to moving in they made sure that everything was all set and that my loved one was comfortable. They were very informative on the tour and I felt very comfortable speaking with them. They provided all that I needed during the tour.

My loved one loves it here and loves the activities provided. It has been a rough transition due to the new ownership. Overall it is good and I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. My loved one thinks the food is good. Some of the activities enjoyed by loved one include exercise group, drives around town, baking, and more.

The staff are very friendly and helpful towards the residents. The food is excellent here. There are lots of activities for the residents to participate in if they choose. The community is beautiful. I love my room. There is housekeeping once a week. They have a beautiful lanai There is a library on site for the residents to use. They allow pets to come into the community and can live with the residents. They allow overnight guests. I have beautiful views from my room. The community has transportation for shopping trips and doctor appointments. [Name removed] was a delight to help me get into the community and was very helpful.

Our family is most appreciative of the great care my mom received at Barrington Terrace. My mom had limited mobility, but the staff always assisted her so that she could participate in the recreational activities. (Which she thoroughly enjoyed). The dining room is bright and cheerful and the chef was most accommodating to my mom’s dietary concerns. Thank you again for the wonderful care and attention given to my mom. I would recommend that others visit. My loved one is very happy there and so are we.

My aunt has only been at this community a few months but it's clear that she is thriving in her new home. The staff has taken such great care of all her needs, from booking her salon appointments to motoring her health. My family and I couldn't be happier with Brookdale Whitby.

We chose Brookdale Meridian because I thought the facility and the staff really set themselves apart from the others that we looked into. What sticks out to us the most is the staff members, they have bene extremely friendly and helpful and have gone above and beyond. I would recommend this facility to other families looking.

It has been really great overall. The staff is wonderful. The only problem we've had is our loved one started out in a furnished room and then moved to an unfurnished room. And in that new room, they've had problems getting her phone hooked up. But they're working on it. And everything else has been great. She loves doing the crafts and exercises. She's eating and looking better. It was not easy to get her moved in there - she was VERY resistant. At times she still wishes she was home, but she know she needs to be there. And it has meant a lot that she can have her cat there with her.

[Name removed] was very professional and a wonderful Community Resource Director! She worked very closely with us to get our mother into the Pines. She was always so pleasant and so sweet!! She even came in on a Sunday so [name removed] was able to see the room, since he lives in Minnesota. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about [name removed]! Moving one's mom into an assisted living home is a very emotional thing but [name removed] helped us to feel loved, listened to, and knowing that we were leaving our mom in wonderful hands. Thank you [name removed]!!!

This community was okay. My mom likes to walk and be outside a lot so the location is important when it comes to the community. The community also did not have the right feeling that I was looking for. It kind of felt like a nursing home. They gave us lots of information on the tours , it was a great tour but it was just not the right place for my loved one.

This is a fabulous community. The attentiveness, extent of programming, and responsiveness of the care for the residents all stand out to me. The staff are easy to work with, and they listen to the family's request. They are quick to address any concerns as they arise. The activities will vary depending on the level of care your loved one will need. Brookdale Edina does provide independent living through memory care which is nice. Exercise, movies, and more are some of the activities offered to the residents.

Dad seems to like it there. He does activities every day. Other than complaining about the food not having any seasoning, he's made a lot of friends up there, and he says everybody is really nice. And as long as he's happy, we're happy!

So far the experience has been great and we are very happy with them. It is a great value for the money and the staff really worked with us in the beginning. I would highly recommend Lorain Estates to other families.

Our family had an in person tour and we really liked The Gardens it could of really been a flip of a coin, but what it really came down to was the price and it was just a little out of range.

I am in the real estate business working with senior communities as my clients are mostly older adults who would move into these same communities. My father passed away, and my mother was now alone after her 63 year marriage to my dad. She was shy and quiet and worried about settling into senior living coming from their condominium. She lived their almost 5 years, and was always received the care she deserved, Her apartment was so nice, and offered all of the amenities she desired. As her health deteriorated, she move to assisted living, and never had to leave her apartment. That meant everything to us. She lived a great life, almost 96 years, and was the last of her generation in our family. Thank you to all at Laurel Oaks who gave my mother the kindness and treatment she so deserved. Our family had an in person tour and this was one of our favorite communities we checked out but the price was just to far out of our range. It is very clean, orderly and well decorated. It it more updated then others we checked out.

We had a very nice tour with Brookdale, but my loved one was needing some help with memory care and we were not sure how much dementia she had at this point.
